John and his crew are the best in town. There is a reason you may have to wait a few months because all the big contractors in town know there is only one company that will do the job right and that is John. I have a lot of family in construction in Colorado Springs and they would all only give me one name. John was very professional from the start and delivered exactly what he said. I had a difficult job for John with a lot of required grading for runoff and tying in of existing structures and concrete. The asphalt grain is so tight and the way his son on the grader performs is true art. Ive never seen someone that good on a grader before. Johns attention to detail in tying everything together is so amazing. He was able to butt up against so many varying types of objects (concrete, rocks, trees etc) that it all looks perfectly natural. I always try to write objective reviews, and I only give 5* when a company exceeds my expections in ways that set them apart from their competition. Hurley Asphalt did just that when they paved my 650 driveway. Most notable are three factors - responsiveness, commitment to quality, and on time performance. Each time I called, the owner personally answered the phone. He came out within a day to give me an estimate, and readily scheduled me for days that had recently opened up due to a cancellation. When a neighbor raised an issue about the paving, the owner came out again within one day and outlined the solution. On the scheduled days for grading and paving, crews showed up on time and worked professionally. Every member of the crew was respectful, polite, and skilled. When the work was done, the quality was apparent - correct depths, well defined edge work, smooth pavement, and good finishes. But with all that, the thing that impressed me most was good old fashioned honesty and straightforward communication. When the owner says something, he is true to his word, and a handshake means everything. How rare!

These guys were awesome! We had 5 other companies come out and give us a bid. It was a large project and we wanted to make sure that we had someone who really knew what they were doing. Their price was competitive and the driveway turned out amazing. John has been doing this for so long that he know how to do a quality product without taking short cuts. Couldnt be happier and would recommend Hurley Asphalt to anyone.

John Hurley is the absolute best of the best, we made the bonehead mistake of using someone else ONCE and will never do that again. No matter the wait He is worth it. I only recommend Hurley Asphalt.

John Hurely Asphalt did A great job on my new driveway. They did it in a timely manner and their workmanship was outstanding. They brought in new road base and compacted it. The contract called for 3 of asphalt and they did that and more in some areas. I am very pleased with their work and and they charged me exactly what was on the contract. I would definitely hire them again.

Mr. John Hurley and his son, Brody, undertook my driveway project with professionalism and integrity. They treated me with respect, listened to my concerns and offered many good suggestions that exceeded my expectations and definitely enhanced the end result. On 1-09-2018 this company paved a driveway for me. They had a crew that knew what they were doing. Each person knew what needed to be done and it got done. He even had his grandson working with them and he jumped in and was willing to learn how things were done. This company showed up when they said they would and jumped right on the job and got it done. I give them 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. This is a great family owned business. John and his crew were able to get the job done without delay and it now really looks great. It makes the business location look so much better. Mr. Hurley and his team did an absolutely fantastic job on our drive in Divide, CO. All of his employees we came in contact with were extremely professional, nice, and courteous. In two days they were able to complete all of the grading work needed to tune up the drive and lay the asphalt. I would recommend them to anyone needing any work done to their property, both commercial and residential. All of this great work and the price was extremely reasonable too!

Great experience with John and his crew. More than reasonable estimate to do my driveway. No money up front, just payment on completion. I liked that. They came out immediately and spent the first day prepping everything. The grade was a bit tricky, but they got it right. Day two, they paved and were done in several hours. Looks terrific. And they cleaned everything up as well. Highly recommend them.

They were great! On time, very efficient. Had one tiny hiccup that was handled professionally. They asphalted a very large area and long driveway for us. We plan to have them back for maintenance on our existing asphalt as the weather warms up.

I can’t say enough positive things about Hurley Asphalt, if I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I spent 3 months calling around to over 20 asphalt companies trying to get estimates and the only person that would return my call and do what they said they were going to do was Hurly Asphalt. We worked with Brody one of the owners of the company. He is a gentleman when it comes to speaking with, working around, and work ethic. We ended up changing our plans on our driveway 3 times and Brody always said no problem. We had him remove a retaining wall which exposed power lines from the house. Brody ended up coming to the house on the weekend and barring the cable without us even noticing or asking his to. He is an extreme perfectionist and won’t leave a job until the asphalt looks like glass. I can’t tell you how fortunate we are to have worked with him and I honestly believe there is no one better in the industry.
