Service has really gone downhill. Its too bad...when we bought our first fiat 8yrs ago was from them, and service was outstanding!
Just bought a car from Machens Fiat and had a fantastic experience. I spent all day with Carrie and she did a fantastic job helping me narrow down my search to the perfect vehicle for me. She was professional and courteous and really made the process of buying a car simple and easy. Even after the purchase shes more than willing to answer any questions you have and help you with the transition into a new vehicle. All the staff was polite and helpful. I will definitely recommend her to my friends and family and if youre going to purchase a new vehicle I wouldnt go anywhere other than Machens. Remember to ask for Carrie from Fiat!
The lady in the front desk, Michele, is very nice and amicable. However, the overall experience was not very pleasant. They went over an hour on their scheduled oil change service. Windshield washer fluids were not filled, nor was the car vacuumed; which is something they offer as part of their (very pricy) oil service. In addition, my car signaled that an oil changed was needed 2 days after I went in for the service. This made me very nervous so I called. The manager said they made a simple mistake in resetting the gadget indicator and prompted me to return to have the issues corrected and that it would only take 5 mins. When I returned to have the errors corrected, I waited for 40 minutes. The vacuuming didnt happen, though they washed the outside of the car. But. They suggested that I needed new, $65 windshield blades put on (which was not suggested the first time around.) I declined as the trust is already broken. Unfortunately, I dont feel confident about this service department and will need to find another place to service my car.
Got my Cruze from them in May from another Machens dealership. I was told by both dealerships thee is a spare key and they would be in contact with me when the key is located. I figured Id give them some time to look for it well i sent an email to do a follow up on the key status and still no response and its august now.All Im wanting is either the spare key or at least the truth if they dont have it and either they be made for my car or at least the money so I can have one made.
