My son has sickle cell and receives the same medication every month. Some times i go there and they intentionally mix it after i ask please dont mix amoxcillian it expires in 14days . 2bottles of amoxcillian should last for 28days if you mix it before it leaves the stpre 2bottles will only last for 8days. If you mix the bottles one is going to expire before he has the chance to take it. I got tired of going up there and arguing with one of the pharmacist about mixing medicine. My son receives the same medication every month and now that im calling someone is always placing me on hold, 3 different times for longer then usual time frames. Then they return to the phone to say we would have to mix medication to send it out. Now im arguing withthem like i do every month about how insane it would be to mix a medication that expires in 14days.it takes about 3-7 days before they actually send it out. By the time it arrives here it has about 8good days remaining. The service at the walmart on garners ferry here is horrible. Every month its the same routine with them transferring me till i have steam coming out of my ears. Its really sad how the people that are there to disburse medicine but instead are deiciding who will get medicine based on how the pharmacist is feeling that day. Its really sad
