I contacted Tuning Technologies during the Summer while my GTI build was still underway and made an appointment for October when I new the car would be ready for dyno testing. From the initial moment I contacted Tuning Technologies, Jen made me feel very welcome and comfortable, detailing for me the services available and what to expect. Instilling this sense of trust upfront goes a long way with building a lasting customer relationship!When I arrived this past Saturday for the dyno appt., Alfred went over in detail everything related to the testing process, and often stopped and provided feedback and updates as the testing proceeded, even highlighting some anomalies with my GTI build which warrant further investigation.The recent results were good, but with a bit more tweaking, Im confident that the numbers can get even a bit higher. Ill definitely go back to Tuning Technologies when Im ready for another dyno test. Alfred and Jen are wonderful people, a pleasure to work with and I now consider myself among their loyal customers. Alfred and Jen have taken care of my Evo VIII and I since I first moved to California in ~2010, and I could not be happier! They are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and there to help, and I’d recommend anyone looking for work on their evo in so cal to give them a visit.To highlight their level of care and service, my car has been garaged for 6+ years with no service, I called Tuning Tech to have them help me get it back on the road, Alfred answered the phone and remembered me and my car down to a tee. I can’t imagine getting better service anywhere else!On top of all that, I’ve had them tune the car multiple times and the way it drives and the power it has made always impresses me.I’m working with Tuning Tech to basically rebuild the car down to the nut, and am fully confident they will do a fabulous job!

Jennifer and Alfred are both great personalities to be around and both take care of you not just the car which means a lot in todays world, plus the dog is adorable. They worked with me for a month of me trying to get all the information I needed before my tune and I also had some parts put on the car by them before hand. All around a great experience and will be coming back to them for my cars needs.

BEWARE will take your money and throw a garbage tune on your car. Couldn’t figure out how to tune my sti and told me my injectors were backwards. You guys still owe me a refund. Stopped answering emails and all straight scammers. My reply to your reply. People deserve to see this! You guys took my money hopefully people will see this and not have the same happen. Karma

I took my 2019 STI in. I had mods and procrastinated thinking I could just use the Cobb tunes for a little while . On Christmas Day my car became very weak and threw out a code that it was running lean I was worried called them the next day and to my luck they had an opening and they were AMAZING. My car is running better than ever! I’m definitely bringing it here for them to do work and future tunes. Also on a side note they were very kind to stay later for me since I made it after they closed. Not many will do that during The holiday season. I appreciate it and will recommend people to go here.

Ive been bringing my 2017 STI to Alfred since I moved down to SoCal last August. Always received excellent service and quality work. Alfreds performed a couple of custom tunes on my STI now as I continue to add mods and and this last one just blew me away. Great power that kicks in just perfectly and so damn smooth! Thanks Alfred and Jenn for all your great advice and hard work!

So my experience from TT has been nothing but great. Alfred n jen are the best I can honestly say. Ill try too keep this short but I got a 2016 FiST and had a hybrid turbo put in. (All done by my mechanic) took it to a different tuning spot. I wont say any names or who I was dealing with but they are located in Bloomington would not recommend. Hassled me around and had my car for a month and never updated me. Now once I received my car, made a appointment with tuning technologies and to find out my car was running lean and things were turned off that shouldnt of been. Alfred took care of me, he is and will be the only place and person I take my car too! Oh by the way he got it done that same day also. Highly highly recommended if you love your car.-Thanks again Alfred and Jen

Alfred at Tuning Technologies is the man. I bought an Evo X that had a bunch of aftermarket parts installed & it wasnt running the smoothest. Alfred explained to me the ins and outs of the car, gave me a parts list of everything done to the engine and gave me a solid 91 octane tune (365hp/309tq to the wheels) I feel very confident driving the car now and Im definitely looking forward to my E85 tune from Tuning Technologies!

Loved the staff here. Everyone was super helpful. Brought my sisters car in to have some work done on it, and they treated us like we were family.

Staff seems friendly. The nice thing is that they do have an ALL WHEEL DRIVE DYNO! Its not cheap at about $200 for 3 pulls on the dyno but its to be expected. Would give 5 stars if they were more familiar with Euro cars though. Lot was packed with nothing but Lancers.

Love this place, and everyone in it!Took my newly acquired Talon Tsi here, that has been sitting on non-op by the previous owner since 2012. I asked them to go to town and make her Daily-able ..and man, amazing work! Car runs like a champ, and oil leaks are nonexistent. After paint, I plan to start a build and have TT take the reins! You got yourself a loyal customer, thanks for everything everyone!Their customer service is top notch, Jenn and Alfred will truly treat you like family; a long with knowledge and promise, that you will be well taken care of.

Had a second tune by TT, made quite a bit more power and they got me the right mods to make the mid range power I like. Dual map tune is working great and feels like different car.

Im sure everyone who knows cars and imports already have their favorite import shop, but if you dont or want to find a really good shop with an all-wheel dyno and great service, I think this is definitely the place!I moved here 5 months ago with a very jacked up Subaru WRX, clutch was totally gone and everything was loose as a goose in the engine. I found these Evo (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution) experts through a co-worker at work who owns a mean Evo. He said that this place was by FAR the best in SoCal, so I had to give them a try.I made an appointment for that week to fix my clutch (which is almost impossible in LA) and showed up at the shop and found myself surrounded by about 15 Evos(which is really intimadating if you know about the STI vs. Evo rivalry), but they were all very nice and excited to actually branch out to fix other cars. They have a new shop with two garages and a new all-wheel dyno. I was welcomed by Jenn and Paul who were extremely nice and got to know them pretty fast.They fixed my clutch and resurfaced my clutch with ease and I am very glad I went to them. Great customer service and they did an awesome job.Only bad thing is they are kinda far outside LA.

Best tune shop in socal for a subaru or evo

Worst tuning shop in socal took my evo to them 3 times each time the owner never tryed to help me out charged me for a 2 second comprisson test when another shop did that and more for free last time i took it to them they made me take my car home when it struggled to make it there worst customer service ever no shop should turn away a customer

Had Alfred dyno my car in 2006 ran great on and off the track. Years go by I amassed more parts, bigger turbo, fuel system etc etc. Couldnt get my schedule to work out with Tuning Tech for a dyno appointment. Settled for a dyno at local shop that shall remain anonymous................................................................................ ROAD RACE ENGINEERING. Yeah waste of $1500 and more importantly my dam TIME.....In the end booked a day with Tuning Tech. Alfred did a great job.. Couldnt be happier. Car runs and drives great 405hp on 91 and 500whp on e85 conservative side. I dont usually review anything but this is my 2 cents....

A+ I absolutely whole heartedly love this place. Everybody is incredibly respectful, they always take the time to help you and answer questions. Ive noticed a lot of places that deal with evos/stis are rude and short, like their better than you. Tuning Technologies is by far the opposite. This is the only place that you can call and ask for advice on your car and get a kind and knowledgeable answer. There extrememly good at what they do and there not overpriced at all. I took my evo ix down there to get a clutch replacement last weekend 4/18/14 and it was done the same day and it runs perfect not to mention the place was packed with beautiful evos wherever you looked (a definate sight for sore eyes =D). Shifts like butter now. Big shoutout to Alfred for all the advice and tips and Jen for being very helpfull over the phone. I will forever take my Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 here. God bless this place into the future. Thank you.
