Soda City Movers went above and beyond to ensure my move went as smooth as possible. I had them pack up my kitchen and laundry room, and everything was packed perfectly and nothing (including fragile wine glasses, martini glasses, and all my dishes) and the moving crew that moved me the next day were professional, very efficient, and so, so friendly. I cant say enough good things about them. I would recommend Soda City to anyone looking for a moving company in the Columbia area.

Moving from St. Matthews to Lexington doesn’t seem like THAT big a deal. When you’ve lived in one place for 30 years, it’s a big deal. Soda City Movers arrived ahead of schedule and worked very efficiently. I knew if we had tried to move heavy furniture, it would not end well. They were polite, knowledgeable about how to take care of my stuff, and seemed to have a good time doing it.

Truly am thankful for the service of Soda City Movers. My 1st call was informative, with great information and a good estimate. Howard was great. I booked for their next available opening. I can say I did not think they would get us in as soon as the did, other movers quoted 2-3 weeks out. The movers showed up prompt and on time. Two wonderful gentleman. Soda City was on time to our location to pick up the furniture that we had to move and the super friendly and professional. They wrapped up everything with great care and I was very impressed with how quick that they did but with the tremendous care that they did it with at the same time. They met us at location they were dropping off the furniture on time and were super professional and they put everything were we needed to go in no time and they were super friendly as they worked quickly. They came on time. They got everything done rapidly. My mom was into a storage. It was a five bedroom house I was the only one around and running from room to room you can only do so many places at once. I told them not to take apart a table because it would break. I could not be with them while they unloaded at the storage facility as I was doing a closing on the house. So I let them unload into the storage facility and I did not return to the storage facility until the end of July where I found broken items. Their standard procedure of submitting the pictures and statement because it was 82 days after the move they would not provide any assistance in their breakage. Too many guys moving too fast and too many directions you can’t be everywhere at once I would not recommend them unless you get all other insurance policies and take photographs of everything packed because they are totally spineless about following up on their damage to your items. Would never use them again and would highly recommend nobody else do use them

After needed a moving company for a very recent move, my wife and I shopped around for a good price. Soda City had the best price for the move of a 3 bedroom home to another home that would be a 5 bedroom. The staff over the phone were kind and very informative upfront about cost and recommendation for our move. On the Day of the move the team called ahead about 30 minutes or so to let us know that they were on the way in which they arrived on time and started immediately after doing a quick walkthrough of the home. The whole team were very professional and always asked about which items were needing to be loaded. The were finished packing our whole house in 2hours flat and after arriving to the new home unpack just as quick, thus completing the job in about 4 hours. very Impressive, and that is even though we did not have that many boxes I think they still would have packed everything up in just as much time if not a little more. We have already told about 4 sets of people if they have a move coming up please use them and ask for Tracy, Ron, and Gabe as your movers.

Im not one for leaving a review (even though I read them when Im doing research !) but a great job done by Soda City Movers requires taking out time to let everyone know about a job well done.Due to a promotion with my employer, I was required to move out of state (sadly on my own dime). I started doing research on local moving companies and ran across Soda City Movers. I emailed the company one evening and by the next morning I had a response from Eric on the estimated costs. The cost was affordable and I felt it was something I could handle. Since Ive moved a couple of times I didnt feel like I was hemorrhaging money with Soda City Movers.When I called to finalize the move date, I spoke with a very nice young lady (unfortunately I didnt get her name) and we got everything scheduled. Because Im a little over the top with my planning and organizing plus adding in a little bit of anxiety, into the mix, I spoke with Eric the Friday before my scheduled move on Monday just to confirm we were still ago (even though I had confirmed via email the night before). He assured me the movers would be arriving on Monday.On Monday, sure enough Tracy and Don arrived at 8:30 am, did a walk through and got right to work. They took great care of my items as they were moving me from an upstairs apartment to their truck and than from their truck to a POD at another location. They worked straight through until 1:30pm with no breaks or lunch.I cant say enough good things about the folks with Soda City Movers. They were reliable, caring, were indulgent with my anxiety over this particular move, and the most important thing were reasonably priced. Would I recommend them? Absolutely, without a doubt. Even though I am out of state, if I ever have to move back to Lexington/Columbia, South Carolina, Soda City Movers will be my first phone call that I make to handle all of my moving needs.

Honestly wasn’t expecting the type of service I received. All three movers were super professional and super Chill. As soon as they arrive they was on the move. From the first walk though to the last walk though. Will definitely move with them soon. Great team !!!

We had our home packed 100% so when the guys came they were already happy! They were able to load up a 4 bedroom house in less than 1 hour and they were able to unload everything to 2 2 bedroom home. It took 5 hours with a 2 hr drive included for the entire process. They were efficient, professional, and determined for excellence.

Super easy to schedule! I got 3 movers and they were quick, nice, and professional. They made moving day so much easier! This was my first time hiring movers, but the whole process was seamless.

DO NOT BOOK THESE MOVERS they complain about moving your stuff and will just hang out at their truck to take longer and make you pay more they didn’t even move 1/2 of my stuff and said there was some kind of problem which made no sense they knew what floor my apartment was on so what was the issue they took my mom and didn’t give me anything back for not finishing the job and I had to find another way to move my stuff on the last day of my lease at my current apartment this was the most disrespectful thing I have ever experienced I paid them almost 500$ to not move anything but a couple of boxes BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK ⚠️ their policy says that they can not move what they want at their discretion so if your willing to take that chance do so but I hope no one ever gets played like they played me.

I contacted Soda City Movers fairly last minute looking for a small crew to help unload a U-Pack Trailer. Soda City Movers was very responsive and was able to get a crew of 3 to come to my new residence on short notice to help unload our trailer. Did I say held, they would not let me carry anything and gave me a hard time if I tried. They were a very friendly, professional and hard working crew and was able to unload and put in the right room our household of items that filled 26 of a 28 ft trailer in about 2 1/2 hours. This trailer took 6 adults over 7 hours to load. I would not hesitate to use Soda City Movers again!

I cannot say enough nice things about the three gentleman who came and loaded my PODS. They arrived early, worked non-stop during the time they were here, and communicated with me through out the entire process. I was quoted for a 6 hour job based on the size of my house and number of items mentioned, they did it in 4!! Not only were they super careful with everything, they did a fantastic job of loading the PODS in a way that would limit things from shifting. We are headed out of state so I wanted to hire a company because I knew I could never do that good of a job. Soda City Movers exceeded my expectations.

Soda City movers are great! They moved my entire apartment and a storage unit full of stuff to my new home. Put everything exactly where I wanted it and wrapped and moved everything with utmost care! Nothing was broken or scratched upon arrival which is what we were most worried about. Using this service saved us so much time. It’s worth the cost!

The crew themselves seemed overworked. Also they charge extra for having to run overtime and it seems like they pushed our move ahead so they could charge us more. Overhearing the movers talk, they seemed to think this was the case also. The moving truck hit a large tree limb on their way out, tearing it from the tree and knocking a light off their truck, and they kept going without turning back. Guess that was their way of thanking me for buying them cold water. Already exhausted from the move myself I had to saw up this giant tree limb. When we asked about it, they didnt seem to care that this had happened. Will prob not use them ever again, and would not recommend them.

Soda City Movers did a wonderful job in caring for our antique furniture. They wrapped all the pieces with blankets and wrap. We.appreciated the level of care in which they took with our home and its furnishings.

Since I moved to Columbia South Carolina. Ive move d at least five times and this is the best moving company that Ive used in this area. They are responsive, they pay attention to your concerns and they take care of your furniture and make sure it gets there the way that it left your house. The three men that moved me were awesome and were a pleasure to work with.

I have used Soda City Movers twice. The 1st move went without a hitch. I was really pleased with the professionalism of the lead mover Karim. My antiques were moved with care and expeditiously. My second move did not go as well. Karim was again the lead and once again I applaud his professionalism and integrity. The unfortunate part was when the movers finished their lunch break. The quality of work changed. The unloading of the truck was more haphazard,i.e. a small 4 drawer container being turned on its side, spilling nails. Fragile boxes under heavier boxes. Electric couch, which the movers took apart, was not reconnected. When brought to a movers attention, he asked what am I supposed to do with that. A dresser with mirror, again dismantled by movers, was not reconnected. Karim informed his superiors and I was contacted with instructions to fill out a grievance form. I was told someone would be out to at least reconnect the mirror. I have yet to hear from them again, 1 1/2 weeks later. I dont think I will be using Soda City Movers again.

Travis JB and Willis were wonderful. They got everything I needed moved in under two hour, even while maneuvering door frames that were too small. When we would not fit the dining room table through the door without taking it apart ( we didn’t have the tools needed ) they took the time to wrap it up so no damage would occur to it in the meantime.Great guys, efficient and friendly!
