Poor workmanship.many issues with home still exist after 1 year of living here.builder installed drain tile backwards and now I have to tear up concrete drive and have repaired myself.water main broke and builder told me to slap some glue on it!told him to give me plumbers number and he did.I called and was told he would stop by next day.he didn’t!I dug up pipe and fixed myself.many issues where home comes together…carpet not stretched and tacked correctly,cracks in drywall(which I took care of myself),loose siding,shingles cut too short,dented facia,heat pump not set up correctly so it continually froze up.so when guy came and worked on it,in process of thawing it out,baseboard got wet and damaged and still waiting to get fixed!wrong color tub deck was ordered so I had to dig up paperwork to show what we requested…still waiting for correction.was told it was champion homes fault but paperwork I have says different!much more as far as poor workmanship and service.called him today and got no response so I have to resort to this.I would give negative stars if available.if you are looking for a smooth talker,be my guest!if you are looking to build home…look elsewhere!maybe a lot of the 5 star reviews come from people who live in subdivisions where builders are held to a higher standard unless they want to get kicked out!my wife and I bought property and had this done from out of state for retirement home….nightmare on elm street!this could have been avoided if he would have returned my text.his choice!

Me and my other half went here to really just look and see what we liked, we met Lisa Paulson and she showed us around and showed us everything we needed to do. She was very nice and very professional I recommend H&H Builders to everyone looking for a home!

Our H & H Champion home is a five-star living experience! Very happy to write the twentieth review and add to the buyer experiences. I waited until everything was completed to give my review. Pete and his staff were great to work with through the home buying process and it is a process! Things must happen in sequence and each step builds on another. This is where an experienced builder is a necessity. Pete kept us informed and we are now living in a comfortable well-made home. We came through the Hurricane being one of the few on our road without damage. I attribute this to Pete’s suggestions when planning the composition and design of our home. The brick underlay, and the proper height was essential to our home being saved from the flood. H & H builders are honest and fair to the buyer. They provide a quality product. We absolutely love our home!

The Hughes family has helped provide me with a home twice in the last 5 years. The first was a rental. The second was a purchase of a modular home. I purchased it in August and they had everything on the lot and set up within a month. I moved in two days before the hurricane. I had no damage from the storm. I love my new home and I am forever grateful for the kindness and care the Hughes family has given my family. I highly recommend them.

We purchased a home a while ago. H&H was the only builder willing to make all the small changes we wanted. Besides that years after the 1 year warranty on the house was over they still came and made repairs.. I would not hesitate to recommend H&H.

We rent from H and H. They were very helpful in allowing us a place to live and working with us getting us moved in with a quick turn over. The staff is very family oriented and will do what they can to help.

A friend and i recently started too look for housing options, which isnt a fun process but we been to many builders and found out the HnH BUILDERS was a very pleasant experience. We were greeted by two a ladys at the door i believe her name was Lisa and Ashley. i told them i was in the market for a home to rent but they gave me some education/direction on that it would be a better option for me to buy a house for the situation we were in. The house pricing was great and the floor plans were so easy to understand the way we were showed. Being at this builders office had a little home feel to it. It was super clean and very nice seating, big tv to watch what ever we wanted and two cute little doggies that would that greeted you with joy. I wold recommend this place to anyone that is looking for home to rent or purchase . I am now in the process of purchasing a home from the owner Mr Hughes my friend and i are extremely excited for new times to come.

On July of 2014 I purchase a home from h&h builders my house was not build until 2016 they were payed in cash were in 2019 my freezer doesnt work still,my house hasnt been power yet,broken widow fame not fix since we moved in, leak under sink.Pete huges visit our home summer of2018 knew about these things for years and still not doing what he has to do unreturned phone calls and broken promises gave him the benefit of the doubt, unfortunately he didnt keep his word also gave him 15,000 to have my land level and water and sewer still had to pay someone to level because it was not done properly god doesnt like ugly I will keep writing on this site everything I get until Pete Hughes do what he has to do
