This man is great and can get just about anything running again. He fixed my snowblower that had not been turned on for years. I really expected it was going to need a new carburetor which would have to be ordered, but we had a lot of snow in the forecast starting that day and he got right on it and got it running great just in time. Highly recommended this place.
Very unethical business owner. Don is only out to make a quick buck and does not care about making things right.
Don is a good honest guy. While I was there a very expensive hood from a John deere ($786) had just broken when they were trying to take it off. Even though the damage was done before it came in the shop, as you could tell by the dirt in the stress cracks. Don called the customer and told him he would pay for the hood. This was a huge loss on a $60 service they were performing. His comment was It is better to be safe with your customer than sorry After reading reviews of the Hill Billy up the the road I went here, I am glad I did.Best,Joe
This place is awful. Bought a mower off him a year ago and had a head leak and Don said he was too busy but to call after peak season and he would fix it. I called after peak season and he didnt recall the conversation...convenient. For some reason I gave gave him another try this year and bought a mower and when I got home I noticed the belt wasnt even on the pully and was on the shaft directly. Told him if be back in a day or two to get the weed eater and when I drove out there he said he decided to keep it for himself. Very bad businessman. He also told me the price of the mowers and then when I show up he says it is $10 more than what he quoted. I just spent $15 in gas to get out there so he knows one wont walk away over a little bit more than he quotes. My dad and I have given this guy a lot of business and when I explained how upset I was after all the business, Dons comment was well dont come back then, Ive made so much money on you that I dont need your business anymore WOW, as a small business owner myself I know how important customer service and repeat customers for referrals etc. VERY BAD BUSINESS ETHICS
