HORRIBLE customer service! I went to Graybar to pick up an order that was called in and set up as a will call. The guy that was working the counter was helping another customer and it was at least five minutes before he even acknowledged that I was there. Once he did all he said was “ I will be back in a minute “ no greeting what so ever kinda rude. I watched him push a cart with some material on it out the front door. I was at the counter for another ten to fifteen minutes and he didn’t return so I walked into the office to ask if someone could help me. The thing that really bothers me about this situation is the guy that was working at the counter was sitting in a chair talking to another guy and when he saw me he didn’t even offer to help again rude. I don’t think that Ignoring customers is a good business practice but who am I to say. I’m writing this review because the customer service was HORRIBLE and I think that management needs to get involved. If I could give zero stars I would. If the guy that works at the counter isn’t or doesn’t want to do his job they should find someone that will.
Walked in at 6:30 a.m. and knew nothing about what I needed but I had a drawing! The counter staff helped me out and answered a few questions and didnt make me feel like I didnt know a thing about what I was saying. They were honest and the prices were GREAT and I will definitely be back. In and out within 20 minutes and had a truck load of stuff.
What can I say, counter people are great. Wish they had more fiber stuff in stock. Greybar is great
