This place is part store and part museum. The people that run it are in it for the love of the hobby. I feel fortunate to have a store this cool in Columbia. Every time I go in there I am in awe of the cool stuff they got in since I was in last time. Beware though, especially if youre nostalgic on 80s-90s toys this place is dangerous for your wallet. But its all really fairly priced. 10/10 awesome business.

This was a neat store. There was so much stuff everywhere. Books, Guides, Figures, Comics. Just a moderately sized haven of everything pop culture collectible. The guy behind the counter was very kind as well. Everything I looked at was reasonably priced as well. I stopped by traveling through but would consider stopping here again on the way past it.

The owner is so nice and cool.. I love this place!! Honestly its the biggest comic store Ive ever been to and they have such a big variety. Theres something for everyone comic books action figures.. if youre a collector this is definitely the place to go or if youre just like me a regular comic book nerd this is definitely the number one spot to go to

This place is great! My husband goes in and sells things here all the time. There are loads of comics and cool books for me and figures for my husband. I love going here because of how homey it feels. You just fit right in. Everyone should come here!!

This place has it all Books, Vintage, Modern, comics and a plethora of toy/collectable selections. The owner is passionate and really cool. I saw some gems in here. Easily in the top 5 of stores I have been to across the country. I say that because on top of the selection, the pricing is reasonable.

Store caters to in store shoppers! Not just online customers. Huge selection of books; new and old. Great toy inventory as well. The best part was the 2 guys working. No stereotypical comic shop guy that thinks hes the comic book Yoda. These guys actually helped me find what I was what looking for.

Love this store. Here is the deal. Free Comic Book Day 2019 is the last day for Heroes and Dragon at this location. The shop will move a mile down the street to a larger building and better parking. Honestly this store has been in my life for years. The original owner closed shop but it was reopened and honestly it is better than before. If you are in the area you need to stop by just to see the massive collection of GI Joe Star Wars and Transformers toys they have. Yorg has been great for the comic community and he has refused to let the shop die. Graphic novels are half off and they do a great job of keeping new comics in stock. I cant wait till the new shop is open!!

The best comics, toys, and games hobby store in the Columbia, SC area. This LCS has more items than any one person can inventory. Heroes and Dragons also have Military collector hard back and Science Fiction hard back collector books for sale. Check out this LCS if you are local to the area or just passing through town on vacation.

AMAZING collection on new and old toys and comics, must see

We visited this place a couple of days ago. I was in search of some figurines for my sons birthday cake because I accidentally shipped the ones I ordered online to a different address. We really loved this store. They found us a couple of figurines in the back that were perfect for my sons cake, and they also had a lot of stuff to look at. Ill definitely be back to do christmas shopping. Helpful and exciting to visit.

Its a comic book store where you can find other than Comics a lot of neat action figures some brand new in the box on they have older ones that are sold anywhere from two to five and $10 all in great condition theyre marked with a sticker on what price they are I got a lord Sesshomaru figurine a Heartless from Kingdom Hearts and then I got Mister Penguin from Batman the older picking up the Gotham penguin and it didnt cost me much at all and then they also have some other stuff like Nightmare Before Christmas Marvel DC its a paradise in there for nerds are people who like actual collectibles

We have been visiting many stores around SC and NC adding to our collections at home, this was our first time visiting here, and we were very pleased with the friendly service and the large selection to choose from. Pricing is great and they have the cutest dog working there too! Will be back again!!

Hands down best comic/vintage toy shop in Columbia, and its not even close. Jorg, George, Shadow and several other fine folks absolutely bust their butts to make collecting as affordable and attainable as they can. If you want shops like this one to survive for years to come, support them and dont beat them up over pricing. Their prices are more than fair, and the more you support them, the more youll find out they watch out for you as well. Several times Ive gotten personal messages from the owner letting me know he picked up an item he knew I would be interested in. Not many other stores are gonna do that. Knowing the amount of time and hours these folks put in to this store, I can promise you that a smile and a polite word will go a long way! Thankful to have a store like this!

Been shopping here for many years before Jorg took over. It is still TOP NOTCH. Employees are always friendly and willing to talk. Very large selection of New and Used comics. They have a Great $1. section too. I have been to MANY comic and Toy shops in my 55 years of comic lore and this place ranks right up there with the best.

Workers have horrible manners. People with ADA (Americas Disability Act) have to wear a mask in there. Its not right to do that. Some products are overpriced. But most are a decent price.

Called and asked if they hand gundam model kits. Guy on the phone says yes. They dont stock model kits at all. This is an action figure shop. Dont understand how someone can run a shop and not even be correct about what they sell when asked.

Its gone through a lot of changes over the years. I remember back when it was right next to Manifest, and then later in the warehouse location. I recall most of my fond memories where in the warehouse locale. Its newer locale is definitely an improvement over the smaller location at Boozer and theyve done a good job at keeping their stock updated. You might even get lucky and meet the occasional comic artist there. If youre in the area and you like comics, its a must-see.

What an amazing store such a fantastic place to go and get all of your brand new Comics as well as thousands of back stock issues and harder to find classic golden silver age Bronze Age and modern books with an amazing selection of graphic novels and toys from all corners of fandom! The owner is an amazing guy in a lifelong nerd like so many of us and is extremely passionate and hard-working about what he does! One of the best Comic Book Stores in Columbia. They have comic books, toys, and collectables. They carry most of the new comics along with some from local creators.Also, they have a discount program. It is highly beneficial for those who buy comics frequently and set up a Pull List. The area is rarely crowded so it is easy access in and out. If your looking for a small friendly local comic book shop, this is an ideal place to visit frequently.Their hours are pretty straight forward and it is easy to contact them and ask them questions via phone and social media

Not sure where the reviews about rude staff is coming from but my wife and I went into this store with our two daughters ages 1 and 4. The owner was extremely nice to us and helpful. He let my 4 year old pet his dog and upon leaving while putting our kids in the car he came up with a Wendy comic and gave it to my 4 year old for free. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very good selection on Marvel action figures. Theyre hot now. Also Star Wars, GI Joe old and new. Comic books a plenty. Most of the shoppers in the store were collectors who remember the 80s. Store is like a time capsule.

Great place! I was in town for a few hours and wanted to check out a local comic shop. The staff greeted me and actually helped me find stuff. They have a wide selection of items.

Staff is incredibly awesome. The owners dog is usually the first to greet you in the store. His name is Shadow and he really likes to be pet while you browse a great selection of comic books, and since the new management change, a lot more focus on action figures and toys. Word is theyll be getting new comics weekly very soon, so this is definitely your best stop for a comic book or action figure in Columbia.

After looking at the website pics, I was really disappointed by the reality of the store. Clearly the pics were from the old location. They have a great selection of trade paperbacks. A decent selection of back issues. And, they have a bunch of dollar comics. However, they have no new issues. It is definitely worth a look if you are just interested in back issues or trades, though. I gave it two stars primarily due to the difference between the website and reality. Sorry guys.
