1.5 years ago I purchased a ring from them and they sold me a replacement plan for extra money, the promised to add my sons name when he was born. They also promiswed that I can cheng the color of the forth stone regarding my sons month of born. Last week I went there to do that and they said that they wont be able to add my sons name and also change the color of the stones. At the time of the purchase they say a bunch of lies and when is the time of the service thay do nothing. Especially the manager that she is very impolite and know nothing about customer caring.

My mother went to Kay’s to purchase my “something new” necklace for my wedding. My engagement ring is from Kay’s and I was at another Kay’s picking out my band, his band and watch to purchase this Saturday. My mother arrived at Columbia mall at 10:58am and waited outside of Kay’s to purchase an expensive necklace. She said at 11:00am the lady was about to open the door but turned around when she saw my mother waiting. No one is getting to a store before they open to not purchase anything. My mother had to knock on the window so the lady would open the doors to the store. I told my mother not to purchase anything from them and my husband and I won’t be purchasing our bands or watch from them either

This is a great store and the staff who work there are fantastic! The assistant manager Chevon always greets me and ensures that I have a great experience in the store. Even when they have a high volume of customers they always make sure that they look after you in a timely way. Excellent customer service!

Good customer service but ring quality is poor. Had to replace my original engagement ring within two years of owning it because diamond kept falling out and when it was replaced, it looked terrible. Prong was huge! Resorted to getting a different ring that was told would be more sturdy. Year into owning that ring diamond goes missing again! Even after getting it inspected! Being told that the ring with the diamonds on the side are too risky and should get a single diamond ring. If they are so risky, why sell them. I know many women with those types of rings and no problems like this. Waiting now for it to be “fixed”

I was greeted with in seconds upon arrival. The staff was very friendly and professional. The selection is fantastic! I was able to get exactly what I was looking for at a very competitive price. I highly recommend the Kay Jewelers in the Columbia Mall. If you visit this store, ask for Laura. The entire staff was great but Laura listed to exactly what I was looking for and immediately went into action. She knows the products and associated services. Stay away from this place!!! Aside the poor quality merchandise and terrible customer service THEY ADD UNAUTHORIZED SERVICE PLANS INTO YOUR CREDIT CARD and make very difficult to take it back. I only found this practiceafter I saw the e-mail receipt. I live 40 minutes away from this store and they refuse to put the amounts back in the credit card or mail me a refund for their shady behavior. I will waste two hours of my time to take this ring back as I dont trust them.

I would give them less than one star. My fiancé went there, when he picked up the ring it was the wrong diamond. How does a professional jeweler make a mistake like that?When I reached out to corporate management, they respondedHowever nothing got done about this.The poor service we that we experienced made us go else where for our bands, along with advise ourFriends to go elsewhere!

Samiksnya (store manager) makes each customer feel special when they walk in the store. She remembers everyone’s names and she makes it a priority to make sure that they leave with a big smile on their face. Samiksnya works very hard to work within your budget and she offers different options if needed, such as financing, etc. It is clear that she takes great pride in her work and I always enjoy seeing her when I pop into the store for a visit. She is the best!9. Chevon is amazing! Her commitment to stellar customer service is never ending and she makes a lovely addition to the Columbia store.10. Their repair department always does a great job and their turnaround time for most repairs is 2 weeks.

I was picking up a replacement necklace for one that broke. It too 25 minutes for paperwork for a 50 dollars necklace. The whole time trying to sell me the extended warranty. Never again

Go someplace else. Would recommend avoiding Kay altogether. Guy that waited on me lost my order (for a wedding band that may or may not make it to me in time for the wedding) and mislead about the costs involved.

I as well would give less than 1 star if possible. My wife lost the main stone in her ring & it had to be replaced. We were told that it would take 4 weeks to be replaced & returned to us. After 4 weeks we stopped by only to be told it would be a couple of more weeks. We come to find out this sat in the Kay main office for 4 weeks before being sent to Leo. We are now at the 8 week mark & nobody can tell us where her ring is. On top of that they have charged us for the repair & we have to pay for a ring we dont have.
