Absolutely dogged this place! I came in from out of town and had a BnB near by and came by here to start my day. I had the cold brew along with the Campfire I believe it was? It was basically a s’mores style coffee which was delicious. The staff was kind and helpful with my order since I was new to the place. The aesthetics of the coffee shop was also very awe inspiring In terms of the name Wayfinder. If you are in Colorado Springs and need a cup check out Wayfinder !
Great spot for coffee. I thought the aesthetics were great, with all the maps and books and adventure feel. It might have been just a little busy, but the place was clean and the staff was friendly. I just got a coffee, but it was tasty. Seemed like there were quite a few people coming through on a Sunday morning. It’s a big place so it can handle quite a few customers.
Ill start with prices arent bad and food is good. There is a great variety including some gluten free options. They also have oat and almond milk alternatives. The place is cute, well decorated, and plenty of seating although busy. I will try again but generally dont recommend after my experience. I ordered my drink iced and repeated my whole order more than twice for her entry of my order. Since it wasnt iced I checked with the girl that made it if it was at least almond milk and she confirmed it was. I drank it a few hours later when I got home and could ice it- it was 80 and sunny and Id just run several miles. I was given a number for my order and then they tried to give me another number so I went back to make sure my order had the right number and my order came out immediately after. Everything was good and people were nice but there was a weakest link that ruined the entire process for getting what you actually ordered. Id give it another chance but for now it was just okay. I could have made it at home and it taken less time, less stress and made right.
Cool local coffee shop that roasts their own beans. They also offer wine and tapas. Comfortable environment with cushy chairs and table settings. Friendly staff but could use an extra person or two to improve speed of service. That said, the quality is worth the wait. One of our new go to places when were in Colorado Springs.
Exceptional for the area - delicious baked goods, moderate selection of coffee and tea. I love their golden turmeric tea they vend, its delicious! Latte foam was perfect, cant wait to try a cappuccino. Baristas were nothing but kind. Environment is detailed, very haute hippie! 💛 Love the ambiance. Music is a tad bit loud. I love their alt rock selection, but if you need quiet, just be aware. :)
Been many times and the coffee is delicious and the barista is amazing. 20 min wait for coffee is a bit long though...I wish they had 2 coffee machines.
Went there for my first time yesterday just because I was in the area. The atmosphere is extremely friendly and the drinks/pastries are absolutely incredible! I wanted to see if it was a one-time thing so I went back today and sure enough it was just as fantastic as yesterday. For me, the iced vanilla latte and friendly staff are definitely worth the 20 minute drive.
Wayfinder continues to bring in coffee, wine and pastry connoisseurs! Their goods are baked in house and include the freshest, flakiest croissants you can find locally! They dont spoil them by heating them in a microwave, but use their special ovens to serve them at their very best!
I have never been here before until today. Love this place! I had the spice road latte & it was amazing. The staff is so friendly & helpful. And the environment is so peaceful. Very clean. And I love that theres an outside balcony for people to go hang out as well if the weathers nice. ☺️ 👍
Wonderful place to sit, have great coffee, and talk or do some work (or reading.) Had the peach turnover this time and it was incredible.! Cant go wrong with any of their food. Staff is always quite friendly and sociable. Relaxing place to hang out.
Delicious house-roasted coffee at a very reasonable price. Excellent atmosphere and customer service. Looking forward to a return visit.
I love the atmosphere in this place. They are happy to cater to those who eat/drink gluten free and dairy free. The carnivore biscuit sandwich is awesome, and the lemon berry black tea is delicious. Im sure that their coffee is great as well, but I dont drink coffee, so I cant give an opinion on its quality. The baristas are very friendly and accommodating. Im about to move from Colorado Springs, and I am definitely sad that I wont be able to come here.
Initial impression- took me 20 min to get a regular coffee nothing special. It was a Saturday morning and there were 4 people in front of me. Willing to give it another shot. Good place to have a conversation with friends or a date.
Really good coffee and a great atmosphere. We had the Colorado campfire and a butter beer coffee and both were amazing. Didnt try the food, but from what I saw we probably will next time!
This is one of my favorite coffee shops ever, its a great environment to work or even get something to go! Ive liked everything Ive ever gotten here! Great spot!
First time here and definitely wont be my last! Love this hidden little gem. The barista was super kind and helpful while I was deciding on my dairy free options for coffee. Overall I like the coffee. The croissant was delicious. I enjoyed how flaky the crust was. I cant wait to explore the menu and try other things. I was really digging the vibe in there. Seating inside was limited at the time I went. So I got to enjoy some sunshine on their cute patio. It does get busy but that just means its a great place to be!
Excellent ambiance and friendly staff. I paired the Indonesia pour over (called Chemex on the menu) paired with a tomato and mozzarella croissant, kept the coffee black. Absolutely scrumptious! Would certainly recommend 👌 👍
I am an almost daily visitor and will continue to be for the foreseeable future. This place is fantastic, staff is amazing, food is delicious, drinks are well made. Bring your laptop, spend a few on the patio working with a coffee, then grab a homemade soda before you ride out. Dont forget to get a breakfast sandwich or some avocado toast!
Definitely a wonderful place. Very good coffee and the decor was awesome. Would visit again.
Delicious drinks and friendly staff. It’s a comfortable place to chill and work either inside or outside. It was very busy. The only negative was the chicken tortilla soup was pretty lame. It didn’t even have tortilla chips.
Thank you for being open so late! Love me a quiet cafe on a Saturday night. My wife and I enjoyed the space, the drinks, and the experience! Just wish it was closer to home...
Amazing coffee cant wait to come again.
Delicious coffee. Really friendly staff. Go here every Tue morning for a mens Bible study.
Another solid coffee spot in Colorado Springs! This is a great place for either a quick to go coffee and bite to eat, or a more relaxed experience to share good times with friends. The staff is fun and we enjoyed a couple custom coffee creations that were off menu. They also have some unique drinks like the Colorado Campfire... a must have! Will absolutely be back.
Highly recommend! I just discovered this gem! I will definitely be visiting more often. I was impressed with the vibe, the space, the plentiful tables, and outdoor seating. I ordered a chai, preferring the sweet honey, but they were out. So she made a spicy chai with added vanilla syrup and it was sooo good!
First time stumbling across this gem of a coffee place, with plenty of seating and room to relax, study, read a book, etc. The staff are super friendly, the Fancy Brews are tasty and low-acidity, and dont require masks 🇺🇸. Visited here after finding that NO Saint Arbucks offers dine-in 👎🏼11/10 would visit again!
What an amazing experience great service and coffee, beautiful environment and I ran into some of the most beautiful people.
My favorite “sit down” coffee shop in Colorado Springs. The decor is really well done, the pastries are really good and the coffee is always excellent. I love that they have an outdoor deck to enjoy the view. The staff are always friendly. It is a great place to relax and enjoy time with your friends.
Have gone 2x so far and absolutely love it. The environment is perfect with the wayfinder theme. The drinks are delicious! Got the campfire latte and their hot chocolate and tried their thyme soda. Was very happy with every single one.I tried their berry and creme toast and their cheese and tomato soup. That was worth it! I have nothing negative to say about this place. Definately suggest you go!
Great neighborhood coffee shop with an excellent selection of pastries.Would be five stars if they had a decent selection of teas. I just want a cup of green or black tea, but everything on the tea menu has fruits, nuts, roots, and twigs in it. Yuck. No thanks. You can get just a regular cup of coffee -- why not tea?Looking forward to going back later in the day for wine and tapas.
I have a caffeine addiction, and as such has led to to work in the coffee industry and take up the hobby of visiting every coffee shop that I can. This cafe has one of the best atmospheres Ive ever experienced. The decorum and staff make you feel like youre hanging out at your best friends house. Incredibly family friendly and one of the best cups of coffee in the Springs. When friends and family visit this is one of the local treasures I show them. Long story sort is Wayfinder is absolutely worth checking out.
What a cool place with delicious food and great coffee!! Service was perfect too! We will be back!
Fantastic atmosphere and theme, kind staff, good selection of drinks and food thats very good. Favorite coffee shop in Colorado Springs
Very busy right at 10, but definitely worth it. Super reasonable coffee prices, and one of the few places that serves a real macchiato.
This place is the best! I come here a few times a week and always love bringing friends! The company doesnt pander to the political wokeness and communist regulations. I’ll always support that.
If there is any problem with this place it would be that it is too popular. The staff is friendly, the service quick and the atmosphere top notch. And the coffee is easily competes with the best coffee houses I have been to.
This place is always busy and for a good reason. Very good coffee and food. I have never been disappointed here. Great atmosphere too!
Good food and even better coffee. Usually busy but not that bad of a wait. Maybe 15 min... worth it.
Great coffee, great desserts, and great atmosphere. The staff are wonderful as well, I cant recommend these guys enough.
My croissant was hard as a rock. Even after it was heated. And my coffee tasted like sludge. This used to be my favorite coffee shop in Colorado Springs and now I’m begging my friends and family to remind me to never come here. (Question: do you clean your espresso machine) ((second question: why do the owners seem so agitated and on edge ?))
Yes. I love this place. 💕💕👍The tea is good, the bakery items are outstanding and the decor is welcoming. This is a great place to sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee and chat with a friend. They also have a long bar section that is set up for a quick bite or to settle in and do some work.Their outdoor patio is adorable. It has a view of the mountains and decor lights around the edges.Go fall in love with them and enjoy a good cup of coffee.#Cashflowandconnections #ThisisCommunity
Cute coffee shop with a nice atmosphere. Will come here again!
Came by twice in 12 hours. Very cute local coffee cafe. We stopped in for breakfast. Enjoyed a quiche, biscuit and gravy and two espresso. We sat around and let the food settle in, and then stayed to enjoy a light lunch snack (tomato mozzarella croissant) along with two fancy (yummy) handmade Italian sodas.
Coffee was not good. Very poorly made and tasted terrible. Obviously not cleaning utensils between mixing. My coffee had coconut in it and was def not supposed to. Shots were over done and tasted burnt.
It was our 1st visit...great coffee, friendly good service behind the counter, very appealing atmosphere, great vibes!!Our only complaint after being there just over 2-1/2 hrs was 3 different staff members walked by our table & noticed our empty cups & dishes. Our table was not very big & w/our computer & books it didnt leave us much space. It would have been a nice excellent customer service gesture if one of your staff would have offered to remove the empty dishes from our table!! Right before we were ready to leave a very kind staff member finally came by with us bright smile & offered to remove our dishes. Its the little things that stand out when it comes to Great customer service!! We will definitely be back and look forward to bringing friends and family with us!Eddie & Bettie 😃😃
Clean place, good coffee! Great place to meet up.
The did here is fantastic. They could use more help at the busy times.
Stopped in for some beans. Got a great recommendation from a knowledgeable batista.
Highly recommend it! The biscuits and gravy & the baked oatmeal were both great!
Really good Coffee! Excellent customer service. The reason I gave it 4/5 stars is the menu is a bit pricey and it’s really cold in the building I think it would be better if they could heat up the inside more.
Comfortable, friendly, qualityThis place has easily become our go to place. We love to stop here. First of all it’s a quality shop on the NE side of the Springs. The atmosphereis awesome and well decorated without going over the top. The music choices for background music are always fun. Not to hype and always compliments the space. And let’s not forget the interior architectural design! The indoor wood structure with trussing looks so cool. The foodwe had was good. We had the carnivore quiche was delicious and we also had the scone. Honestly, I could have eaten another quiche! The Coffeeis the biggest reason we have fallen in love with this place. I have had a pour over which was SO smooth rich and delicious, a breve, a cortado and a romano.Every time these have been quality. They do roast their own beans.I do need to figure out when they roast their beans because I bought a bag not realizing that had been roasted over a week earlier. I prefer to get mine as close to roasting as possible. The staffhas been different each time I’ve gone but has been consistent in friendliness and knowledge of their coffee. They treat you like you matter and care about their product. Can’t say enough good.
Ive been meaning to get in there but maskers are scary. Glad to hear youre packed with people eating without masks on. Its the only way to go! See you soon for a bit of that freedom youre serving. Mention a face diaper and Im outta there.
My favorite little coffee shop in town! The decor is stylish and cozy with a European vibe. It’s always busy, but for good reason. The baked goods are fantastic and they have a great selection of coffee and tea. Oh and WINE! I love the little gifts they sell and their Chai latte is the best I’ve ever had. So glad to give them my money and support. Love you guys!
Great place to get some work done.
What a lovely place 😊 My first time there but will be back!
Just down the street from my house, so glad I happened to Google coffee shops this morning. The interior design is fantastic, very well done travel theme. The maps and artwork are so unique and it makes me think about 1920s travel. The coffee was great and the service was excellent. Very happy to have this hidden gem in the neighborhood.
This is not the place to go during the pandemic. First, they are not in compliance with the public heath safety measures: they are not at 50% capacity; they are not encouraging social distancing in line; tables and patrons were less than 6 feet apart. Next, while the baristas had masks on, only four guests were wearing masks (and two of those four were my friend and me). Finally, the outdoor seating was not set up—even though there are patio heaters on the patio—to encourage people to sit further away from each other. My friend and I will not be meeting there again—at least not anytime soon.
I’ve been drinking coffee here for more than a year. The place looks amazing, and the staff is always the kindest and hard working people. The food and coffee are great too. Highly recommend.
Just flew in. Always love the hot chocolate here.
Long line first thing on a Saturday morning. Just as expensive as coffee chains, however the coffee was delicious and the staff was more than friendly. I will definitely visit again when I have more time to stay and hangout and enjoy the experience .
Incredible drip coffee in a great atmosphere. Happy that people can come together and enjoy each others company. I love the house mugs. All around awesome place. Great service.
Intimate, sophisticated and fun. I absolutely loved having brunch here.
It was great! The one place my daughter wanted to take me on my short visit to Colorado was Way finders. Im glad she did. It was lyrics different.
Great place with great service. First time in the store and enjoyed every moment.
I absolutely love the atmosphere here! I appreciate being in a warm space with so many friendly people now more than ever. The coffee ain’t bad either ;) definitely my favorite shop in the springs so far!
So relaxed here. I appreciate how it’s run, the atmosphere/theme of the place is wonderful. Their food is all fresh made daily, which is great. Thank you for staying open and for allowing people to follow their own common sense.
I come here for the convenience only. The wine and food are decent but I’m never sure it’s worth it. What started out as a customer service standout has really gone downhill. We come in a lot! Cody was an awesome ex employee who knew our names and was always so kind. You will not find that now. Everyone working seems to act like it’s a huge bother you are there. It’s packed always. No masks. No social distance. I’ve legit never sat at a clean table and always have to ask for a wipe down. Clearly they have an unusual business model that must work for some. I go back thinking it will be different this time. But it never is. Today was especially rough. I’m sad because I used to love this place and miss the consideration and care they had when they first opened. I knew someone who worked here and conditions were not good. Thus the high turnover rate. Maybe they will get back to their roots and make this a priority once again.
Freedom lovers. Fabulous coffee. LOVED the lemon ricotta treat I had.
Super nice to find a cute local coffee spot on my work trip! The staff was very friendly and both the drinks and pastries were delicious and well priced. The spacious patio will a view of the mountains was a huge plus for me. I would definitely come back!
A wonderful atmosphere and drinks, super helpful staff they were super busy so it took a couple minutes but it was worth it
The place to go if you a want a side of freedom with your really good coffee and food.
The coffee and atmosphere is great, but the two times I have been I have waited on my food for very long. This second time I waited almost an hour and a whole 16-oz cup of coffee to receive my quiche.
Zero regard for COVID protocols. Full house of people eating without masks on, and no social distancing. I try to support local businesses but only when they respect their customers and staff. Do better!
Great Coffee. Great atmosphere. Very appreciate that they have indoor dining. They show compassion on those that cant wear masks. Well done Wayfinder!!!
Pro.AmbienceCon.The waitresses do not clean the tables. The table and chairs we used were sticky and had bread crumbs.
Fantastic Coffee Shop!!! they have a very large assortment of high quality coffee items to choose from and many danishes and food. The environment is also extremely cozy and they have a large assortment of really cool books and knick knacks. Highly recommend this place.
Wonderful coffee and friendly atmosphere and staff
Great salad and paninni. Love the antique map decor.
The food is good. The tea is good. The coffee is okay. I used to love this place for its convenience and unique theme, but as they have become more popular the service has seemed to decline by no fault of the baristas. It is a bummer, but I’d prefer to travel further for a business that takes the time to make sure their business is properly staffed and even when it’s busy they make me feel seen and like more than a cattle in a line.
Great food, coffee, and atmosphere. I’ve been coming here for a long time, but ever since COVID started they have really lost my respect. The place is always packed full, it was even packed full when there was no dine in in Colorado. They don’t enforce masks. I felt extremely uncomfortable. Shows how little they care about their customers and the health of their community.
GREAT place to go! Love the atmosphere!
This is my absolute favorite coffee shop in the Springs. I love their coffee, their croissants, and their staff are lovely people who remember me and my order when I come in! Its been super busy lately which is great for business, but I find it too hard to social distance and the staff seems too busy to sanitize and clean tables as often as patrons file through. Also, this place does not seem to be enforcing any reductions in capacity for COVID. Ive had to patronize a different coffee shop for the last month because of this.
My wife and I stopped in for a couple of cold brews and I ordered a biscuit and gravy. The cold brew was very smooth, not harsh at all. The biscuit and gravy was great too. Staff were friendly throughout!
