The Kims at the Columbia public storage are the greatest ladies who display Excellent customer service. They assist customers at all times and are available anytime you need them. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe and secure environment

Good storage and amenities at a reasonable price

Customer service is not in their lexicon. While the place is clean and well maintained, they do not care about the customer. After using a larger unit for several months I down-sized to a smaller unit. When I transferred to the smaller unit, I thought I had properly set up autopay, but never a peep, never a notice, never a courtesy call -- and so I was charged two late fees and, because I was a month late with my payment, they also charged me a default fee of $150.00. Unlike most reputable businesses that send a reminder, they do not, and do not care. Even though I never missed a payment before downsizing, they did not reimburse me. If you have other options, choose them, not this company. Their customer service is awful.

I recently moved to Columbia and I’ve been using this storage unit for year and a half now and I can honestly say you get your bang for your buck. The storage unit is super clean. Customer service is phenomenal. Kim Z. was super helpful and when I needed to use the restroom really bad she was very helpful and informed me this storage facility had a restroom for it patrons to use. I’m very pleased with the service here.

I rented a unit from this facility in the past and today I am returning. The staff was helpful to change my reservation. Spencer and Kim M. Helped me get started today and I love the energy that was put out. Kim M particularly had high energy and had a lot of knowledge of everything.

I would recommend a different location. The workers at this location (9265 Berger Road) are extremely rude and unhelpful. There are many other locations with much more helpful and decent staff. I went in to get a unit and the staff were unprovokedly aggressive as soon as I walked in. I continued to try to get my unit and she just became more and more passive aggressive and rolled her eyes when I answered her questions. I left immediately and went to a new location where I had a much better experience. Needless to say, if they are that rude to new customers, I can only imagine how they treat their paying customers. I am writing this to hopefully help someone avoid the experience I had. I implore you to use a different location.

Went in to rent a storage unit. Kim was amazing! Very helpful. Answered all of our questions and was great with our three year old daughter. The unit is clean, secure, and the price is the most affordable around.

One of the best around, excuse me, the best. VERY clean. Excellent service. Patient and reliable. As far as storage goes, nobody beats indoor and climate controlled. NONE of those pesky little rodents. Keep up the great work Kim.

Kim could not have made it easier to rent a unit! She took us on a thorough tour of the facility, show us to units, and immediately knew which one we needed. She was very concise with the contract, payment, and made the whole experience pleasant and easy!

Make sure you pick the best location for your needs. They won’t let you transfer to another local facility (Company policy). I called to transfer only 4 or 5 hours after signing the lease for my unit. You will not get the courtesy of a 24 hour grace period for changes. No changes after the office closes for the day. No refund etc. Some locations are better than others. The employees seem nice enough but the company policy sucks. Long gone are the days of customer satisfaction being priority, at least with this company. I don’t think I was asking for anything “unreasonable” from this company.

The main areas are consistently clean, and I notice that it smells pretty good even though its a storage place and they usually smell different but this place seems to take good care of the facilities. The staff is also genuinely helpful and has given great advice that has worked out. They have taken really good care of us in our big move from California to MD. I highly recommend this EZ Storage location!

The place is always clean, the area is well lit at night and I like the energy saving lights that come on when you walk through the building. There is no other storage place I would go to.

All the staff is friendly and the facility is clean. I have 2 ground floor units, and no problems with rodents or anything. Only issue I have is I have only had 1 unit for 6 months and the other for 1 month, and already my rent is increasing for the first one by $30. Not even sure why, and no reason given in my letter.

Its your typical storage center. Good points for indoor storage and tall gates at very fair prices, but I would recommend you bring your own quality lock. The locks they provide are chateau locks...which are lacklustre and easily removed with a few blows of a hammer.Camera coverage was on point. No noticable gaps in coverage.

Its very clean, and the managers, Daniel and Kim, are very conscientious and helpful (not to mention very personable). Nearby storage facilities have had problems with break-ins, but thats not been a problem here.

Awesome place to rent and store at! The customer service is top tier! Go to the outdoor/drive up storage facilities down the street and they keep getting break ins and rodents so little birdies keep telling me. Other indoor facilities are just filthy and dusty!!! Anybody that’s posting a negative reviews to the Columbia ezStorage are just not following the terms of the lease they signed, or they just don’t obey the posted rules of the property.

Awesome facility! They do not get broken into like the outdoor facilities. All the doors are alarmed and live in managers that monitor 24-7 for safety!Update - the only problem I have is that the free month they offer is lost in the huge price increase that comes in 6 months. Ironically if I cancel and get the same unit they have my original price on their site. be aware, they can raise your rates at any time and will if you dont sign a long term agreement - so I had to drop them down to really 2 1/2 stars....
