First of all, don’t say you close at 10 if you lock your doors for like an hour and a half about 4 hours after you open.2nd, get more employees3rd, do you know how vital coffee is for me to even function everyday??? You got me messed up.4th. Every time I come, y’all are closed! when you’re supposed to be open. Wassup with that?5th, 5 people arrived while I was there and you lost all of that business. Good job. Seems like you’re doing REALLY well.6th. I’m straight annoyed with y’all.7th, get with it or close cause it appears that’s what you want to do anyways.

Website says they close at 10... store sign says they close at 10 pull up at 9:15 and theyre closed without explanation. Very poor customer service. A wasted trip. Do better!

The Salem rd store is well stocked. Very friendly staff. First time in the store. Hot every thing I was looking for. I love a dollar store for value.

This location is such a joke! Customer service is not job number one at store #11602. We were at this location today, 9/3/18 at 8:30 pm. The assistant manager, who would not give her name and did not have a name tag, had a terrible attitude. There was an issue with the coupons my mom had saved on her app, and instead of being helpful to resolve the issue, we were met with condescension. This asst manager needs to reconsider her career path. All she would say was they couldnt do anything, BS. This location needs to reevaluate their hiring process and clean house. Also, the store was a total wreck. This us a fairly new location and their was inventory scattered everywhere and boxes strewn about the floor. This location is the closest to my mom, but she will not be back. She would rather go across town, at the 138 SE location, where she has had excellent customer service. Trust me, we will be calling corporate!

I walked in the store today at 3:30. Such a big improvement. Friendly employees and the store was clean. Best of all... Every aisle was accessible. Great job and keep it up!

Worst place ever. How can you tell a customer you dont have a public restroom and then when something is said about having 2 they say its out of order, OK... Plus the store is all tore up stuff all in the isles. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

How is the bathroom out of order for months? Either the key is lost or its just out of order. What bathroom do your employees use? This is not okay. I had to use the bathroom the last time I was there so I left without making my intended purchase and I didnt return. This is ridiculous.

We stopped to pick up a few things and used the bathroom. We walked out not using the bathroom or buying things very rude people and the bathrooms do not wrok do not try calling home office that was a joke

Me and my family frequent this location. It is convenient, and in the past has had such kind, helpful staff. Today, I went in to grab a few items, and the store was cluttered. Myself and another customer were waiting in line.. We rang the bell for someone to come to counter. I presume she was a manager, as she spent the entire time on the phone discussing store business, and stating Yeah, I wont hire anyone that might come on to me. Be sure you dont hire anyone that comes on to you. She also stated how her sales were down this month, and was low last month also. She barely looked up from register or acknowledged me and the other customer during her transaction, except to share that This system sucks, when the customer shared some issue she was seeing on the card reader. Then it was my turn. She never said hello. Asked if I found everything ok, etc. No customer service at all. I think she quickly interjected what I owed in between her talking on the phone, but I did not hear. I told her sorry, but I did not catch it, in between her conversation. She quickly said What? You think Im being rude?. I told her it probably wasnt the best thing to sit on the phone during the whole time with customers, and she countered with I have to be on the phone. Its another manager and she is helping me with something. I said ok...I guess she is helping you as you discuss your reduced sales. She then countered and said, No, SHE is discussing her sales. Not me. I said ok...I politely thanked her for my change. She stormed away from the counter and didnt acknowledge my thanks. This location has had some wonderful staff in it. Helpful. So friendly, and engaging. I was sorely disappointed to see this individual commenting on customer service and her management skills, while doing so in front of customers, and not getting off to actually demonstrate any service skills. You can do better, Family Dollar, and I hope you do.

This store is ALWAYS nasty. Employees are regularly rude. The PUBLIC and EMPLOYEE restrooms have been out of service for OVER A YEAR. Do you think its ok to work your employees all day without a restroom break? Wow.Management is doing a poor job of keeping the shelves stocked properly. Every time I go in this store several aisles are blocked with unpacked boxes. Im not talking about one or two boxes here and there. The boxes are literally stacked as tall as a person and blocks the entire aisle, making walking down those aisles impossible. The boxes sit there for weeks. Weeks! Isnt that a fire hazard in the first place? Management should shape up and work. Management should be sure the employees are working. If management is unable to hire adequate help due to franchise or corporate leader restrictions then franchise and corporate, get YOUR act together. This is a new store. Seriously? Your standards are offensive. Get it together.

There was a young lady that you had working there on Sunday morning, March 31, 2019. She is very disrespectful, I bought toothpaste and mouthwash, she laid a bag on the counter and picked up her cellphone to start texting. I didnt even really see her face because she didnt greet me and she has a tatoo on her hand, which is the only way I have to identify her. I had to bag my own purchases and she just looked away as if to say, Thats it, Im done. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in my life. There needs to be a rating for zero stars.

Always junky and cluttered. You cant shop because you cant get to the merchandise. They need to hire more people to stock the shelves. The employees seem unbothered by the clutter.
