For the classic hometown diner experience, nothing beats the Country Cookin Diner in Port St John! Great food, home cooked quality, and excellent service makes every trip there satisfying! I just went today (for the million-th time) and had Alyssa as my server. She was attentive and friendly. And the food was delicious as always. Priced to please, its a great hometown diner.

We were headed home from our family camping trip and stumbled across this place and we are so glad we did! Our family ordered both breakfast and lunch and everything was fabulous! I had the flat iron steak with eggs and it was great. The wife had the catfish and eggs and OMG! The kids meals were very tasty as well! All of the staff were extremely friendly and we didnt wait for anything. We will definitely come back when in the area!!!

This establishment hold a special place in my heart. I went here religiously as a kid when it was The Italian Fisherman with my mom and aunt who has passed. I went for a killer hearty breakfast when I was on vacation and it was delicious! They were understaffed but now aways thats the new normal. That didnt cause anyone to have a bad attitude in fact it was some of the best service I had in Florida. Thank you for staying open when I know it was a struggle. You have a great thing going!!
First time eating here and my wife and I were not disappointed. Our server Collette was nice and friendly. Food was delicious and portions are good sized, prices are similar to other places. Would recommend checking this place out.
PSJ Diner is much more inviting. The food is right & with no hairs in it. People are nicer & not moody towards the customers. The wait staff listens to your order.
Somehow I had never been here before, when in this city I generally went to a different somewhat rude diner near by in same strip of shoppes. The staff at country cooking diner were attentive, friendly and maybe fun. I look forward to going again.

Country Diner ordered take out terrific meatloaf dinner with green beans, rice and gravy, and cornbread with choices of soups. The vegetable beef soup amazing. More than enough left for lunch tomorrow. Super clean inside and very nice staff.

My wife and I had lunch here as were staying at a nearby hotel to visit the Kennedy Space Center. You could tell this is a local favorite. The service was fast and the staff was super nice and friendly. I ordered a burger and fries and my wife had the BLT with onion rings. We both enjoyed the meal.

Terrible service. Was sat down and waited more than 15 minutes without anyone to come to table. Got up and left. Another women said good luck getting served in this place when we were going in. Food may be good cannot say since we were never served.

I would give them a 5 if just one time I could get a hot breakfast the potatoes homefries or hashbrowns are never hot. The food is always good and the service is pretty good other than the fact that I cant get a hot breakfast specifically the potatoes its not a bad place to eat...

Very clean. That is the 1 thing I noticed about this place the minute I walked in. I havent seen a restaurant this clean in a long time. The pancakes were delicious. Coffee was good. I wish you had oatmeal is my only complaint. I will be back

Great people, mediocre food. My burger was a premade perfectly round patty. The menu says cooked to order. I ordered med-medrare and clarified pink in the middle It was firm, not moist and brown all the way through. The home fries used to be made in house but my husbands were obviously frozen. They were coated (like fries).The service was friendly and spot on with condiments and drink refills. I hope when this pandemic subsides they return to food made in-house like the salmon burgers and meatloaf that disappeared from the menu.

I went for the first time yesterday. Our waitress Lucy was an absolute pleasure. Friendly, attentive and very welcoming. The food came out very quickly and everything was just as ordered. I got a veggie omelet with hash browns. The hash browns we cooked perfectly. The omelet was bursting with veggies and cheese. Each bite to was delicious. I highly recommend.

Friendly diner that was still busy with breakfast 🍳 @10 am on a midweek day. Food was tasty.The biscuits were flaky and hot, the gravy creamy smooth with just the right amount of what tasted like fresh cracked black pepper. Sausage patties were crispy edged sage goodness.Everyone was friendly and prompt.The only negative was a small table that I was seated had a bit of a short leg. Meaning that the table had as much coffee ☕ as I did from the first pour.New table and everything was fine. They are good folks... Stop by and visit, I think that you will like it.

On the whole, pretty tasty. We were there for supper on spur of the moment. Waitress was pleasant and prompt in taking our order. Iced tea was fresh (didnt have that musty taste that can happen when tea gets old). Speed of food arrival was satisfactory. Came out hot. The Reuben sandwich didnt have enough sauce. I could have asked for more but decided Id just go with what it had. Cashier was very friendly. Good service. Definitely comfort food. Not spectacular, but still pretty good.

Best Belgium Waffles EVER! You dont even need maple syrup (dipping the waffle though is nice too!). The waffles taste like Krispie Kream donuts! Yum! Excellent friendly staff!

Food is fine, everyone is nice. One server had her mask below her nose. When I left the restroom, a young man coming into the hallway was not wearing a mask at all. Not returning until this is over.
Awesome nice waitresses! Good homefries! Speedy service with plenty of eyes on the cup of coffee that was refilled several times. pull into this little strip mall make sure you turn to the right and go almost all the way to the end to the diner. Not the little hole in the wall next to the mail center. You know the place where you ship stuff from this is at the other end so dont get this Diner mixed up with the little diner.

The staff is polite and attentive. The floors and tables are clean. I love this place because they have a wide variety of comfort food, salads, sandwiches, seafood and meats for breakfast lunch and dinner. Nothing fancy but made well. I recomend their breakfast menu. Phenomenal French toast, sausage links and scrambled eggs.
