I hate the fact that Firestone is one of the only tire place that are open on Sundays... this one guy brought his car in 6 hours ago (8:30am) and was told that it would be ready by 2:30pm and when he came in around the same time I did 3:45pm, they said that they were getting to his car.... they havent even touched his car yet. Aside from that gentlemans issue, I came in for a tire repair and when I looked into the bay and saw one of the techs spinning my tire smiling I already knew that they were going to come out and tell me that the tire is not repairable and try to have me buy a new tire. Sure enough, a guy walks out and tells me that the tire is not repairable and has a quote on a tire, I quickly said no... because 1: they dont sell Michelin tires and 2: dont tell me you have a tire already quoted for me when you dont know what Im looking for in a tire. If it wasnt for today being Sunday I wouldve never gone here. Tomorrow Im going to Discount Tires and getting 4 Michelin Crossclimate 2 tires.
Jim was the mechanic helping me today. Had a leak in my brake line. He found it and started asking questions about what I did with the vehicle, usual stuff. He was extremely rude while speaking to me and my wife that was standing next to me. He, as you can see, also cant wear a mask properly, 1 year after the mandate was enacted.
We were stuck on the side of the road with two flat tires because of metal on Interstate 25. Jacob and others at this Firestone helped us get 2 tires and get us back on the road to Chicago. Thanks guys—we appreciated it!
Received my vehicle, back with more issues... New issues. Taking it back because they said they would work with me if I brought it back in, so they good resolve the issues.They charged me for new windshield wiper blades, and Did not even remember to put them on after I told them I was about to take a trip, and its raining today...
Absolute worst experience ever. We had an appointment at 9 am to get my trucks oil changed. After being told it would be done at 10, I called, and was told it now wouldn’t be done until noon, when I showed up to the shop at noon, it had just been taken back and put on a lift, after waiting in the lobby for another hour and a half, I looked out at my truck to find that EVERYONE in the shop was standing around talking, and no one was working on my vehicle. I got my truck back 4 hours after the time I was quoted, due to lazy negligent disrespectful staff. Will never be using this facility again.
In dire need of brakes and possibly rotors. Made a reservation for the S Academy Blvd. Firestone and risked driving there metal on metal. I arrived 20 min early for my appointment but when I showed the boy behind the counter my reservation number he turned to an older man who then told me Im sorry we didnt see your reservation so we sent our brake people home? Wed be happy to schedule you for another day. Im sorry but risking myself just to bring it to you once and being turned away why would I want to do it again. There are plenty of other companies that stand by their word and get the work done when they say they will
I will never use firestone again. I requested an appt to get my window fixed on my car and I called to confirm it. Guy I spoke to was very rude and told me they arent accepting appts online. I then get an email confirming my appt for a day did mot request. They did not try to contact me at all to see if that was a good day and time for me which was not as I have work that day. My fiance than calls them to cancel my appt and they tell him that they can get it fixed today. Firestone has lost my business.

Had an appointment at 3pm. 1 1/2 hrs later was told that they lost 3 tech and only had 3 tech working. 2 hrs 45 min later my car was done for its oil change but no tire rotation done. This was the longest wait I ever had at this location.
They did a good job on my alignment. As for the air conditioner- check your fuses before you spend a lot of money getting it fixed

This franchise has gone downhill drastically over the years. I was almost charged for a vehicle inspection I didnt ask for. I was told a part I needed desperately and my primary reason for going in (headlight bulb) would be in the next day. They never called to say it arrived so I went somewhere else. I will probably only go back in for my lifetime services now on. I was a lifelong customer but Im done.
When I walked into this store, for a moment I thought maybe the pandemic was over. Tim, who was behind the counter, wasnt wearing a mask and put one on when I walked up. I could see his nose and upper lip so that was pointless. There was a woman without a mask talking on her phone in the waiting area and none of the employees told her to put a mask on. None of the mechanics wore masks in and out of the vehicles and yet they were coming up front and engaging with customers in the garage. Jake walked up front, put on a mask after a minute but he too was letting his nose hang out. Whats the point of wearing it if youre not going to wear it properly??? If you dont want to wear a mask on your own time, great. Do you. But when youre a business, the expectation is you abide by the state mandate and wear a mask to keep your customers safe. There was one measly bottle of hand sanitizer in the store and it was only pulled out when I asked if they had Apple Pay. The store advertises that theyre doing so much to protect customers and employees but in fact they were doing nothing. I will not be returning to this location.

We used this shop for our 2015 Jeep Cherokee because it had Firestone Destination tires. First few times were ok. The last 2 visits “destroyed” the Lug Nuts when they tightenedthem. Had to replace them myself. The last recent visit for rotating the tires resulted in excessive road noise on the tires. Tires are directional with arrows. Mechanics apparently do not know that?? They also stated that Destination tires are hard to get? We Just replaced them with new Nokia’s A/T tires. Not as expensive and are super quiet.
I was traveling from out of the state went here to get an oil change done they honored my discount coupon and took care of me real quick very knowledgeable staff

Went in to have two tires and a starter replaced. When I made my appointment online, they never called or emailed to confirm or deny/reschedule it until I came in at the scheduled time. They schedule for the next day and I come in (told them I normally get off work at around 4, so the appointment was somehow scheduled for 4). They didnt know how to push start the vehicle, and when they ran their tests, I was told the alternator and starter were great, but the battery was bad. They didnt even have the battery to replace it. Went to Advanced Auto up the street, replaced the battery myself, and what do ya know, the car still wont start up without push starting. Thankfully, Advanced let me swap the batteries again for a full refund after testing my old (current) battery and finding out it was in great condition, as I had expected. A couple days later, I replaced the starter, and wouldnt you know it!? The car starts up immediately and with complete ease. Then today, I was inspecting the vehicle and found out the mechanics neglected to put one of the lugnuts on one of the tires they replaced and left it in the center console. I was fine not leaving any bad reviews or anything as I know these kind of companies can be shady to get more business, but that last part is complete negligence and endangerment. The tires so far seem fine, but honestly, myself having no training as a mechanic could do a better job.
Stopped by to get new tires. They couldnt get us in at that time but made an appointment for us to come back at 1pm. Went back and Dave got us in. Granted it wasnt at 1 as they were running late but he took care of us personally. We absolutely love the new tires and the service they offer. Thank you.
Edit 12/30/19Ive been to this Firestone many times since I moved here 6 months ago. This is hands down the best place to take your car. The workers are friendly and professional. I highly recommend this Firestone.Great service. You should make an appointment so you get out quicker but my walk-in went well.

I went in to get my air conditioner checked since it was blowing hot these people are honest ! They got my air conditioner blowing ice cold again !! Jake was awesome even when it got really busy he stayed right on top of his job and was extremely polite ! Everyone there was super friendly I will be going back here for all my car needs from now on!
So much cheaper for brakes and oil change than anywhere in town. They are also very good at figuring out issues you do not know about. I have ways done research if they tell me there is an issue and they have always been right. They do not do the usual trying to push a bunch of unnecessary repairs on you. Top notch

Firestone can repair almost anything on your car. Expect to pay for that professional service-they are not shade tree mechanics. They guarantee all their work and are always professional. They replaced an engine in my 97 Camry and I am thrilled with the workmanship and the after service guarantees. The new managers name was Chris and he is the sum of friendliness and professionalism. I am glad to have my car care in their hands.Every manager offers the same degree of professionalism. A very honest Firestone location. VERY different from my experience in San Antonio,
If I could give negative rating I would. Wife drove 2 day old car that had a nail in the tire and they told her tire was ruined and needed to be replaced. Gave her cost of 275.00. 80 more than Discount quoted. We took it to Discount and the nail was barley in the tire and needed Minor repair. When I called Manager at this location he laughed it off and said we can go any where we choose. RIP OFF PLACE NEVER USE.

Had our tires rotated at another business and they messed up the TPS that tracks tire pressure. We spoke with James, the Store Manager on S Academy. He said no problem, walked around the car with a device that did a wireless reset of the system and did a physical inspection of all the tires. They were quick, courteous and did it for free. Great folks.
So had my ball joint break and my axle broke. Had the car towed to this location. I am not from here but from st louis. They did everything to make sure my car was fixed correctly and did it that day! The manager james was awesome and stayed extra just to make sure my car was done as I am in a time crunch. Jacob was also very awesome. As he was fixing the car we found the transmission had issues and james paid for it to be towed to best auto. They have been awesome they helped us out so much. I highly recommend them. I do not write reviews for places as this is my first and I swear they had no reason to just help us as they did but they did. The fear of breaking down out of state and not knowing whats gonna happen and then turning around and getting awesome service. I wish I could give more stars.

Never ever done a review before but Jim blew my mind while my girlfriends car was getting done we went off to go do some errands and I cracked my oil pan I showed up and he said it wouldn’t be done until Monday next thing you know he came back and said we are going to get it done tonight about 45 minutes later my car was good as new he talked with my fiancé and I and made us feel at home and even joked with me to get my mind off my car because he knew I was stressing out! Jim If I could give you 10 stars if I would your a life saver!!!
My water pump went out at the worst possible time. I called David (service mgr.) and told him my situation.He was like what you hope and need in this type situation, Professional & Helpful. He and his staff went overboard to make this experience as convenient for me as possible. Made me glad I chose Firestone.Thanks for the help, great job.
I scheduled online for an appointment at 2, when I got there I was told it was a 2 hour wait. Not sure of the purpose of scheduling and appointment if they cant adhere to it. When I arrived I was also told there was one more vehicle in front of me, yet I saw 4 more go before me. I went for an alignment, yet they were under the hood checking for ways to make money on upsell services. When the guy called to upsell me he said they had done their initial inspection and had to out the truck back on the lift yet again. He lied to me and my truck was infact done. Not very pleased with their poor service and upsell tactics.

Had a flat tire on a Sunday. Called around noon and the manager was courteous enough to take me and patch up my tire that same afternoon. Cant say the same thing of another Firestone I called before this one. That other Firestone made me feel like they were more interested in the current customers who were going to pay them and (maybe) I could be in the end [of the line] and if they could get to me then they would. To that other Firestone, I say this, a little more empathy on your part can go along way to retaining customer loyalty and your company image. If it wasnt for the way I was treated by the second Firestone, you might of lost a customer forever. I will, from now on, only recommend the one Firestone that came through for me that day.
Just got an alignment done at this location after doing some work to my truck. Terry was on point and did everything properly taking the time to recheck his work. Alignments are only as good as the person performing the work. The staff was polite and facilities very clean. Thanks guys!
Excellent service. Called yesterday and tires were ordered and appointment made for today. Upon arrival and inspection it was noted that inner tire rod had play in it. Informed them that Firestone had just replaced a few month back. No issue, part ordered and replaced under warranty. Staff was friendly and helpful and had me in and out within 2 hours. My truck is riding like a dream once again!!
I honestly never review places but I had such a pleasurable experience today while being helped by Adam at the front desk.they were able to not only address all the issues on my vehicle which there were several but they were able to get it done in a timely manner extremely under my budget. I would highly recommend the shop to anybody who needs help with anything related to their car. Adam really went above and beyond to make sure that I was taking care of and exactly what needed to be done was done properly.
My wife and I were stranded with two flat tires from a sign that fell on the highway. When we were towed to Firestone Luke and Tim had a good attitude and were very helpful in getting us back on the road. If they would of had a different tire for my truck I would give them a 5 star rating. Nice people to deal with.
I went in for a simple oil change that was scheduled in their system, and ended up staying there for almost 2 and a half hours. Come to find out a worker had assumed that i wanted to fix everything on my truck, realighn my tires and ran a full diagnostics on my car, the fixes could have cost me well over 158$. (which i informed him, i couldnt afford)..(i let the guy know that all i wanted, was just an oil change). I ended up late for work, (when all i required was the oil change) and i wouldnt suggest this place to my friends. I spoke with a VERY nice gentleman at the counter and he got everything sorted out and sent me on my way. Customer service was a bit mixed up and people seemed to be getting irritated with the wait. Especially when certain things were being done that were completely unnecessary, and workers seemed to be visually irritated by any customers.
Ive now been to this Firestone location 3 times in the last few months for slow leaking tires. We live where new houses are being built and lots of construction. Im so thankful to the staff for fitting me into the schedule and taking care of my tire. The staff is courteous and kind. Cant thank them enough!
Just moved here and came in to put new snow tires on my Audi. First of all I used to work in a dealership this is maybe an hour and a half job going slow, 3 hours go by I call them and ask whats up, they say oh yeah theres 1 tire left okay. I wait 45 minutes and I show up, and sure enough they only have ONE completed, blatantly lied to me. Its now almost 4 hours and I wait another 45 minutes and now its finally completed. Almost 5 hours for a tire replacing. And really did not seem to care at all. Absurdly terrible service and to top it off they didnt fill up my tires correctly, every single one had a different reading. Do not go to this place for tire services. The only helpful person was Cindy and thats it.
This place is hit and miss. They usually treat my wife and I really well... I just wish they treated our cars the same. My last oil change was a botched job. I was down half a quart and they left some of the protective items (seat covers and paper floor mats) in the car when they were done. Sometimes they dont do the inspection, other times they go above and beyond.
Good price and very fast work. Very impressed how much they care with this hard times (covid 19).

Steve Bacon is the most professional store manager I have ever met. He needs a lesson on how to speak to people properly as well as what Customer Service actually means! If I didnt pay for a lifetime warranty Id never return. The store on N Acadmey was super apologetic and provided the area managers contact information. Grow up Steve and treat people right.
I went there to get a hole fixed on my tire, they did that but they failed to inspect the rest of the tire and I still have a nail in it. I wont be going back because 20 bucks for a small patch repair is insane. Make sure if you go there to have any repairs to your tire double check to make sure they double checked so you dont end up returning and making trips wasting your time.

I only got one name (Jason) but also a gentleman there with a very impressive ZZ Top beard haha...they were WONDERFUL! I had some TPMS/low air issues and they were able to help me and answer my questions, in a respectful manner were all around great to talk to! Will for sure be back!
I was hesitant to go here because of some previous poor reviews, but they helped me out and actually saved me some hassle.
We came from Iowa, we ended up sliding off of a side of the road and hitting a big mound in the mountains they fixed our tire right up my husband had told them that he thought that it was a slow leak and he told us he was going to look at it really close to make sure it wasnt serious. In about 45 minutes and 20 dollars later we were heading back to Iowa. Staff was very nice.
I would not recommend this location. I was having a problem with my Jeep and I went to OReilys Auto to get error codes for free. I had an idea of what was wrong with my Jeep but needed a diagnostic test to try to determine what could possibly be wrong. I made an appointment at this location and brought in my Jeep and told them what my codes were. Before going down there I spoke to a manager or assistant manager on the phone and he told me all the different things they would do to test it out to see if they could figure out what was wrong. I was there less than 30 minutes and they did get my Jeep in quickly but I never saw them doing anything except opening my drivers door. I never saw them open my hood or take it for a test drive. I never really even saw the mechanic around my car more than once. They were supposed to do all kinds of testing. Im a curious customer and like to watch through the window when I can. So off and on I was watching through the window. When they were done they gave me the same codes I had already given them plus one extra and charged me over $100. At that moment I was in shock but I also felt cheated but I didnt want to make a scene. I was so upset about the information and it was more than likely a major issue as my codes gave different issues that it could be. As the days went on I thought about it and it bothered me that I didnt see them really doing any testing on my vehicle like they told me they were going to do over the phone. I sent them a letter with my contact information along with a copy of my paperwork letting them know I felt cheated and I thought I deserve to get my money back. I gave them time for a response which I did not get. I did not even get a call or an apology or a refund. The only testing I believe that they did was for the codes they did not do any further testing as they said they were going to for the price I paid.
Do not go here for anything! I made an appointment over a week ago to put new tires on my car. Its now two hours later, they still arent done with a simple job. Not to mention their quote is $60 more than when we spoke on the phone. This is ridiculous I will never waste my time or money here ever again!
I went five times to fix my tire because was liking air, I bought 4 tires plus warranty, installation, total over $800 dollars, and Id need to fix my tire, downtown store and academy store but i never received attention 5 times, they said next day, but never happened, I will never buy anything from this company any more...
They installed an entirely new coolant system on our vehicle for now what looks like no reason. Brought it in with heavy coolant leak and overheating. Seemed proud of their diagnosis that it was just a torn hose or something. Said parts would be in tmrw after looking at it for 20 minutes. Call us and say they found another leak. Replaced entire cooling system. Got the car back and problem didnt change. Brought it back to the store and manager says its a blown head gasket. How a team of professionals could miss something that major is concerning. Best part is, right before that diagnosis, the manager said the original radiator and water pump passed a pressure test. yet they put the new parts in knowing the original parts worked. Crooks. Screwing over a soldier and his family. My uncle was a head mechanic at a Ford dealership for years and said theres almost no way this shop wouldnt have known it was a blown gasket almost immediately if they had driven the car or did proper diagnostics on the vehicle.

Lots of bad reviews. I havent noticed anything negative about the place at all. Customer area is clean. Luke took amazing care of my family vehicle. I was no longer upset I had purchased bad tires. No fault of any shop it was just bad tires. They made it right. Never had a negative experience at this location.
I was happy to see you could set an appointment. The website says to do this to avoid long waits. When I received a call to confirm my appointment they said it would take 3 hours to replace my tires. 3 HOURS? I wonder how long it takes if you don’t make an appointment. I went to another tire store, who got me in and out in less than an hour...without an appointment.
I took my vehicle here and had it inspected. They told me my car just needed spark plugs. I drove away thinking they had resolved the issue with the car and ended up having to take it somewhere else. Turns out they failed to see over $2000 of repairs that needed to be done. Do not get your vehicle checked out here unless it’s something simple. The list of things that was actually wrong with my vehicle was shocking and I cannot believe that they missed all of it. They didn’t even mention that my brakes were 80% worn.I called them a few days after they inspected it and asked them why my vehicle was still acting the same. The guy on the phone said that the noises were normal.Never again.
I had an appointment scheduled at 4 P.M. for an oil change and tire rotation. It took them an hour to get my vehicle in the bay. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if you get it in when you can. An appointment should mean that a Bay and a tech is available to work on my vehicle otherwise why would you be able to schedule an appointment. It should not take 2 hours and 20 minutes to do an oil change and tire rotation. This is not the first time this has occurred but it will be the last. I would rather pay the Ford Dealership prices than have my time wasted for a 45 minute job.

Pathetic. Nice staff though. Had them replace a transmission,clutch and couple other small jobs. Almost a month and $4k later, I finally got it back. Skip ahead to weeks to today. Car wont go into gear I broke down on the side of a busy road. Whatever they did, they didnt do it right. District manager is contacting me in the next 48 hrs. Youd be better off paying a tweaker to work on your vehicle
I do not recommend this place for the reasons #1 I do not feel all trust worthy that they truly repair or fix what they should #2 they call you and tell you that your vehicle is ready and its not, i waited 1 and a half hours #3 they dont tell you they will take your car right away they will let you sit and wait for a while before thy actually take in your car . save your time and money
My go-to place for alignments... and I live in Pueblo so I drive up to the Springs to get the best alignment in Colorado. Lifetime alignment is so worth it for a long term car owner like me. Mechanic work? I do that myself or get an independent mechanic but for suspension these guys know their stuff!
I initially chose the south academy location because it’s so close to my house, but I continue coming here because the staff is so incredible. I never feel overcharged and I have never had an issue with any work that’s been done on my vehicles. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
Short story- dont go here unless youre willing to wait around and not even get what you asked for!Yesterday I made an appointment online to get my oil changed. I went in and the staff tried to tell me that he didnt see my appointment in the computer. When I pulled it up on my phone, he said that they were short 3 staff. He rescheduled me for today and gave me a 4.84$ discount. I understand when staff call in sick so that was no big deal. I go in today and the staff takes me keys. My vehicle is visible from where I was sitting. After an hour of waiting they still hadnt taken my vehicle in the back. I asked how much longer it was going to take and the guy looked at me stupidly like he forgot I was there. 25 min later he brought me the keys and didnt even apologize about the wait. To top it off they forgot to pull the codes for me and said that the mechanic was trying to hurry because I was waiting. Then he changed his story, saying that the code reader was broken. Not professional at all. Wont go here again!
I had originally posted: Best Firestone Ever! and gave them 5 stars.However, I had an interesting experience yesterday.If this were anybody else they probably would have freaked out and immediately gave these guys one Star.I had an appointment for new tires and an alignment. They have been servicing my 3+ vehicles for the past year and I had zero issues with this store. I liked going there because they have always done the job right and performed expertly in customer service. Until yesterday. It took 3 hours for my vehicle to get new tires put on it and they attempted to complete an alignment even though I had a scheduled appointment. The vehicle I had serviced is unique. There excuse was they did not have a qualified technician available to do the alignment. Once again, I had a scheduled appointment and they know my vehicles well. They asked me to come back the next day when someone who could do the alignment would be available. I went back the next day and they said they could not do it because no one was available to do the alignment…At this point in time I have wasted 4 hours of my time and I had to take off work to try it get this done… twice.I called back to the store and talked to the person who oversaw the shop for that shift. He has always been a nice guy and knows me ‘or at least’ my vehicles. The other staff members that I have interacted with even through this ordeal were all very professional and accommodating.However, I later called back to try to schedule a second appointment and my third visit to try and get this all taken care of fixed. I sat on hold for 10 minutes. While I was on hold, I got to looking at the wheels and one of the rear wheels was on front and one of the front wheels was rear. Granted it’s a little hard to see this as there is only a difference of recess ‘lip; of about ½ an inch between the front and rear and the tires are the exact same size front and back... but there is a difference. I hung up after 10 minutes and decided to that I am done with this store. I will go to one of the other stores and have my alignment completed and the tires switched around to where they are correct.It seems like there is a tremendous lack of organization that has only started recently at this location.I personally feel like the focus was on the new sale ‘the tires’ and not the already paid for yearly alignment. So, focus is on sales and not the of quality of work or scheduling the correct people to be available. Service goes hand in hand with sales. Im not just paying for tires or an alignment Im paying for the service of getting my vehicle done correctly when it is scheduled to be done. I will take my money elsewhere from now on. I have spent a pretty good amount of my money for the basic services that I trust places like this to provide and I was happy up until now.I have always been and will always be a very accommodating customer and I do understand how busy all these people are in their day to day work. I have been there, and stuff like this is something happens. You cannot always get it right. I just feel like this store has been mismanaged or they need more people to get the job done.
David and Bryson were fantastic, they worked fast did a great job. Me on my way home which is over two hours away and even stayed late to do so!!
Went in to replace 2 tires. When I picked it up they told me both brake lights were out and my battery was almost dead. My husband followed me up there to drop it off to have the tires done and both brake light were working! My battery was working just fine prior to the visit. Came home replaced the brake bulbs and tested all fuses but can not fix the brake lights. 20 minutes after returning home my battery will not even jump start!! We cannot figure out what they did but they messed it up somehow!! NEVER AGAIN!!
I purchased new tires at another Firestone location in Colorado Springs (Cascade & Bijou)3 months ago. Excellent customer service.I was told I colud get air at any location. Today I went to the S. Academy location and after being told to pull up to bay #2 and someone would help me.After waiting 15 minutes, I callled the store from my car to remind them I was waiting!Needless to say, there was a gentleman working in that bay and never said a word to me even though he made direct eye contact with me several times...Even if an emergency arises, I will never return to that location!EVER...#poor#customer#service at its best
We have been faithful to this location. All the staff has been super helpful, there have been some hiccups but nothing that wasnt easily fixed.

Giving one star because of the wait time, completely unfair prices ( had the same repair done for half price at brakes plus). Most importantly, they told us we could safely go back on the road. However, about 50 miles down the interstate, our tire was shredded to bits. This could have been much worse than it was. This visit is the reason some people dont trust auto shops.
My husband and I, have been loyal customers of Firestone for more than 20 years; however, for the past ten years we have experience a total lack of honesty in our dealings with this company, which is supposed to be the founding principle of Firestone. Without going through all of the details of our experience, suffice it to say, we dont recommend others do business with this company!
Did a great job on my 2000 Ford explorer
Called early in the morning to schedule an tire alignment and they put me in for 3pm swearing up and down it wouldnt be a problem to get it done same day. I come in 15 minutes early and they tell me they cant do it the same day but they can get me in at their downtown shop. They call, tell me its all squared away, let me drive all the way downtown and that shop says they cant do it that day or the next.
It was an emergency so I did not read reviews and instead went to the closest repair shop. Big mistake. I understand they were busy, but it took over 3 hours to change one tire that had popped. Just sell me the tire and Ill change it myself. Ill try my luck at Les Schwab next time.
Got an oil change for a reasonable price. They let me know what other issues my car had but didnt pressure me into purchasing anything more than I wanted.
Ive have been a customer for years and never had any issues until recently.I had my car taken in for a tune-up. I was informed that my car would be done by a certain time frame, it wasnt. No one bothered to give me a call to tell me itd take 5 hours longer than planned.After my tune up, my car started making a funny noise. I went by the shop to see if they would check it out and I was told that they couldnt look at it til the following days to come.Not happy with that response, I drove to Mikens Auto Shop on Austin Bluffs and Academy and it took them 5 minutes to look at my car. Turns out not only does FIRESTONE have crappy service, they also didnt put my car back together correctly after they had completed the tune-up.My suggestion dont waste your time with Firestone. I would highly recommend Mikens Auto Shop instead!
I made a noon appointment for 2 tires and let them know I needed to be out of there by 2:30pm to go to work. They got the tires on my car quickly, in less than an hour, but we had a miscommunication and the wrong tire was changed. I came back inside and let the gentleman who checked me out know about that. I assume he was the manager, because he immediately offered to fix the mistake by putting a 3rd tire on my car for free. I thought they would just put the old tire back on, so I was very happy with the customer service I received. It was annoying to have to wait for about another 20 minutes, but the free tire more than made up for that!
Got the oil on my car changed here. They didnt put the filter in correctly, and it slowly leaks oil out for a week before noticing. Unfortunately, I was on a business trip at the time and this left me stranded in Denver when I came back. Had to go back to the shop twice to get everything fixed properly, but they did not give me any sort of hassle when returning and explaining the situation. They were decent people, but I wont be going back.
I have been waiting 3hrs, for four tires to be put on my car. I was told I would have to wait 1hr.
I spent $800 on a set of tires for my VW and was told I needed an alignment. The car tracked straight and true before going in, but I figured I would let them do it... I left the parking lot and the steering wheel was turned sideways and banked HARD to the left when I let go of the wheel. I went straight back and they straightened out the wheel. I had to take it to VW to fix their alignment.
I got a flat tire and they ordered me a tire that day. It was in on time. And I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Very friendly service. I will go back here.
The man said my tire with a small nail was beyond repair, tried to sell me Firestone model that has a recall. Then scrambled to try to sell me any single tire. Went up the road to Goodyear and they fixed it promptly for free.
