Always a great experience here! I stop in every now and then to see what kind of used guitars they have in stock and I usually always end up buying one or trading an old one in! I just walked out with my 3rd guitar purchase here in a year and am completely satisfied as always. The guitar tech Richard is very helpful and will make sure your guitar is set up properly and tuned before you leave. He will even throw a new set of strings on for you! Aside from the great guitar service, they do all kinds of musical instruments. Definitely a great place to go if you want to save some money too! Thanks guys!

I had a great shopping experience in this store about 23 years ago. That was the last one. It seems as if people just dont like working there, but its what theyre comfortable doing.To be honest, most music stores have that vibe. I loved working in them when I was younger, but also knew when it was time to move on

I go here before I go anywhere else in the springs! They have the most experience, have the best selection, and have the best advice. I’ve never had a bad experience at pro sound. They do get busy and backed up, but I only think it is because they have such a loyal customer base. They don’t just hire anyone to be put on the floor, I consider these guys to be the best of the best!

Customer service was phenomenal. I was looking for an acoustic electric guitar and came in with a fairly unreasonable price expectation. Mark found a trade-in guitar that meets my needs, is acoustic-electric, and was well under my price point. He even sat there and chatted with me as he did some work on the guitar to make it sound better, as the guitar wasnt even on the floor yet. He helped me test it, and we both commented positively on the quality of the guitars sound. He even had a pocket of picks so that I could borrow one, and I was able to snag a capo to test the piece. Mark was awesome, the environment was peaceful, and I am so pleased with my purchase. ProSound is an awesome store that can meet any of your retail needs.

Shout out to Christian the guitar tech, my guitar needed serious repair and fretwork. After keeping my guitar for a while I got back an instrument that plays beautifully. Pricing was fair and the quality of work is first rate, I’d recommend anyone to them. Finally my “Jem” is playable!

Went in to look at electric guitars for my son. Richard helped us. He respected my budget and gave my son some options to choose from and try out. Left with a new guitar, case, amp, and strap.

Guitar Center was taking weeks on weeks to ship a guitar so I went down the road to Pro Sound and tried out some guitars that they had (Jackson, LTD, PRS, Fender).Needless to say I purchased a $1000 guitar that day and did not feel cheated at all. Wonderful customer service.Edit: I loved my LTD so much I came back and bought a Jackson. I purchased everything through Richard both times, awesome guy.Edit: Well, I went and got a super cool Fender Telecaster with locking tuning posts and noiseless pickups. Richard is still who I bought these last three guitars from.

Aweful! Just awful. My husband used to work there, went to them when he passed away from Cancer to resell some of his gear he left us, the offered WAY less than market value. Dont sell your gear there.The quote only covered 10 pieces, didnt account for the rest. NOT ok. Felt scammed.And if that wasnt enough, the manager raised his voice to me when I said no to the offer. The other guys there were incredibly helpful though in unloading and loading the two car fulls of equipment. I think that was the straw that broke the camels back. Ill never ever go back! Not ever.

I love this store so much. I have bought 4 guitars from this place and wont go anywhere else. Richard has been so great about giving me his most honest opinion about what Im looking for. One time, I was prepared to spend any amount of money for the guitar with specs I wanted and the guys had me try out a mid priced one first which blew me away and I immediately purchased. Their prices are just as good as the other big stores, but Id still come here even if they werent. Just picked up an acoustic guitar for my kid today from them. Dont waste your money going to the big name stores for a shoddy, slapped together guitar with a terrible setup.

I had an enjoyable experience with profound I found exactly what I was looking for an had enough money left to get a soft bag and a strap these people are not out to get you at the register they seem to be there becaue they love what they do.

This last time I had a lot of fun getting to dig around through the nooks and crannies in the studio/speaker room. Same few guys have been there every day for years, not random retail drones. Whatever you want theyll help you find it. They carry drums, synths, all kinds of guitars, school band instruments, repair parts, amps, and even some good used gear.

Great local place! Been going here since I was a kid, I recently came in for a restring on my ESP Alexi Laiho guitar. I just had the strings done at another place I wont drop names, but I got what I paid for; a crooked neck, strings were waaay too tight, Floyd Rose was all out of whack and it just didnt sound right. I dropped it off to Rich and he had it back to the way it was when it first came out of the factory. Night and day difference. If youre looking to get your high end instruments properly worked on, and maintained please do yourself a favor and pay the extra money and get it done right the first time.

Rich is the absolute best dude. Humble and knowledgeable, he cleaned up my tone pots and sent me on my way with a smile and handshake, free of charge. Dude is totally rock & roll cool!! 5 stars all the way

Richard not only knows his stuff but is professional & personable with me. I first brought him a guitar that the big box center guy repaired poorly & damaged. He explained what was needed for my guitar without talking down to me. Ive since brought him several instruments for work as well as bought a new bass from him. Id rather work with him than any other luthier in the Springs or Denver.

They have some really nice High end stuff, and they keep em in the case, not on the shelf, which helps to preserve your investment! I came by on a Monday morning with a problem - I needed my sons guitar setup, as well as my own. Their guitar tech did an AMAZING job setting them up, and was able to get the setup done by 5pm, which was no easy thing considering the work that needed to be done in a single day. The service was amazing, the setup was great and its good to find a solid guitar tech I can rely on. Highly recommended!

Good selection even for extended range lovers, would recommend.Only weird thing was the long haired older fella working there kept trying to correct my brand pronunciations but was in fact pronouncing many names wrong. Not really a complaint just strange to me. keisel guitars isnt pronounced KYE-SULL sorry bro.

This was a great experience! I have an acoustic guitar that just needed some minor work (I wanted to replace the strings) and it was an, overall, simple and easy process. In fact, I got a guitar case and threw in a couple of picks with all of that. Pricing is reasonable, and they offer lessons. Another thing to check out! :)

I have been in several times now as I grew to hate Guitar Center. The crew at Prosound knows what they are doing! I love this place and will not go anywhere else for my guitar or drum needs. Prices are fair for the higher end equipment they sell. I will be bringing in my guitars for some TLC soon for re-setups that guitar center screwed up. I have e gone in just for PA setup advice and they help out even though I was not going to be buying anything from them at the time. Keep it up Prosound!

Much better than guitar center, in my opinion, if I go into guitar center its like pulling teeth to get what Im looking for, but at prosound anyone can help you find what youre looking for. Friendly and knowledgeable, is all I can ask for and they deliver with no problem.

I recently broke a baritone ukulele of mine. The guys at pro sound took it in and made the instrument sound entirely new! I noticed subtle differences in the ways it played just after some fret work and a re string was done on it. Not only was it done beautifully, I was treated with total kindness. I am completely happy with the quality of work done on my uke and will definitely bring my guitars in in the future.

We went here looking for an acoustic guitar. The salesmen was happy to sample several guitars for us (as I dont currently play). He spent time focused on our needs and was friendly.

Salesmen are knowledgeable but not pushy. You can try out many of their instruments. A fair music book library. They dont do much for wind instrument side but they dont leave you hanging; they recommend where to go.

This is an awesome place to get guitars. I bought a Jackson V from here the help was completely phenomenal I knew what I wanted and then they didnt try to upsell me something more expensive that I didnt want and they helped me out with what I wanted I will be coming back to this place further future guitar and amp needs

Went in here an hour before closing after leaving Guitar Center annoyed.Richard was awesome. I told him I wanted to get that Stevie Ray Vaughn sound but was too embarrassed to play the guitars since it had been over 10 years since I picked one up. He started plugging guitars in and jamming.I really liked the sound of a used Strat they had and had enough money left over to get a great amp. Took it back a week later and got a free adjustment on it. An adjustment that Guitar Center wanted to charge an additional $50 for (Sorry, just really turned off by Guitar Center).Great experience all the way around. Richard is a really cool guy to deal with.
