Southern Bedding is the greatest place in South Carolina to buy a mattress. Not only is it the finest quality you will find, but the finest people, Karen, to buy from. I have never met a more beautiful person. Not your typical hard core sales people that say just buy something, you dont matter. You matter there. More than a 5 star establishment.

The folks at Southern Bedding are wonderful. I shopped and researched a long time before making my buying decision for a new mattress. Southern Bedding had the best prices and customer service.I stopped by Southern Bedding many times and called multiple times to discuss options. Karen @ Southern was patient with me and never rushed me. I shared my goal of having a bed close to the floor that would give great support and last a long time. She suggested a platform bed, helped me locate one, and helped me negotiate a great deal for it!In the end Southern Bedding made a custom latex mattress for me. It took only a few days from decision to delivery (delivery team was great too; they were prompt and friendly). I am now sleeping on a 6 inch cloud and forever grateful for a good night’s sleep.

A couple of months ago I bought a mattress and box spring from Southern Bedding. I like to purchase locally and in this instance I consider myself very lucky to be living near this store.I found the homey unpretentious atmosphere of the store/factory to be comforting. When you have a good product that is (mostly) locally made you dont need bells and whistles to sell your product - the product and the manufacturer/sellers deserved confidence and willingness to back their product is all that is necessary.Karen was a fantastic help in helping me choose the correct mattress. Even though I came into the store shortly before closing, she was never in a hurry and was completely patient and helpful. It has now been 2 months of waking up without a sore back.Thank you Karen!

We bought M Lily memory foam pillows and M Lily memory foam mattress here. Absolutely the best sleep weve had in years. After innerspring mattresses with pillow tops, cannot believe how much more elevated and cool our bodies are on this new mattress. Best pricing and nicest people ever.

What a pleasant experience! Ive got to tell you ... Ive visited a lot of furniture and mattress stores in Columbia but never had such a wonderful experience as I did when I went to Southern Bedding of Columbia. They are surely not the prettiest store Ive been to but thats because theyve been around for over 60 years. And thats my point!. I didnt have to deal with a sales person who knows nothing about bedding or their products. Karen figured out exactly what I needed and the perfect price point. I love the fact that my mattress was made right here in Columbia.I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking for a great comfortable mattress at a great price.

Creepy place. First off, none of the mattresses had prices so you were stuck with the sales rep to get any info about them. Second, all the mattresses are still the in thick plastic. And third, they have a tiny showroom and will haul you out to a hot, stuffy warehouse to lay on mattresses.The warranty was a joke that didnt mention what slight impressions were and prorated after one year!

My husband and I have been looking for a new mattress but were unsure on what we wanted, but Karen was very helpful and walked us through the whole process. WE LOVE OUR NEW MATTRESS!
