Big John was extremely helpful with helping us choose a carpet that was the right fit all around. The installers were very through and polite. The house looks great now and it was all done quickly and was affordable.

The customer service was horrible. Took my rug there to get a piece cut out and edged. Was told it takes 2-3weeks. She said she will call when doneWaited 2 months. Finally went there, was told he is just working on it, will be done in 5 min. He brought it out it was cut but not bound. I came back little while later the rug was done. This guy asked if he can help me, did not get up to give me a hand just ignored me. Finally a young man came and helped.I guess they didnt make enough money on this so I didnt deserve attention.Will not go back.

I was there for at least ten minutes and nobody said one word to me. I do now take into consideration that they were dealing with a situation but we all are really. Because I appreciated their response I will consider purchasing some flooring from them when I do my next project. The prices seemed quite competitive. I will continue to update if I do.

Pros- 1star because they let me return unused flooring that I purchased but couldn’t have installed, that was nice.Cons- My salesperson no called no showed our measuring appointment. Took multiple calls/text to get him to come back the next day. The next day when he did show up it was after the 30 min appointment. My install appointment window was 8:30-9am and the installer didn’t arrive until after 10 am. And when they did get here they rescheduled because of the ground was wet outside, apparently this made it so they couldn’t cut the carpet...Business must be booming because I did not get the impression they needed or wanted my money. I don’t think I will be using them again.Edit: I would like to update my review to 0 stars. Not only did they waste a bunch of my time they also can’t even own up to their mistakes. I added to my review photos of the dry roads with the installers truck in the background. I have already showed these pictures to my salesman, he apologized profusely and told me he could only go by what the installer said. I did reschedule for the next day because that’s the soonest he said he could have someone out was the next day, despite me explaining how urgent my situation was. After all this I did come back to cancel, but that is because I went home and checked the weather and realized that it is supposed to snow/ rain for the next couple days. The appt was almost guaranteed to be rescheduled for a third time. I told the salesman this!! All of this inconvenience and not even a discount was offered. If you dispute or question any thing in my review, please let me know because I have photos, texts, and home security footage to confirm everything I wrote.

The commercials are great...its what got us checking out their inventory and making renovation list. They cant be beat in prices and amount of stock. They have a handy tool to help with measurements. 😎😎😎 Awesome😁😁😁

After reading the last review and comparing it to my problems with them NOTHING has changed I will even bet angi was the one who replied to the before mentioned review we me and my son went there to purchase carpet for 3 rooms that are 30 feet in length and 10 1/2 wide and 2 sets of stairs and a large hall way…well we went in stood around for about 15 minutes then was approached by angi who was with us for about five minutes then went to get us some samples and then disappeared waited around for a good 30 minutes she never came back,so we left…days before this they did send Kevin (I think)out to the house for measurements decided to give them a 2nd try so went back a few days later and this time I was greeted by a younger gentleman who was pushing a vacuum cleaner when we walked in….he took us around cut up the samples we wanted and identified them by name and priced them out for us great job from him…(only reason the place got that many stars)so after making a decision on which carpet we wanted I went back up to see what the cost would be spoke with Angie (again)showed her what we wanted and she said she would find out paperwork/measurements and would give us a call on what the price would be(did not understand why she could not just give me a price while I was in the store right then)….so went home waited 4-5 days and no phone call so I decided to call them…guess who I got to talk to …yup ..angi again…gave her me name explained how we had been waiting for her to call me back…..so I am calling her….well it’s been 2weeks since that phone call and still no phone call back….thought about calling and asking for an owner but something tells me I would get ….yup angi…..so if your gonna shop here good luck….as for me long past time to go somewhere else……Donald Chandler

I had a wonderful experience shopping. The sales rep John was very helpful and kind. I made my choices and set an appointment for Eric to come to my home to measure. I left work early to meet him at 5:30. When I called to confirm, I was told 5:30-6:30 window, which I thought was reasonable. I received a phone call from Eric at 5:40 that he was on his way. Then another phone call at 6:15 saying he was on his way and would arrive in ten minutes. Then, another call from the store at 6:25 that Eric canceled appointment. I explained that Eric confirmed he was on his way and I was expecting him shortly. He told me to call in the morning if Eric did not show up to reschedule. I attempted to call Eric and sent text messages as I was concerned. He did not answer the phone or reply to text. He never showed up and I never received an apology or explanation. I recommend L&L Flooring (Lumber Liquidators).

What a great experience!! Eric helped me out, was quick and to the point. Scheduled a free consultation and an install two days later and the price was great. Conrad and his install team were quick, courteous and did a fantastic job laying the carpet. I will definitely be coming back with more business!

Im only giving 5 stars do to a wonderful lady named Angie that stepped in to actually help me when I had an emergency ! The two guys that were there didnt even greet when coming in the door 👎 as well I asked one guy just for a little piece of rug and he blew me off, over and over ! 👎 so thats when Angie stepped in and offered the help ! she literally went out of her way and got the fork lift, which one of the non busy guys could have done ! Anyway I recommend anyone to Angie, she has the best customer service and got me what I needed ! 👍

Horrible, horrible, horrible. I had the misfortune of dealing with Angie. She acted like she was doing me a favor to allow me to hire or not hire her. Told me sheet vinyl was the most cost effective method of flooring for my house and then quoted me something different! When I asked her to revise to what we discussed she told me it was going to cost me twice as much! When I asked her why she told me it was going to be more cost effective she told me I had an attitude and I was not going to be satisfied. I just want an honest company who wont try to rip me off! Going somewhere else. They were way overpriced anyway. Gave one star because they did actually take the time to quote the job!

A gentleman named Eric came to my home and installed carpet in my basement, he was courteous on time and did a great job, I don’t know about their customer service in store, but this gentleman did a fine job, thank you.

Currently under a state mandate to wear masks in public, I was shocked to see a worker in this store not wearing a mask. When I requested that he wear one, he went to get one and put it on...under his nose.Shows their lack of care or concern for their customers. Dont want them in my house. Keep your germs to yourself.Avoid this place if you have any risk factors; they do not care what they could potentially spread to you.

Let me just say THANK YOU for great customer service! My precious dog chewed up a part of our carpet so I was looking all over town for just a small patch to fix it. I first stopped at Academy Carpet Company. They were nothing but rude and were not interested in helping me. I drove down the road and decided to stop here. Called multiple times for a quote, spoke with a young lady twice on getting a quote for almost 200 yards installed and she got all the information down and said would call me back(never did) so I called a half day later and she answered and said she was busy but going to her desk as we speak and get me a quote and call me back(never did) wow not a way to keep Business as I also wanted to get tile work done on top of that install.. Bad Business recommendation would be to at least call potential customers back that want to spend 8-10k in your store.I saw your response and all it takes is a 1min phone call. Your company has my number and name if you would like to call and give a quote.

We recently finished our basement and had a tight turn around time for carpet install. After comparing several different places carpet clearance warehouse had the best selection and pricing. Angie was great to work with and carpet was installed 3 days after purchase. The installers were delayed due to truck issues but made sure to let me know and worked until after 6 pm to get the job done. Everyone was professional and courteous. Would definitely recommend Carpet Clearance Warehouse to anyone.

I needed carpet installed in my new house ASAP and Lowes could not get it installed for 4 weeks, which they never told me until I was about to pay for the carpet. I contacted Carpet Clearance and Kevin came out that same day to measure, and I picked out my carpet from their vast selection and my carpet will be installed Tues 10/10/17. I was impressed with their great customer service and prompt installation. Forget about the large box stores. Go see Kevin at Carpet Clearance Warehouse they have great prices and a lot better customer service.

After a difference in opinion getting carpet from Home Depot, my husband and I shopped here for carpet. The guy who talked to us in the store seemed knowledgeable and upfront, so we scheduled a measurement. The first day we scheduled the measurement for, the guy who was supposed to come between 5-6 PM never showed, and called us after 5:30 to reschedule. He told us that even though the next day was his day off, he’d come over and measure at 5 PM to get it done. My husband took off work early both days to meet this person at our home and the following day, no one ever showed up and never called. We attempted calling the measurement person, but of course they didn’t answer so now we’re going to have to shop around yet again for someone else to install our carpet. This place has lost our business and I find it unprofessional and disrespectful that they couldn’t even show up to my home for a simple measurement.

On 12/10/17 I called a few places for carpet replacement estimates. I needed my carpet replaced before 12/14/17. Jeremy of Carpet Clearance Warehouse said they could do it 12/13/17. The cost estimate was in the same ballpark as the other places; Carpet Clearance Warehouse got my business because of how quickly they were able to do it. On 12/11/17 Clay of Carpet Clearance Warehouse measured the room, took payment from my husband (a few hundred more than the estimate), and told him they could not replace it until 12/15/17. When I heard about it later, and my husband called them again, like magic we were back on for 12/13. The replacement was done as scheduled. The new carpet is not wall to wall, but baseboard to baseboard, or not quite making it to the baseboard in some places with visible gaps, big enough for food crumbs or small toys to eventually get lost in. See pictures. We also were pricking our feet on the tacks at the thresholds until we hammered them down ourselves. 1 star for speed overshadowed by dishonesty and low quality.Update 3/25/18 in response to owner below, no, someone was in and out in 20 minutes to stretch the carpet and I couldnt tell anything had been done at all, except where they tossed in a loose 1 scrap of carpet into one of the gaps in the corners. I could have photographed it again, but no one would be able to tell before from after.

Not overly helpful at the store, or on the phone. I did purchase laminate flooring and they “accidentally” sold to someone else, so I had to wait for an extra week for install. Also Didn’t include transition pieces in the estimate so I had to go pick those up myself the day of the install. Promised to give me a bound rug for the mistake but didn’t follow through with that promise. Instead gave me an extra piece of carpeting for a Throw rug. Install was done well but that was a subcontractor. Won’t go back for the rest of my flooring needs.

These guys are great. I just bought a remnant for the front door area, it was looking really bad, the trimmed it for me and I just love it, it was premium grade carpet and is holding up very well at my front door. With 8 of us in and out 😊

When I first walked in and told them that I needed carpet for a 10 by 12 room they lost interest in me because they figured they wouldnt get that big of a commission. Once I picked out the carpet that I but I wanted I couldnt really see it and ask them to move the bolt that was above it so I could see it and they told me no theres nobody here that can do that. I gave them the inches of the room that I needed carpeted and he told me that they had to go out and measure my room. I told him that was fine and to please bring a sample of the carpet once they get somebody in there with that can drive a forklift and move the bolt that was above it he informed me that that wasnt a possibility. After I explained to him that without a sample of that carpet theres no way I was going to put out that much money for the carpet he finally realize he could go up and move the bolt himself. Well today they came out and measure the room so we went in to pay for the carpet thinking that were only going to spend $259 when we got in there the final bill was $377. When I asked him to break that down for me he told me that the room was measured at 12 by 12 I told him no it is 117 inches by 140 inches which comes out to an approximately a 10 by 12 room and it was only 120 square feet instead of 140 square feet he was trying to charge me for. After explaining the difference to him of 120 square feet versus 140 square feet he got very upset with me because he does not understand math. He tapped his hand on the bill and said its $377 will do a nice job for you I looked at him and said well I dont think so and got up and left. I have dealt with this company for several years now and never had any problems but the people that are running the show room now or extremely rude and only care about commission and not about customer service. I would never recommend this to anyone ever again for any kind of carpet at all

The worst experience EVER! George, The Old Guy, has NO INTERGRITY! He gave me a quote of $457.23, so I gave him my card. He comes back and says, I was wrong its $588.18 so I told him dont worry about it, I received a cheaper quote elsewhere. I ASKED, DID YOU RUN MY CARD? The liar said, No maam, I didnt. Only to find he had charged me $457.23.When I called back he said, I didnt know it charged you. Well lets see: When I returned he pulls put a receipt with a time stamp of 11:12am and I didnt notice the charge until noon. Yes Sir! I call BULL you knew it and was quite content with lying! On top of all of this, he had the audacity to be arrogant when he was caught! Thank God I caught it! Never ever shop here! I value integrity more than money and they have NONE! I sure hope the owners expect more from their staff and if THE OLD GUY cannot remember swiping a card and charging someone then maybe THE OLD GUY should RETIRE or admit that he is ethically challenged!After further review, the shady guy issued a refund however; the machine was offline. There is NO END to the deceit. Ill have to file a fraud claim with my financial institution. Im so disappointed in my experience there. I wish I wouldve checked the reviews FIRST!

TL;DR:-measurement guy took wrong measurements and kept assuring us it was correct and was VERY rude-installers showed up short on carpet-area not on contract (according to them) had carpet removed and new laid-we were charged $2.99 instead of $2.49 ($500 more than what was estimated)-they expect us to pay ~$400 to finish the 2 closets that they ripped up which are still bare*UPDATE* They have agreed to finish the closets for $75. So that brings the overage to $575, and their 1 star rating to a 1.5The story:We got our project started while we were out of town because we are moving back into our rental that needs new carpet.They were able to get measurements without us being there, which was great.They were less expensive than Lowe’s, which was cool.When we arrived to town and picked out a carpet, we were charged $500 more than what was estimated. I understand how estimates work, so I was only minorly concerned and paid the extra. The measurement guy wasn’t in, so I couldn’t check the math and apparently neither could they.The day prior to install, they called to confirm all of the work needing done and it all sounded good. We verified over and over again that our loft was included.The workers showed up the next day and were doing good work.Then the issue surfaced. They didn’t have enough carpet and wanted to charge an additional $400 to finish. They sent their measurement guy out to try to sort things out. Not only was he rude, but kept saying the fault was on us. He said our upstairs loft wasn’t on the estimate. The workers had already ripped up the old carpet and laid the new up there. So because of the shortage we now have 2 closets that are unfinished and it is a pain trying to get it sorted out.While this is going on, and speaking with management, we found out we were charged for a heavier carpet at $2.99, instead of $2.49.If I never have to talk to Eric (measurement guy) again, it won’t be soon enough.Installers were great, and did good work.Clay helped us sort things out, but we are still overall unhappy with this experience.Last time doing business with these guys. We recommend looking elsewhere for flooring.

We shopped around and nothing could compare with these guys, we wanted a certain carpet and insulation. These guys put it together and set up an installation day.We are remodeling the interior of our house and we will definitely be using these guys again. Next project is tile floors.They sell tile to. Gotta say with the 1/2 inchPadding and plush carpet, you just sink into the room when you walk in. My granddaughters love it. Thanks.

I have been a customer here for over 5 years. I recently picked out a carpet from rough riders for one of my homes we are remodeling. I got with a representative and had my square footage measured. The man who measured said my representative would get back with me within a couple days. 4 days later my representative calls on a Friday as the stores closing and leaves me a message to call back so we can discuss the estimate?? I play along and call back Monday morning but my representative wasnt available so left her a nice message asking to call me back to discuss estimate. Usually in the past the representative has just emailed my estimate for me to go over. Days go by so i call again...nothing. So yesterday i went into the store to see what the heck is going on. My representative wasnt there and the other representative that reluctantly helped me couldnt find any of my paperwork either. He Looked for approximately 30 seconds. He then stated i would have to talk to my representative that would return at 3. I left my info with him and again never heard from anyone. Needless to say I went to a competitor yesterday and had great service and they were able to match carpet color and match carpet clearance warehouse pricing. Sad to say but i will never return to rough riders. Google other stores in that area and you will have a much better experience!

It started off great, but overtime they rushed my install and part still looks shoddy. They make you feel as if you cant ask for improvement or they get angry and insist these things arent problems. They did not take care with shoes and hands in the house during install. They tracked dirt and left messes.

Terrible Customer Service!! I have NEVER in my life dealt with such uncaring incompetent people! Prices are reasonable but you will pay in customer service area. I had them come out to my house to install floors. I specifically told the them DO NOT let my dog in the house or out the gate. I was told they had no reason to go into the back yard. I come home, my dog ran away, doors wide open with garage open and no dog. I asked everyone where he was, oh uh I dont know. Nobody cared. Really? I asked how this could happen? The guys kid was helping he said he went out back and let the dog in the house. So on top of the emotional stress of trying to find my dog and then having to get him from the Humane Society, I have to deal with a group of people who dont care about the customer. Months after the floors were done we had an inspection done in order to sell our house. We were told the toilets were not put back correctly or anchored. I called these idiots back to fix their mess up. I was told they would come, they call last minute cant make it rescheduled for the next day, left me sitting and waiting for 2 hours, never showed up, never called. DONE!!

This place is absolutely terrible. As many have written, the customer service is just awful. We had two individuals come out (after they were late because they double booked themselves). It was a father and son team. Not only did they damage our furniture AND scrape paint off our wall, they left for a 2.5 hour lunch break. They were working incredibly slow, the men were short on material (carpet) AND they stayed at our house until after 9:30 pm. We described our experience to an individual named Raul in customer service (you can find the five star review he gave himself above). Raul came to our house, assessed the damage to our furniture and walls and said he would be in touch. He apologized several times, but didnt seem too concerned. We also had air pockets under the carpet and you could hear popping when you walked through our master bedroom. We ended up paying over 3/4 of the total cost and didnt hear any response as to what would be done about the damage to our furniture and walls. The next correspondence we heard from Raul was him threatening to take legal action because he hadnt received final payment from us. This seems not only unprofessional, but confusing considering the fact they damaged our home and property. They had ZERO interest in rectifying the situation. Oh ALSO, we have two huge seams in the carpet they installed in two different rooms. SAVE yourself the headache!! This place is beyond horrible!

Ive had the guys (and gals) of Carpet Clearance Warehouse out twice now - both times the service was superb. I am very picky about how the carpet sits in my room and they even came out to fix a padding issue (entirely my fault - I ordered the wrong thickness).Id highly recommend Carpet Clearance Warehouse to anyone who wants a job well done.

I get my room size rugs from here because they make them for you and you know how women are they like to change things up so if they dont cost a whole lot like an arm and a leg you can always buy another one when you want to change something in your house I would shop here first when looking for carpets

If I could give negative stars I would. After having several companies come do measuring and estimates with some paperwork due to it being a property loss issue, I decided to go with another company who cut their estimate by over a grand. When I asked Eric to sign paperwork to show my mortgage company that I wasnt using them he refused. He stated that after all he had done (measuring, done by someone else, and paperwork that he faxed on his day off which I did not ask) he didnt want to help me. He was petty and angry and I will make sure ALL of my friends and family know to NEVER go here. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well as the chamber of commerce to let them know what kind of company this is. I told Eric I would do this and his response was let them know how much work I did. Sorry Eric that your feelings were hurt but this isnt kindergarten and everyone knows that multiple estimates are normal in this kind of situation.

My wife and I have purchased carpet and hard wood here 3 times over the last 2 years, spent several thousand dollars. We always installed it ourselves or had a handman do it. Being on a tight time schedule we decided to have CCW do it. We also needed 3 doorways re-stretched due to a remodel, which was quoted on site by the installer. The quote was $75 which we agreed on and wrote the installed, John a check to him personally. He failed to provide a receipt. Upon first glance they did a great job, the entire job was done in a hour and a half. A week or so later we vacuumed the portion that was re-stretched, a portion of the carpet became stuck in the vacuum. On further inspection we found that instead of seaming the 2 pieces together a 2x4 section of carpet was laying there, unattached. We called our sale rep Clay, he had the installer call us. The installed said that we did not pay for it to be seamed, just stretched. After explaining that i agreed to their quote abd at no time did they attempt to give us the option to pay extra to have it seamed. The installer, John said we were trying to scam them. We again called Clay, he immediately sided with the installer, and hung up on us several times.. As I explained to them, I have no problem paying for quality but do not have patience fpr short cuts. Unfortunately they have lost a customer.With proper customer service and installation practices this could have been avoided. Do yourself a favor and pay a few extra bucks some where else.

Horrible customer service. Waited for an hour and half at home for the measurement appointment and then after calling them they told me they were 5 minutes away then we called again after 30 minutes and they told me they have to reschedule because they have other appointments they need to be on time for. Dont waste your time with this crappy business. They suck!

One of the worst Customer Service experiences I ever had. I have a Carpet issue, where it was coming apart at the seams. My carpet sample which has been at the Lab for 3mo, still no resolution.....3 months later, Finally got all my money back.

Installer was disrespectful of our property and then left having not done the job.
