Love this store. Has Everything you need plus more. Great prices. They could have more curly hair options(curly wefted hair extensions) as I mostly see straight hair or krimpy/kinky hair. I love a nice spiral curl. But i love this store.

This store is fantastic. I go here occasionally, and it is far by the best salon and cosmetic store I go to in Columbia. Usually, some other stores are dirty, or the staff arent as helpful and welcoming. But Kaysi beauty when you walk in feels very stylish and modernistic. It is a very welcoming environment, especially with the staff helping out. I definitely recommend going here.

I just needed a hair curler since I recently broke mine. The store is quite extensive, and I ended up buying more than what I had come for. They have a variety of selections at a reasonable price. Ill probably come back again soon.

The women that work here have THE nastiest attitudes. They seem so angry and sad. It’s pathetic how you come into the store and they just say are at you. No hello now genuine interest to help. Really disgusting. The energy was so rotten. It’s a nice store though, really clean and has a lot of product but the employees just leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Be prepared to shop here awhile! Its a whole empire of beauty products and WIGS! OMG the wig selection is amazing! So much to choose from. They have fair prices and the staff is very helpful. The only part I dont like, is the fact you have to wait for them to take your wigs upfront to the register. Im so used to grabbing and going, and I usually purchase a lot of wigs in one shopping trip, so it kinda takes a bit for them to get everything together and take it up front. Other than that, I love it here! Its like Sephora but on steroids! Also if youre a frequent shopper, highly suggest you join their points club. Ive saved lots of dollars already! It definitely is worth joining if youre into beauty and cosmetics!

If you are shopping for things you usually purchase from there, you are fine. If you go to the stores hair section and need help, you can forget about it. The young ladies never acknowledge your presence or greet you and ask if you need help like the staff did when the store was new to Columbia. Good customer service goes a long way.

First off I would like to say that Kaysi exceeds any store. Being able to supply a wide variety of beauty supplies at a extremely good price is amazing. This place is amazing and it is in my opinion the best beauty store. Being able to walk in and have 1 or 2 workers greeting me or asking if I needed help is amazing. 5 out of 5 stars definitely no doubt about it. This store has great products and excellent customer service. Well organized and very helpful staff and goods. I will come here again 1000%.

After some thought and multiple visits here I’d rate this place a 3. They have an awesome selection of products and the layout of the store is dope. But I have to dock a couple of stars simply off of the fact that they don’t offer returns. They started off saying it’s due to COVID-19, but you’d think after vaccination rates increase (and the utilization of disinfectant — duh) they’d be a little more flexible with this policy. I understand not EVERYTHING should be returnable. But if something is unopened or barely used, why not? You can return the same hair products at Ulta, Sephora, Target (all that are in within a couple of miles of this place) so they really seem like scammers. I intended on purchasing Mielle’s Pomegranate leave-in conditioner for instance and accidentally picked up the wrong product. If you know this line from Mielle you know they’re packaging looks the exact same for every product. When I got home I took one pump and quickly realized it wasn’t the leave-in and sadly I couldn’t return it. Waste of money. Similarly, I’m a brow artist and saw they started selling GiGi products including the wax warmer. I asked what return policy is for this since wax warmers can be faulty and don’t always heat the wax properly. The associate told me apparently the return policy applies only for some of the hair/wigs they offer. But other than that, no exceptions. I find it really shady that that’s the case with this place. If you’re not sure about what you want to purchase and looking to experiment with new hair products in particular, I’d recommend going to Ulta, Sephora or Target that are all down the road from Kaysi Beauty, or try Amazon Prime all places where you’d actually be able to get your money back if a product doesn’t work well for you. Purchase from here at your own risk.

Lord they got alot of styles of hair, cosmetics and then some! Do check em out! The give discounts if your s regular shopper registered. Call ahead of time if you know what your looking for to ensure they have it. Ive gone back looking for same hair and there wasnt anymore. Pricing mid to high.

Annoyed store clerks lock the doors before store closing time. Waisted time and gas. If you are going to close the doors 10 to 15 minutes before the posted closing time, let your customers know.

The young ladies that work here are very knowledgeable and helpful. Their prices are about average but they have a great selection and a frequent customer plan.

A friend went to buy something from this store and as she entered the store, she overheard the security guard whispering to his colleague that he thinks my friend (a black female) might steal something. He proceeded to follow her around the store until she left. Will definitely not return there!!!

The prices on the products always ring up more at the register. They don’t honor the prices for the customer. The Manager at the McGraw Court store in Columbia, MD on May 14, 2021 was not customer friendly, did not valve me as as customer and needs diversity training.

I don’t appreciate being followed around the store by your mini vin diesel lookalike security officer. It made for a HORRIBLE shopping experience. I also don’t appreciate your employees making sly comments about “stealing” which I did not. As an establishment train your staff on work etiquette. I simply came to compare and contrast the selection that your supple store had, I’m a picky person and want to make sure what I picked works best for me before I waste my money and my time. No one should be made to feel like that anywhere. I will not patron this business again

I love this store. So welcoming and warming. Always clean and put together. The staff are always more than willing to help and are extremely knowledgeable. As a gay male African male, I felt extremely comfortable in their establishment. Best beauty supply store in the area. I’d rather drive from downtown Baltimore than go to a closer beauty supply. Good selection of items from makeup to skin and hair care tools and supplies. The aisles are wide enough to walk through without bumping into all of the products. The prices are reasonable and range based on the products. Only downside was no one on the floor to see/check if the customer can find what they are searching for or make recommendations on products etc.

They will sell you horrible wig for $400 and tell you to call the seller of the wig. Very fraudulent. This store is the worst. Do not buy any human hair from this store

I was looking online for a cosmetic stores when i saw this store. I noticed it had very good reviews and it was 10 minutes away. Honestly, it is a unique cosmetic store. It feels more fresh and welcoming compared to other cosmetic shops. I wasnt sure if it would have exactly what i needed for my hair but it had a bunch of things i ended up getting more than i expected.

I just want to start out by saying how shocked I am by all these glowing reviews, really! I will also start by saying something positive, and I agree with many others that the store is very organized, clean, and overall easy to shop....and thats where it ends. I have to say though that my experience is pretty typical, so its not just them; I find that whenever I enter a beauty store they take one look at me and figure Im not worth their time to even help. Whether its that I dress like I dont have have money to spend or maybe since my daytime look is no makeup and a pony/bun that I am not their ideal customer..... Im used to this when going into any primarily women targeted store (with the exception of ULTA always felt like I was worthwhile customer). Im used to being ignored and not greeted, in fact I make it my first instinct to say hello first so they know Im here and give them a chance to try and help. Everyone else is usually acknowledged, but I guess its b/c they look pretty and like their ideal customer. I walked around the store for a while obviously looking for something in particular was glanced at by a few passing by associates but was never asked if I needed help; however again Im used to this but seriously Im over it! I have no plans to ever go here again and after reading these reviews its even clearer to me that again I was judged based off my looks or maybe even the fact that I had my kid with me and maybe they just dont want to deal with it, I dont know but whatever the reason, in my opinion they need to learn how serve everyone no matter what they look like. Obviously, I dont recommend if youre not ideally beautiful or look like a spender.

My friend told me to come here because my hair color was messed up. A employee named Paloma i think was very nice and helpful in helping me fix my hair color. She told me what to use on my hair and how to fix the color. She was very knowledgeable and all the other employees were very friendly. The store was also clean and modern. Its a good store if you ever need help with your hair, i strongly recommend this place.

I love this place. Its easy to find. They have a lot of products for all hair types including the wide array of African American hair types. The prices are acceptable, not the lowest but certainly not ridiculous. The store is clean, modern and fresh and, to top it all off, the service is excellent. If you cant find something just ask a question, its most likely there somewhere.

I recently just visited this store for the first time. As soon as i walked in it looked so clean and the environment was so nice. The manager Jessica was very helpful since it was my first time she helped me find variety beauty products and was very kind. There prices were also very reasonable and it was good quality. Im impressed by this store.

Ive been to this store twice in 7 days. Helpful staff. The store is big, bright and clean. Has all kinds of hair, body and make up products. Wide range and selections of hair products from all natural, to the stuff thats nowhere near natural. They also have quiet a selection for men.

It was my first time visiting. I was there with my daughter looking for hair for an upcoming event. The lady that was working in the back with the wigs was helping someone so I went up front to see if one of the other young ladies could help me. Karen, I think thats her name, stopped what she was doing and gave us some very good advice. Then we went to look at make-up, she was restocking and was very helpful again with our questions. I was very happy with the service and will definitely be back.

Last year, a few months ago. I went in with my Mother and she and I split up to look for things the owner checked us out and made a comment about my Mothers hand bag, Betsy Johnson. She purposely didnt ring up an item, so that security would stop us at the door and she came over looked in my Mothers hand bag and said its good yup thats what I rang up. She set us up to see if we were stealing and the owner knows who I am, we have had several personal conversations ever since she opened the store, she even ordered my hair products I have never returned and never will. I have never stolen from anyone and I have spent thousands in the store, literally!!! Kaysi you know you are wrong!!

Such a wide selection of products, and I love the layout of the store. I had a make over done by Brittany and I was blown away by the job she did! My eyebrows were so on point, I couldnt believe it! She helped me pick a foundation that woks with my skin type that stayed on all though the day and a concert that night, and I actually found a red lipstick that works for me! She did an amazing job and you should be sure to see her next time you wanna shake up your look!

I did not know that this place was so close to me and I absolutely love it. They have every cosmetic product you could dream of and every hair product as well. The manager, Palosa, really help me with some hair products and how to get certain colors out of my hair. She was wonderful and so was all of the staff. I would recommend this to everyone.

The place has it all :) im always overwhelmed at the size and variety but there are helpful assistants there to help u. Discount card available for frequent customers. Prices fair. Whatever your looking for Kaysi probably has it. Wig and makeup section is phenomenal. Im pretty comfortable shopping here. Good selection of hair products and most staff appear nice and helpful. However the assistant manager was quite unhelpful during my visit. It was my first time purchasing hair products and the young lady I had spoken to earlier in the day told me (after I specifically asked) that I could return the item I got within 15 days for EITHER refund or store credit. Based on this, I purchased extra items just in case. At the end of the day I didnt use it all and had to return the unused, unopened stuff. But the assistant manager kept on pointing out that I could only get store credit despite my explanation to her that I was told otherwise earlier in the day. She pretty much became rude at some point, and with an i-dont-care attitude stopped short of telling me I was lying. Now, I generally expect courtsey as a customer, and dont disrespect folks even when I feel disrespected. Im showing my displeasure with how I was treated by writing this review. As a store owner/manager under these circumstances, you should apologize for any misinformation or misunderstanding on your store employees part, and offer a one-time time courtsey/exception if possible, not blatantly indicate to your customer that you think theyre lying. I felt insulted.Not sure theyd earn my business again.

I am an older shopper, and i hate taking 10 minutes looking for any item. This place is full of a huge amount of beauty products, hair products, and cosmetics. It is located at the corner of Dobbin Road and McGaw Court. Give this place a try, i think your will like it.

I go to Kaysi Beauty primarily for wigs and Karen has always gone above and beyond to make sure I find what Im looking for! Shes one of my favorites because shes patient and will let you know what looks good and what doesnt. If youre looking for help look for her!

Love this store but found out today they will no longer be carrying Morphe which is a huge bummer. I can already get most of the brands with a professional discount online so the prices arent that great here. However, great store to browse and see products in person.

You can find everything, and I mean everything here. They will even instruct you on proper care of hair and beard. They have several chairs for men and weomen that they will seat you in and go over proper grooming techniques. I highly recommend as a one stop shop for all beauty supplies.

Very new and clean. I liked that they have a selection of inexpensive and more pricey brands so you can mix and match. You can also test the products which is cool.

A beauty superstore with weaves, wigs, hair, skin and nail products, plus a large makeup section and a section exclusive for men products; all this under one roof! This is not your typical beauty supply store. Lots of brand names, especially in the makeup section—Sigma, Morphe, and more. Friendly staff! Will return and recommend to others.
