I was shocked how knowledgeable, professional and willing to answer any questions I had. Richard and Brian were very helpful when it came to explaining everything going on and didn’t push anything that didn’t necessarily need to be done! They were able to get my breaks worked on and an oil change. Not sure the technicians name that did all the work, but everyone was great! I am very impressed with this shop! The waiting area was clean with a lot of room to sit/wait and still social distance. Thank you for getting my vehicle back in shape.

Im always greeted with a smile and a willing helping hand for any service I need. They do their best to get me in and out in a timely manner. They always make sure to break down and explain to me whats going on with my car I love that. Any repairs or check ups on your car I highly recommend Brakes Plus on Pikes Peak if they cant do it the one Palmer Park is just as GREAT. Chad is an awesome amazing store manager. Grant and Marcial were just as wonderful and provided excellent service to me for me.

Front desk had great customer service. However, might be better to drop off your vehicle even if you schedule an appointment, youre gonna be waiting. Also, wouldnt recommend getting any mechanical work done here just due to their high prices. There was a significant difference between what they said it would cost me if they fixed it verses what it cost me to get it fixed from another business. Still came back for an alignment after all that because they were friendly regardless.

We have been using brakes plus for some time now a few years and every time they are super nice and reliable. I’ve only had minor issues and let me tell you chad is the guy he owns up to his mistakes and then fixes them with sincere apology and action. They get me In Promptly and know that I need my car at the end of the day. It’s nice to have a go to place and it’s definitely brakes plus off academy and piles peak. Great service! I came in for a wheel alignment and they took really great care of my car. Pricing was good and affordable! They even got me in earlier then my scheduled appointment!

I was able to get a day of appointment. They were quick and fair priced. They recommended a resurface of my rotors instead of charging me to buy new ones when not needed. Good advice and friendly

Chad was very helpful. It did take quite a while for them to get my alignment finished but they were pretty busy. Everyone who I talked with was very helpful friendly and polite. Will be back for whatever I need next.

While the service and pricing was great, punctuality did not seem to be of high importance. I dropped my car off at 8am for a scheduled appointment and was quoted 2-3 hours for service. understanding that this is a mechanic shop, I always like to include a few extra hours on a time estimate. However, when I called at 1230 to check in on progress, a full 4.5 hours after I dropped my car off for a SCHEDULED appointment, I was informed that my car “was not on the lift yet,” but was assured that it was stationed to go in next. Needless to say, this left me feeling as if I hadn’t called, my car would have been forgotten. However, my car was attended to in the next hour, and I was given a 2-3 hour window for completion, which was met.The price and service explanation were exceptional, but I cannot help to think that if I hadn’t called, my 8.5 hour wait would have been extended much longer. Given that I had to commit an entire day for a tire rotation and front brake pad replacement, I am not sure I will be return for service again.

They were very kind and honest. They told me straight up what I needed but didnt try to get me to do extra stuff or buy extra parts. I appreciate that!

Pads went out. Wife went to have new pads done. They 1000 bucks for rotors and pads. Rotors where good. I was a mechanic so I checked them. They said we cant do just pads. Since I work 60 hrs a week I think Ill do them myself if I get the time. Cause they wont get my money.

We travel the country in our camper van, and this is our favorite place to take it for maintenance. Always professional, always friendly, and always timely.

I stopped in expecting to be blown off to have my Headlight rebuilt replace. Chad and the rest of the crew were super professional and had my vehicle ready very quick. These guys are AWESOME.

Richard and Brian took great care of me at this location! I called in the morning in a pinch and they fit me in for same-day service. They explained all the work they would perform on the vehicle in great detail and the work was done quickly! No problems since, I will definitely return here.

They let me me know how long it would take to fix my car. Even though they were really busy they were able to finish fixing my car within two hours. They were considerate concerning my need of my car for work that day. I was able to get a reassembled replacement part lowering my cost.

The manager and grant was nice however we made a appointment and after almost 3 hours they where just getting started. Just getting breaks changed. Ended up leaving with out getting anything done. Will not come back.

Brian & his staff took real good care of our 2006 Hyundai Tucson. They replaced the rear struts & shocks & replaced a lower radiator hose, thus no more leaking. Would recommend this Brakes Plus on Pikes Peak & Academy in Colorado Springs. My husband & I real happy with what they did .

Wow what a place! I just moved here from Alabama and my brakes were making a terrible noise, I thought I was going to spend a bunch of money that I dont have... turns out all I needed was a flush and an adjustment! Grant, RJ and Brian are great guys, they wont tell you that you need something that you dont AND anything you do need they will take you out to the shop and show you your problem! I wish I could give 10 stars!

A competitor had just changed my oil two days prior while traveling on business up north. Something was leaking? I stopped at Brakes Plus and was fixed up. The competitor did a poor job and I regret using them. No charge to get me back on the road which earns my future business! Unfortunately I forgot the gentlemens name who took care of me. My battery died in the parking lot next to the store, they were kind enough to jump start my car and find what was wrong with it. Extremely kind and helpful staff, and most important, trustworthy.

I often get anxious to bring my vehicle anywhere alone, because I feel like people are always trying to upsell unnecessary services. However, everyone here was very straight forward, and didnt try to upsell anything I didnt need. I felt very comfortable, and well taken care of. If I encounter anymore problems with my car, I will be bringing it back here.

Inspected my car after I had changed tie rods, put a new zip tie on the boot and didnt charge me anything. Make sure you check their website for coupons and specials. recommend

Seth and his crew are a bunch stand up guys. They took good care of me and my vehicle, i had gone to a few other stores and was told they could do the job of alligning my 4x4 and when i went to get it done they said they could not do it. Mostly because they had no clue how to allign a front end with 1ton steering with heim joints, so after a few let downs and several tow trucks later i got connected with the Seth and the guys over at brakes plus on acadamy and pikes peak and they got the job done. Seth himself even came to my house to look at the rig before comitting to the job which was awsome. I would definately recomend anyone to take the vehicles to those guys, i will be back to them for future work.Thank you Seth i greatly appreciate you and what you all have done for me.

Got there at 12 and was told a couple of hours. Watched the employees hang out in the office more than they worked. Turned into 6 hours with constant excuses. I wont go back.

I received exactly the service the car needed on very short notice with no unnecessary up sells. Also, my wife went in there and got fair and accurate diagnostics despite not knowing much about cars, which is always praiseworthy in an industry with a terrible reputation for ripping off laymen. 10/10, will return.

Definitely don’t come in if you’re a parent with small kids. They take their SWEET time when it comes to customers I was waiting for almost 30 minutes before they even took my car into the shop when I had an appointment. And then took another hour and a half just for an inspection.

Brian is my go to! I wont go anywhere else unless its absolutely mandatory. Everyone at this location is super friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I am beyond thankful to have a shop i can trust.

I worked with Dave to get my oil changed and he was great!! 👍👍. He knew I was short in time and got it done quickly even while they were busy. When done, he informed me I had 2 issues, which they could address later and didn’t pressure me get them done now. That’s integrity! His team did a fantastic job with!!Thanks guys!!

If I could give this place a negative 5 star I would. Don’t take your car to this place unless you would like parts falling off such as your motor. Mechanic missed bolt tightening day at school. If he even went to one. Horrible experience.

DONT GO HERE FOR REPAIRS!!!They are completely unprofessional and disrespectful and trashed my car the fact that I asked for help and than put my life in danger they worked on it than lied the entire time definitely taking this to court if I could rate negative 5 stars I would! These guys did an amazing job helping me fix up my 2000 Accords suspension and alignment problems and even gave me a list of parts to take with me back to California that shows what parts I need for the rest of the work! I highly recommend this place as they’ve always had me out sooner then said and always were able to easily explain how and what I need to do for future reference!

I had an appointment and waited 1.5 hours to get told the appointment was just to wait and get seen. The manager was very rude. He was shorthanded and the entire time i just seen him sitting in his chair, i asked him why he isnt on the floor and he told me ive done my time and am not working on cars. If i could give this place ZERO stars i would. He wasted my time and he will waste yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
