From entering the facility and all the way until the shipment arrived at my parents home in Canada, I received excellent support and help. The owner called to give me the option to pay the customs duty in advance which I did. For whatever reason the deliveryperson still kept trying to collect the duty and wouldnt release the deliver to my family during the multiple deliver attempts. I called to get assistance from the store and the owner stayed on top of it and followed up with UPS and ensured it was delivered.
I spoke with Rachel several times in order to arrange shipping for an item from an auction house that I bought. She was great and after I gave her information on the lot I bought, they emailed me an estimate and I called and then got some forms to complete which I returned. It was just extremely efficient. They are going to pick up the item from the auctioneers. I even had to call back because I was not sure what credit card I gave them (I had to cancel one due to enormous fraudulent charges). They looked it up and fortunately, I gave them my other card. Rachel was very patient and helpful.
I have been box holder at this location for 13 years, and I have 2 boxes for business. The service and Management at this location is top notch. It is pleasure to visit store each morning to retrieve mail, use printers and scanners, send documents through UPS, etc.. the employees are very helpful, and knowledgeable. Store is always clean and organized. Will continue my service here for many more years.
I have been to this UPS a few times, but most recently I was shipping 11 boxes of various shapes, sizes, and weights because I am moving across the country. Everyone in the store was very helpful, especially Nathan who with a smile measured and weighed each box and helped me get insurance set up so I didnt have to worry while my my packages travel. I highly recommend this store to anyone trying to ship a package out of Columbia, SC. Thanks Nathan.
I was an original box holder at this location over 20 years ago and have stayed through multiple management changes! This new management is TERRIBLE! I will NOT continue my services at this location no matter the inconvenience! Im not paying hundreds of dollars to be treated like a nuisance!

Returning a DVR to AT&T Uverse was amazingly simple with the expert assistance received at this UPS store. We were in and out in less than 2 minutes with a printed shipping receipt in hand. I will certainly use this UPS stop for all my shipping needs.
I just needed to mail about 30 letters, but the staff were so helpful and able to find me the best price. They even went on to help me put on all the stamps! Great customer service.
This store amazed me. Jane D, the manager, amazed me. So fast. So efficient! I was unprepared on how to return my Amazon packages. She had me upload the Amazon app, suggested I take screenshots of the return codes beforehand.She was very patient with me as I had to wait a long time to upload because they didnt have wifi. (A good suggestion!!)Jane was like lightning. I watched every employee there extend awesome service while having a great attitude. I actually cant wait to return.
Needed some items shipped from an auction house so I contacted these people. What a mistake. After waiting over a month for the items to arrive, they finally showed up today. Two of them were damaged. The box had layer upon layer of packing material on top of the items an almost none on the bottom. Of course the damaged items where on the bottom. I ship items often myself and can figure out how it should be done and Im no professional. Dont deal with this people.Update on this issue. After returning all the items, I received a refund and the non-damaged items. It took a while but with all thats going on, I can understand that. The second package I received was packed much better than the and no further damage was done. Since they took care of the issue, I would recommend using them.
Smart and competent staff, to the point and very considerate. Ask about the prices, and theyll be happy to help you out. Got to send a package overnight for much cheaper than I was expecting, and the employees were very helpful with offering alternative choices to help with cost as well without compromising quality. 10/10 will return for all future packages.

I am a music student and I went in to this store to ship my instrument to be repaired. Since it’s fragile, I’m always nervous sending it through the mail, but Bobby was great to work with! Drove 20 mins on my lunch break to be told they can’t take passport pics. The website clearly states this location does the photos which is why I drove out of my way! Secondly, I asked to have something notarized and was told the person that does it had to leave for the day. I understand emergencies happen but why were there 3 other employees and none of them are a notary??! As busy as this place is it doesn’t make sense business wise to only have one person; there should have been a backup available to do it. The two stars is for the nice sales advisor who was apologetic.
Use the UPS store in Fort Jackson instead! These people wanted to charge me $95.00 for THE SAME EXACT SERVICE the UPS Store in Fort Jackson charged me $25.00 for! A bunch of con artists here.
Prices are out of hand at this store. Each time I go in they have gone up or found another way to nickle and dime you. They refuse to scan an online label like other stores, but will charge you to print the label. Charge an additional 8.00 to pack your box, and the box prices are more than shipping.I went in with a prepaid label to ship a product back and told me it was $27.00 for a small box and packing..lol. Pretty nuts since that didnt include shipping.Update..drove to the forest acres ups branch..wonderful service, very friendly..packed CUSTOM CUT BOX, did not charge to SCAN my label on my phone.. total was $11.27.Go to this branch if you dont want to pay $27.00 and get nickel and dimed to death.

Service is terrible and employees are rude. I visited the store on Tuesday for document scanning and asked the docs to be saved to my zip drive. Daniel acted as if this was a service they didnt offer until he asked a fellow associate. When I got home and reviewed the zip drive I found Daniel had not scanned all the required documents. I returned to the store this morning and explained that I needed all the documents scanned and saved to my zip drive as requested the day before no apology was given for not having completed the service as originally requested. Daniel took the paperwork and zip drive scanned, saved and then layed everything on the counter and proceeded to help another customer. Again no apology, no eye contact, no real attempt for customer service or to win my business again. Unfortunately this is the norm for this location. Fortunately there is a FedEx store nearby. 🤔
This store is Great! I had purchased a microscope near to their store, they handled everything, they picked up the item, securely packaged it and sent it for a very reasonable price. Thanks UPS, Ill definitely will use your great service again.

The person who waited on me Outright LIED TO ME - I paid $46 - when she didn’t get the package today (09/26) I tracked it on line showing arrival time/date 3:00 pm Monday 09/28/20. Of course they are closed today. Please stay away from these crooks!!
Very Friendly staff. I highly recommend getting a UPS Box. I get a text every time a package arrives. Its great for my business and very convenient when I order stuff online and dont want it sitting on my porch while at work.
I have had a mailbox at this location for almost 2 years and have been repeatedly impressed by their service. Normally I dont write many reviews, but when I saw that no one else had written yet, I felt obligated to share my opinion. Their rates are reasonable (for a mailbox and for shipping) and there service is A+. It is very convenient to have a mailbox where any shipping company will deliver to (cant do that with a PO Box) and you dont have to worry about a package disappearing from your front door. If you find yourself in need of their services, I highly recommend them.
The guy inside has no idea on how to do his job.. Tried to do an Amazon drop off and had no clue how to. Just went to Kohls instead.. This location wont last long, thats for sure!
The girl told me she would tape my box closed for me. Two days later I receive a notice my package has all of the merchandise missing and it has been discarded. problems every single time I ship with them - never again

After 8 years of helping me with my business needs they have never failed to excel. Jane is always working at a frantic pace, great worker. Jasari is the heart of the store. The new kids Danielle & Cameron seem to be good people as well. I recommend this Store highly. Oh, and Maryam, the owner is always friendly.
I had two packages rerouted to this store because I needed them that afternoon. I was sent notification that my packages had been delivered and were ready for pickup. I went there to pick them up and was told that they couldnt find the other package. The guy who was helping me was nice enough and was trying to locate the package. He made the mistake of asking his snotty co-worker who proceeded to tell me (without looking anywhere) that it wasnt delivered here and I needed to contact UPS. I said I clearly have delivery confirmation that it was delivered to this store. She said I dont know, but its not here. Needless to say - thanks to her rude demeanor I wont go back there. Yall really need to think about who you hire to help business customers. People who have no interest in customer service and only want to collect a check are not the right fit. Forest Drive is a much better choice.

I generally have good customer service here. My last visit, an employee named Carl was very helpful in getting a large, awkwardly-shaped Amazon return package out of my car for me and carrying it into the store.
I dread UPS because of this store. It is always very difficult to find this store and Ive drove round and round in circles until I give up.. The navigation just doesnt seem to know where to lead me to get there.. Im just going to go to the Pelham one instead and drive the extra distance to avoid the hassle.
Sam was my salesperson. DO NOT TRUST THEM! Package was delayed, when I asked why they said call corporate, not my problem, heres the number. I said I would go to Fedex next time, and he said, Ok, cool.

Which is defamation any true business would know that its an action thats against the LAW. I got called fat by one of her employees while she was running late for my interview. Never.
I’ve used this store a few times now and I used to hate to ship anything anywhere, but this store makes it super quick to print, package, and send it out that I keep using them every time now. They certainly make my life easier and are very friendly which is a bonus.

Tried to deposit checks for USAA like I do at any UPS Store, but the machine malfunctioned. Thats ok, stuff happens that you cant help, and the employees did their best to fix it. They couldnt get it to work, so they apologized and I went to another UPS Store in Columbia. No problem, right?What made me give them two stars is that they didnt give me all of my checks back when the machine malfunctioned, they left two money orders behind the counter. When I called and they said they did have the checks, they didnt apologize. They also didnt apologize when I drove fifteen minutes back across town to get the checks they didnt hand back to me - just handed me the checks and walked off. I guess they were embarrassed or sheepish, but you should apologize when you mess up, not ignore the customer and avoid them as much as possible. I wont be going back to this store, the ones in Irmo and at Forest Acres are WAY better.
