I brought my Mitsubishi Outlander in for a recall inspection of the crossbars and only waited a little over an hour for the inspection and application of anti-rust coating necessary to prevent corrosion in winter weather. The agent who waited on me was friendly and cordial. I would give him a five-star rating for excellent service and recommend their service for any type of repair or inspection. Jesse Bates was great to work with. He didn’t act like he was new to the job of being a salesman. He had only been on the job for five days. Jesse was very informative and down to earth. He answered all of our questions and explained everything clearly. We were impressed with how fast the whole process took of us owing a 2017 Chevy Cruze. My son loves his new car for college. We went in to test drive a truck, Jordan, had picked out for him...thats where we should have walked away. No one from Joe Machens had looked at the truck or at least at this dealership had not even did any research on it. We drove it and found the the front tires were in bad condition due to it pulling to the right when breaking. After the manager walked around it he agreed to put on to NEW tires and have the truck put through their checks and make sure it was a solid truck. Other stuff promised were a extra key, receiver, tires, detailing- the only thing done was the receiver. Used tires and a vin inspection/odometer they did vacuum the seats and carpet plus REMOVED the few person things we left in the truck which took all of last week to complete. Oil and other fluids if checked were not filled. No keys to the toolbox were given to us plus we told Jordan that it locks were broken on it but she forgot to tell her manager. So not fixed. They loan Steve a small car to drive while they had his truck but complained that he used it. Im sorry but he told you he needed a truck to use for his daily like. Also his truck came back with a empty gas tank. 1st and last time I will deal with these folks. To bad they dont live up to their advertising. I have reached out to the salesperson but no response. Hopefully they will step up and honor their word. The loan person was and is awesome !! He rocks!

Service appointment. I booked an appointment online but they didn’t know anything about it at the front desk. It seems the online portal doesn’t connect to anything in the check in process. After waiting a while for a ride, they forgot about my vehicle and I had to leave it overnight. They accommodated me by providing a vehicle. The assessment of my maintenance needs was confusing and unconvincing. The guy who was helping me had an ear bud in his ear every time I interacted with him. The whole experience seemed very unprofessional and disorganized.
I went in for a new to me car...but MC knew I wasnt ready and spoke to the guys in the service center. They looked at my car, got me on the schedule, PROVIDED A LOANER VEHICLE (tears of joy!!) and although Im still in my 2010, its running great and Im super happy. Thank you so much MC, Scott, the gentleman that picked me up from where my car stopped (hes drove me to Machens), and the entire service department!!!

I had a very attentive salesperson. Management treated me with kindness. There was a small issue with an installation of a Mazda remote starter. Service had difficulty reaching Mazda technician/engineers for assistance for an issue with the installation. Due to that issue, which was not on the local dealership but on Mazda. I waited 4.5 hours at the dealership for my car. Once they realized they would not reach a resolution bc there was no return call, management offered to bring my car to me which is about a 90 mile delivery. The next day it took over a half day to get the problem resolved and get my car delivered finally at 4:00 pm. I am happy with the dealership, not as much with Mazda support for causing the delay and inconveniencing me. Car was delivered with the working auto start. I love the car so far. Absolutely felt taken care of by Joe Machens auto group. I have received follow up calls and an offer to buff out a few spots that were missed by detailers. They even offered to come and pick up the car to take care of that, keep in mind that is a 160 mile round trip. Nice guys to work with. Most everyone at the dealership was kind to me.

I bought a ‘19 outlander sport, brand new. Took it in for the first oil change and everything was fine. A few 100 miles later dash lights were just randomly coming on as I was driving it, so took it in to be looked at, the only thing they came up with was it needed an oil change (even though I just had one done). Fine do the oil change. So that is two (2) oil changes with in 10,000 miles. Called to get my next oil change, even though I am sure it doesn’t need it yet because of the second one they did before it was needed, but they didn’t change my sticker to show when it would need done again so decided I would just have it done like it says. But conveniently I am not in the system. 🙄 umm I bought it there and have been back twice, I am sure I am in there. Besides this they are not taking vehicles after 4 for an oil change nor on Saturdays anymore so for those of us that are out here working jobs there is no time slots for you to have your service done. Great service 🙄 Took me for ever to even get my title from them we had to fight even for that. I can say I will never even attempt to buy another vehicle from Joe Machins Mitsubishi again.

Our previous google review has been deleted. The online PR rep contacted us, and subsequently told us they reached out to us twice. They have not. Original service was extremely poor, resulting in a return visit to correct immediately identified service mistakes. We have reached out to GM of service department multiple times to no response. We are waiting until the end of the week to see if we are contacted by a GM or other member of upper management, out only next step is to report to the BBB.

Last year I purchased a brand new car. I’ve always heard horror stories about going to the dealer for service, price, customer service, etc. I made the decision to go to the dealer anyway and the horror stories could not have been more wrong! I have always had great customer service and the price is comparable. Plus these guys don’t pressure you into service or filters every time you get the oil changed.On a side note, a few months ago I had something wrong with a tire. I made an appointment and went to a tire place to get it checked out. After waiting for an hour without my car being taken back, I left angrily. I immediately called Joe Machens and scheduled an appointment first thing the next morning. I was in and out in like 20 minutes with screw out of my tire and the hole patched. I have to say it cost more in my time at the other place, never again.Basically I’ve always had great service, great availability, and comparable price. I would recommend this guys to anyone!

I went there for a safety recall. Appointment was for 2:30. Arrived early. Car finally taken in to shop at 2:50. I was a little stressed because I had a doctors appointment at 3:20.At one point, the service manager came to the waiting room and asked if I wanted a tire rotation with my oil change. WHAT? Had to remind him of the reason I was there.
Excellent service staff. Our transmission had problems, but thanks to the 100,000 mile warranty, it was covered and replaced in a timely manner.

I must say that this encounter could have gone horribly wrong BUT the service manager and his team really ended up hitting it out of the park!! All of the Mitsubishi dealerships have closed around us. We still have a warantty on our car and the nearest dealership is 108 miles away. We had to drive down to Colombia, MO in the hopes that not only would they be able to fix our car but also have the part in stock. We TOTALLY lucked out because they had the part, lent us a car so we could go get lunch while they fixed it and made it back to St. Louis in a reasonable amount of time. It turned out to be a truly painless car repair.

Normally I have no problems, however, this time was different. I have been complaining for years now that my horn was not working right. Every time I went to get my oil changed, I would have them check it. I made sure they checked it thoroughly before the warranty was up. Each time they said it was working fine, that’s the way it is suppose to sound. I asked them to check it again yesterday, and sure enough, the horn is cracked. They said they would go back and check to see when I started complaining about it and conveniently, the only record they have of my complaints was at 40,000 miles, after the warranty was up. This is so frustrating! I was diligent in my complaints and Joe Machens kept saying there was no problem. If Machens does not correct this, I am going straight to FIAT.

Not happy with the service will never use them again now that Dave is gone in service and our tech is gone Bob. Customer service went from 10 to zero without them. Machens just isnt the same since it changed ownership it is actually gotten worse. Employees getting bounced around and always dealing with someone new not good.
