Good bookstore. Starbucks inside for the kids. some universities bookstores are so much larger but they pretty much have everything you would need and some decent swag.

We visited our niece recently. The school has an incredible history mixed with a progressive future. The campus is nicely consolidated on a hill. The Hilton on Senate is in great proximity to campus. The jogging path along the river is a great place to stretch out and enjoy the local climate and history. A great number of local restaurants and drinking.establishments. THE USC is worth a visit!

Nice bookstore with student essentials but also a nice array of books for personal reading. Lots of gamecock gifts. Courteous people at checkout.

Went on a Saturday since they were supposed to be opened. They were having their floors cleaned but there were no signs or any indication that the store was closed. There were several people waiting to get in. Called the store, no message that they were going to be closed or open late due to store maintenance.

Well staffed with knowledge associates. They have. A great sale going on through October 2020. Otherwise, this should be at the top of your list for Gamecock related gifts and apparel.

First and foremost the staff is always kind, helpful, and cheerful!!!! There is a huge selection of books anywhere from fun reads to books that can help you with certain courses to obviously required textbooks. There’s a never ending selection of gamecock gear and even a small convenience area with quick snacks, toiletries, and school supplies for emergencies. The only downside to this store is the insanely jacked up prices. Welcome to college life?

Terrible customer experience. Two of my books were placed on backorder and the store did not provide any updates for over a month. They also have not answered my 5+ phone calls, voicemails, or emails. Youre better off buying on amazon.

Beautiful school in a wonderful setting.

The bookstore is incredibly frustrating to buy books from. Every semester its like I have an issue - they have an unforgiving refund policy, are nearly impossible to get in contact with (sent an email and never heard back), and the staff is often condescending. I had an issue with some of my books during the start of the semester and I tried to get in contact with them. I called and no one answered and the voicemail said to email them, so I emailed them and never heard back. Went to speak with them in person and had to stand in two different LONG lines before finally getting to speak with someone to help me, who still wasnt able to get me my books and I had to verify with this person that I would 100% get a refund because they rarely give them. Avoid the bookstore at all costs - its frustrating and expensive to deal with.

Overpriced, like every college bookstore. Be very careful when using their online order tool. Many of the textbooks the bookstore says are required are actually either optional or not required by the professor. The bookstore will also try to have you buy an access code even if the course in question doesnt require one.

So get this. I am at this book store. I start looking at the books and I told the person I was with These books are so over priced. What a rip off! i then hear this loud squawk. I start feeling a sharp pain and when I look down this huge rooster is pecking and scratching me. It chases me out of the book store. I will think more carefully before saying anything to upset the mascot of this school.

If I could give zero stars I would. I attend the University and I payed for a wallet. After leaving the line I remembered I needed to break some money. I went directly back to the same cashier that checked me out and asked for them to break the bill; they stated that Id have to buy something first. I just bought a wallet not even 5 minutes earlier. In addition, the Starbucks said no without any explanation. I wont be spending my money here again. Also, everything is ridiculously over-priced. To put it plqplai, dont shop here. Adams Bookstore has the same stuff for cheaper.

Books are extremely overpriced and can be found for much cheaper online. Its a complete rip off, especially for incoming college students. However, the staff is friendly and try to be as accommodating as they can.

The prices are outrageous. Obviously they know students cant afford these prices! Shop anywhere else for better prices! $118 for a shirt? Come on guys really?

Cool little college shop with super high prices. If you want SC swag go for it but as for the general items, you can find the same things with the same quality for a lot cheaper elsewhere.

This is where I get all my school books from. I love how well equipped they are. Best bookstore in the area. You guys should really check this place.

I have to thank the young lady who came and found me and walked me to the bookstore. She was awesome!!! As far as the service inside the bookstore no one seemed to know what anyone was doing. It wa with trying to find caps and gowns and the appropriate tassels for my nieces degree.

Good place to chill for a weekend. Watch games. Because it is out there in the main road, parking is difficult you need to find parking on the street.

This place is, in the nicest words, a disaster. No structure is placed for pick up orders other than the rude ladies that work in the bookstore yelling where to stand in line. This results in confusion and waiting in lines for the wrong things. Staff should be respectful to students and not talk down to them after being confused due to their poor organization skills. For a great school this bookstore is awful and over priced.

I bought a new book from the bookstore, however, it is actually an used book that missing something like the page of serial number. Therefore, Im unable to access online materials that publisher provide. I even found a receipt inserted in the book shows that someone bought it from other university!!! Although the book looks new, it is still used. The bookstore shouldnt charge us that price! Its scam. I recommend anyone who intend to buy textbooks there make sure that nothing missing or damaged.

Terrible coffee and return policy on textbooks. I have to drop a class for a return after the first week of school? They try to take all your money even though tuition is already $6,100 a semester .

Good selection of books and other Gamecock merchandise. Id give 5-stars but the prices are quite a bit higher than other nearby businesses with similar stock.

Today was pur 3rd visit and each time there have been several employees looking busy, not helping customers. Were standing here now waiting to get our books with 5 employees just roaming around. Last visit, we were overcharged and it took 20 minutes for the correction.

I go to USC and absolutely hate having to go in and ask them questions. The staff members that arent students are very rude and not helpful. I was told my shirt would come in on a day and it did, so I went back later that night to pick it up and was told they did not get any of them in, then the next morning I got an email to pick it up. All staff needs to get on the same page....

I was dumbfounded when I handed the attendant my hand written note with my book order information and she told me she could NOT READ CURSIVE HANDWRITING. A COLLEGE BOOKSTORE EMPLOYEE...Scarey generation we have raised.

I will do everything in my power to avoid purchasing anything from this over-priced and poorly operated bookstore. Never once had a good experience.

Starbucks coffee available here @ Barnes and Noble bookstore, which is always fresher than what is offered at the Thomas Copper Library. Most of the food items in the bookstore are a bit overpriced, but I guess that is to be expected on a university campus.

Followed around by 3 of the male workers the entire time I was there, they loudly whispered about me discussing if they thought I was shoplifting when I was just looking for a phone charger & didnt touch a single item. Never had a weird or alienating experience there until today.

So expensive!!! Everything is marked up so much. We are just broke college students!!

Worst online ordering experience ever.Ordered a Final 4 Tee shirt on 3/26/17, paid for 2 day shipping. Received a confirmation e mail that night. Expected to have the shirt delivered on 3/28/17. Shirt did not show up so I called the bookstore as that is the only number I could find. They could not find the order online even with the order number. Told me they were transferring me to a manager. Only got a voice mailbox. Left a message. Never received a call back at the time of writing this review. Recalled the bookstore and was told the shirts just came in the day before(3/28/17). Also told due to the high order volume they were trying to ship the shirts out as fast as possible. So much for 2 day shipping, At this point I am 3 days past the order point and they could not tell me if my shirt was shipped or when it will be shipped. What a JOKE!!!!

Ridiculously overpriced. Always busy, always messing stuff up. They treat their employees like dirt. Do yourself a favor, order your books online, get an international edition, or buy from a student (there are facebook pages for that). Youll save yourself a TON of money and a major headache.
