Great service!

I dealt with mike through my whole experience at Hilliard Automotive. This business is five stars on all facets of how a business should be run. A+ in customer service, knowledgeability, car repair, and communication. Mike shot straight with me tho whole time. No gimmicks or “headlight fluid” nonsense. I needed a new clutch, and they did just that for a a fair price. If you’re looking for a go-to auto mechanic, Hilliard is 100% my recommendation. I won’t be taking my car anywhere else unless I absolutely have to.

I took my car here for a failed thermostat / temp sensor on the recommendation of a friend. They did a great job at a fair price. Most importantly they worked to squeeze me in quickly so I could get back on the road.

The owner, Mike, is one of the nicest people I have ever met! He gives you all of the facts and options that he can prior to working on your car and always calls with an update and an estimate of pricing before doing the repair. The mechanics that actually do the job always do a great job with the repairs, as well. We drive all the way from Hopkins any time we need them because we refuse to take our cars anywhere else!

Wonderful place! They fixed my vehicle in 1 day, and at a fair price! Everything was explained thoroughly and told what to keep an eye out for in the future. Now my car drives like a dream! They have earned a lifetime customer from my family. I most appreciated that I was treated with respect and not a silly woman as I had experienced at other mechanics.

Unbelievably honest. I went in for an inspection and brake job before a long trip. Mike inspected everything and only did what was necessary. He could have easily done more and charged an arm and a leg. My family will continue to go to Hilliards for all of our vehicle needs.

This place is the best. Small business that doesn’t try to upsell you for things that are likely fine for a several more routine oil changes. They tell you what you need and charge you accordingly at good prices. Friendly staff, too. I recommend this to everyone I know with car problems.

Mike goes above and beyond to make sure you have all of the information for the repairs needed and suggested maintenance. They never try to get you to do unnecessary repairs. I feel they are one of the most trusted service companies in the area. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Great service and excellent work! Have been taking my vehicles here the past couple years and have never had a problem. They may be a little more expensive than other places but you get what you pay for.

Mike and Randy are always pleasant and professional. Extremely knowledgeable, they only repair what needs to be fixed. Ive been taking all of my cars to Hilliard Automotive since 1990. I never have never felt taken advantage of for any repair work they have advised. Their prices are very fair. I recommended Hilliards to anyone who is looking for reliable and expert car care. They do everything from oil changes to engine and transmission overhauls.

They are a bit on the pricy side but the service and quality are worth it, in my humble opinion. They are especially good at Honda and Toyota and have trusted a few cars to them in the many years I have been going to them. I highly recommend if you are in the Irmo/Lexington area.
