Incredibly rude customer service. Placed an order in June, was told mid November is the ETA, which I understood was a product of the pandemic. Now, 2 weeks prior to delivery, get a text that its being delayed till January. Spoke with Bryan who managed to offer no solutions to the issue, no available discounts, no potential alternatives. Instead, told me we never promised you anything regarding delivery time, suggested I couldve financed the furniture instead of paying in full since I wasnt too happy that I parted with my cash only to have my delivery date moved 2 weeks prior to ETA. All the while I hear the guy cracking up in the background. Real funny guy, Im sure, but between being argumentative and offering zero solutions or accommodations to remedy the issue, this is not a place I would come back to buy anything from.

I found my perfect chair and the customer service was exceptional. They worked with me and all three of them were very friendly. The store is well organized and clean. Plenty of parking and close to I -70.

When I moved and needed some furniture I went to Slumberland, I ended up purchasing SEVERAL PIECES! Probably a lot more than I actually needed. I’ve always worked with Bruce (Garrett). I’ve known him for several years, but was surprised at his knowledge about furniture and the other things I’ve purchased. This last purchase was actually sheets for my bed. I had bought some at a well known store (with a fairly good reputation) about 2-3 years ago and they have already “shredded”! (I paid close to $500 for those sheets and was not very happy, needless to say, I was not going back.)Among the pieces of furniture I’ve purchased, I did buy a bedroom set, and remembered Bruce telling me “WE ALSO CARRY SHEETS!” These sheets appear to be a better quality and COST QUITE A BIT LESS than the ones I bought previously. Bruce told me how to take care of my sheets, washing & drying them. I’ve been doing this for 50+ years and never knew the correct way! I would highly recommend anyone looking for furniture, odds and ends, decorations, bedding, etc, to look at slumberland! I think they’re the best! Thanks again Bruce!

Customer service was great! We had been to all the stores in town looking for living room furniture, but our best customer service was from this store. Bryan was around to answer our questions both times and it was a low stress sale. He even remembered us from our first go around. Cant wait for our furniture to come in!!

I was needing help with a dresser and looked over to the workers. All I heard was one of the man sitting at the front desk say very loudly some provocative words because he clearly didnt want to help. Another man came over to help even though he walked right past us the first time. Customer service is the worst I have ever seen from a furniture establishment.

Shopping at Slumberland was pleasant and their couches are better quality than other furniture stores. I did have to order my couch w custom fabric and itll take 6+ months to get it but itll be worth the wait. Lets hope it doesnt take longer than that!

My wife and I started our recliner search at Slumberland and should have stopped there. Their selection was superb compared to the other 3 stores we shopped. Bryan was super helpful and knowledgeable and we wont be purchasing our furniture anywhere else from now on!

We were in the Columbia Mo store. Bruce was knowledgeable about the products and very helpful. We have shopped at other Slumberlands before and always had a pleasant shopping experience. We purchased more items than we had intended. Very nice store Very nice prices. We purchased bar stools that were twice the price at another store.

I ordered furniture from Slumberland in Columbia, MO last October. Despite several promises it was coming soon, it didn’t arrive until this spring. I ordered an ottoman in January and was just recently told I won’t receive it until at least November - that’s 11 months! Worse yet, the furniture we received was of poor quality. I have included pictures of the fabric on the couch, which is “pilling” terribly already, after only 4 months of use. I will never buy from Slumberland again. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

Placed an order back in May for a dining room table. It was supposed to in by the end of June...then July....then August... finally got a delivery date of September 16. The 16th came and they delivered to the wrong house. Now Im pushed back until October 28th.......this is absolutely not ok. Iv already paid the delivery fee and now Im stuck going to pick up my furniture if I plan to have it any time soon. I will never go through Slumberland again. I suggest you find somewhere else to buy from. Although I will say all the staff is friendly, Delivery is horrible.

We recently bought our couch from slumberland. Bruce our salesman was very helpful and went out of his way to get us the couch we wanted. The company quit making the couch we wanted and the show room model had just sold. But he was able to find one on backwater and got it shipped to us.The only issue we had was the manufacturer didnt put the proper amount of brackets on the couch. Its a sectional and it kept coming apart. But slumberland stood by the product replaced the brackets and got it working well. Due to covid and current events this took a while. But Slumberland did get my couch squared away.Ive bought a lot of furniture from Slumberland over the years and will continue to do so. I recommend checking them out if one is looking for new furniture. Ive worked with Bruce since 2016 and hes has been there for years and will get you a good product and deal.

Greeted with a friendly smile & welcome ! When asked what I was looking for I presented a picture of a recliner I was looking for or as close as I can get to it . Sales manager said Ive got one pretty close to that, walked me over to the one she was talking about and low n behold .....the very recliner I was looking for !!! Imagine that ?!?! Very happy customer !!

Our visit was phenomenal. As expected we were shortly greeted by a sales person, Mark. Mark was very helpful in explaining all of the different options we had but he certainly wasn’t overbearing. Once we finally made a decision he was there helping us every step of the way. I highly recommend seeing mark if he is available!

Today, after shopping all over Columbia, MO, for a sofa and live seat, we decided to run out to Slumberland before ordering elsewhere. We were met just inside by Zack Henry, and he was awesome. About ten minutes later, we were on the road home, having found exactly what we wanted, at a much better price. Thank you, Zack.

A lot of the furniture on display is not available at the store, but the staff (Heather) was very informative and helpful with finding me a sectional for my living room. Regardless of the wait on orders (expect 1-6 weeks), the prices are very reasonable and the selection is really great! Definitely recommend this place.

We were greeted but not watched over like hawks. Heather gave us time to look around and see what we thought. When we were ready, she was available to help answer questions. Not pushy at all.Came back the next day and she honored her word with us finding a better price on their website and they had the mattress in house. They helped us load it and were very nice. Not at all like pushy salespeople.Only thing I would’ve appreciated was a healthcare employee discount working through the pandemic is a portion of why we were in need of a good bed. What sleep we are receiving is significant.

Great shopping experience, generally. Showroom is spacious. Selection is large and impressive. Sales staff was attentive and responsive, and followed COVID protocols. Great prices. Excellent value. The shopping experience was efficient and convenient. I loved that the store called a couple of days before to confirm delivery in a 90 minute window and showed up within that window. Delivery guys were great. Did a nice job with set up and removing all the packaging materials. The only reason my rating is a 4 and not a 5 is that I had to ask the delivery guys to remove their shoes or to wear shoe coverings - which they were happy to comply with, but when your business requires people to invite you into their homes, I believe the customer should not have to request what seems to me to be a basic courtesy. Would I recommend to a friend? yes Will I return? Almost certainly. Will I recommend to Slumberland that as the last and arguably the most important step in the customer experience that they review their delivery protocols? Yep. That too. Overall, really, really good which is generally OK, but they were standing on the cusp of perfect when they made an unforced error.

He walked away to let my husband and I discuss everything. When we were ready, we found him and we walked out of there with a king bed and mattress with the budget we gave him. I shopped around for a bed before going to Slumberland. They had a really good year-end sale that put several beds in my price range. Heather was very nice and courteous. She helped me decide on the bed I bought and helped me pick out a good, well-made nightstand at a reasonable price. I will definitely be shopping at Slumberland and asking for Heather in the future!

Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, available but not pushy or annoying! They listened to my needs and led me to what fit my requirements, noting pros and cons along the way. In searching for a sectional couch, there were many options to choose from and an added bonus that the fabric could be changed to my preference AT NO EXTRA COST!!!

I bought a dinning room set on January 1 of 2021. @ that time was givin a time frame of when my items will be in march the 13th. That time came didnt hear from the store so I called they said it had been delayed until April. And delayed again until may. May is her and still no dinning set and staff is the most unhelpful even the owner passed me off to the salesman that sold me the set. I wont buy from here again. If you cant get it in a timely manner dont sale it. 5+ months of waiting is to long for any reason. Staff just blames everything on covid. @ some point that excusse will no longer be valid.

Everyone at Slumberland is super helpful and welcoming, especially Bruce! Their options available and prices are pretty comparable to everywhere else, but their customer service keeps me coming back!

Great customer service experience! We were not haggled and they allowed us to look freely. We ended up buying a sealy mattress was an amazing deal best we could find. The mattress is extremely comfortable and my husband and I hadn’t had a good sleep in a long time. Our previous bed was really old and needed an update badly! Next we will be in there for dresser and night stands!

Ordered in St Louis to be delivered in Columbia.St Louis screwed things up and Columbia store fixed the delivery up immediately.One item was damaged when it arrived.Called Columbia they sent new item out immediately it was there within the hour!! It was nice to go in to look for new furniture and be able to browse and not be bothered. Then when I had a question they sales lady was very helpful and then helped me find what I was looking for and explained my options. She also explained everything I needed answers to. I went to look elsewhere but ended up coming back and making my purchase here as I get like a valued customer and felt like I was getting a good product die a reasonable price.
