Great experience! Customer support and timeliness was the best part. I put in a request for a truck at 0730 for pickup at 0900 and it was readily available with zero issues. The rep, Brittney, answered all my questions and ensured I was all set. Definitely recommend their service! Will return!

Our new $10k cargo trailer was stolen within 2 weeks off the vehicle lot. I discovered the theft the next day. Not the Life Storage team.Ask about recent thefts and vandalism. Ask about what they are doing to deter thieves in response to a nationwide spike in thefts (catalytic converters, trailers).A common access pin code is given to everyone along with a personalized one. But the personalized one never worked.Thefts happen. We were aware. But Life Storage advertised security features that other facilities did not. Unfortunately, these were window dressing.Finally, they called recently about overdue payment for the trailer space. Final impressions were that this Life Storage team was insensitive, clueless, and professionally lazy.

I use this storage facility because the company I work for chose it. The gated back area where my unit is located, has many vehicles that have flat tires, windows broken, and are dilapidated. It doesn’t feel safe and is not run well. Often the gates don’t work and are left open. There are many other problems, too many to list here. I am asking the company I work for to allow me to move to a different storage facility.

Really excellent, clean facility with good access and security. The billing system is well-automated and you can control everything online, set up auto-pay, etc. making it really easy. Rates seem very reasonable compared to other options, and the facility on Garners Ferry next to Target is top notch. Very nice and professional staff, especially Mr. Jones, whom we have seen there the most.

Easily and quickly set-up a U-Haul reservation

I drove 200 miles from out of town to check on my property, and cant see anything in my storage because the LIGHTS ARE OUT! And apparently they have been out for over 2 MONTHS! 😡 Totally unacceptable!!Cant see anything in the rear of my storage, so I have to leave my property here until management decides to provide better customer service.

Brittney was wonderful! I had a lock that needed to be cut off and she needed to go to another location to get what she needed to finish the job. She did it quickly and was great about it.

1. They issue the wrong address in your reservation, which takes you to a storage warehouse-not the office location for storage or uhaul business. Since they initiate the automated confirmation email, the fact that they provide customers the wrong address to their own facility wastes time and is unacceptable.2. They don’t even offer to help you hook up the trailer. I’ll manage fine, but first time I’ve been to a uhaul trailer place that didn’t try to assist.3. I reserved blankets and a dolly as well. When I arrived they said they don’t have it. If they would have called they would have saved me a big hassle-I just frickin left a uhaul place where I could have gotten that stuff. Now I have to go back.Do NOT use this hillbilly place! Plenty of nearby professional uhaul locations-go to a real store!James A

Arrived at 10:10 to this facility for a U-Haul rental. Was “greeted” by Greg Jones at the door. By greeted I mean he opened the door and asked what I was there for and when I told him he promptly told me that I need to call a number he mumbled under his breath while walking off and letting the door shut in my face. I was not able to come into the building due to COVID-19 concerns, which is understandable (though I was wearing a mask). Greg comes back to the door and hands me a stick note with a number on it. He proceeds to tell me that the “Lady who handles the U-Haul is not here today,” and that I need to call that number instead. Again, still no official greeting such as “ Good morning”, “Hello, how may I help you”, etc. I wasn’t aware that politeness sped up the the transmission of COVID, but apparently Greg seem to thinks so at this location because he was sure not to display any. I dialed the number on the sticky note in my car and I spoke with Erica who tells me to hold while she calls Greg in the store I just left. He begrudgingly walks out to check the box for keys then hands them over to me. “I don’t know why she called me, but here are the keys. She has me on hold so I guess she’ll call you back to tell you what you need to do.” I tell him that she has me on hold, too and he walks back into the building. Again, no “Have a nice day” or anything remotely resembling good customer service. I ask Erica who is going to give me the mileage and fuel paperwork since Greg, apparently isn’t. She says to take pictures and turn it in. I am currently awaiting to hear from the area manager. So far this experience has been very customer service deficient. Would not recommend U-Haul location or Life Storage location to anyone.

Gregg was great with, very helpful and polite . The loading dock and free use of there hand cart made moving easy. Felt very safe leaving my belonging with them at the facility. Would highly recommend

Nobody works here. It’s a building with an “open” sign, locked doors, and a “closed for lunch”. I have visited 3 times in the past 3 days and have not witnessed an employee here; only the “closed for lunch sign”. The phone is an automated loop with no option to reach a representative. This is the storage unit for you if you never ever have a question that needs to be answered. So scroll thru the website before you use this facility because if you can’t find the answer there, you are simply screwed.

Brittney has been tremendously helpful during this whole process with my move in at life storage. She has wonderful customer service ethics and she knows how to take care of her customers and make them happy! Brittney is a wonderful employee to your company and if I had to recommend anyone to a storage I would definitely recommend them to Brittney at life storage. Great work ethic, I have no complaints at all and I thank her for everything she has done for me with my move in with life storage. If I ever need a unit again in the near future i will definitely be going back to see Brittney.Thanks for allowing me to have the opportunity to write my comments! :)

Legit no issues with this place. The manager here always super reasonable, and always super nice and if I had any issues were always willing to listen and cooperate. Highly recommend this area!

The staff here was very friendly. The light skin short hair lady provided excellent customer service and got me in and out with no problems when I rented my u haul. Also she was very knowledgeable in the trucks because I was trying to move a whole house with a ten foot truck but she advised me to go with a bigger truck for less trips. I recommend anyone going here if they like fast friendly service!!!

Friendly customer service! I visited a competitor on Veterans Rd and the staff there was dead on making me signing the lease. I wasn’t sure she was going to let me leave. Also it was way more expensive for same sized unit. On the contrary, Brittney and Anissa were very pleasant and were not pushy at all. Brittney explained the policy and procedures clearly and honest about the pricing. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone I care.

Amazing and very helpful staff here at this location. When it was time for me to move she was very resourceful about what I needed. Ive had my items stored here for a year and a half. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. Brittney is ALWAYS helpful. When it was time to move I rented my UHaul from this location, and that process was also easy and simplistic. There werent any issues closing out my storage unit and all of my items were well preserved, no odd smell, and most importantly they werent any indications of an insect or rodent problem.

Brittany Thomas is awesome. Please go see her for all your Uhaul and storage needs.

Ive been using their service for years, but I cant say much about the people running the office. I have now visited this office 5 different times. I need help changing the lock. They have asked me to stop by at specific times. 3 of times, no one was there. The other 2, the manager left. No message saying Im sorry ir anything. This is a waste of my time. So, Ill be moving my stuff pronto, assuming anyone that can think will be available to help.

What a great painless experience this was :) Britney was so helpful and explained all options thoroughly so I could make the right decision for my needs . The office is clean, and the storage buildings are well kept. I will need another unit soon as we consolidate and will definitely call on Britney again .

5 stars in my book guys! Wish I could give more. I stopped by here to get some boxes to begin packing since I graduated from college and moving on my own. The prices on packing supplies were good but the tips and advice Brandon gave me was priceless!

Went to the LifeStorage near Target on Garners Ferry for a UHaul that I needed to rent immediately for a move. This had already been the 3rd location I had been sent to and I got there to a sign on the door saying Will Return at 11:45 because the keys werent in the truck for the Mobile Pickup. I was frustrated all over again because my reservation was for 11:15. I called customer service and they wanted to send me to yet ANOTHER location to get the truck. I advised that this was unacceptable and that I was very unhappy. By the time the call disconnected with UHaul, the store manager, Brittney, pulled up to unlock the door. I expressed my frustrations and she sincerely apologized and notified me of where she had been and stated she would get me taken care of immediately. I was relieved!! She handed me the keys after ensuring all of my paperwork was in order and had me in and out of the door within 5 minutes. After returning the keys, she emailed me my receipt with an applied discount for the inconvenience. Way to go Brittney, I appreciate all of your help!
