THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY & HELPFUL. THEY KNEW THE PRODUCTS I NEEDED. VERY WELL INFORMED. ALWAYS KIND & POLITE. NOT LIKE WALMART WHO ARE RUDE & CANT BE BOTHERED HELPING PEOPLE WHO REALLY NEED IT. I WILL TAKE THE STAFF AT ACE OVER OTHERS ANY DAY.

Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks. That holds true for this store. The employees here are friendly, courteous and helpful. Several times as I was walking through the store they asked if there was anything they could help me with. They brought me a cart to put my purchases on. There is a lot of interesting merchandise here, all very reasonably priced. It definitely had a hometown feel which was evident by listening to the conversations between the employees and their regular customers. I have always been able to find what I needed at Ace Hardware. They will offer helpful advice on the best way to get things done too, you’re not gonna find that in the big box stores. They also helped me lift the heavy stuff into the car which is very thoughtful, considerate and good customer service. The store is clean, well stocked and very organized. There’s plenty of parking with easy access to the store. Overall great shopping experience.

People were very helpful. Bathroom was spotless. We arrived before the posted open time and they opened the doors a few minutes early.

Our small town hardware store where grown men can answer questions and make recommendations on how to diy projects and repairs. Very helpful. Wish they would do home maintenance classes for women.

I have been shopping at Cowans Ace Hardware for about 5 years the staff has always been very nice and friendly and helpful I had been looking at the Exmark zero turn for a couple years and I finally decide to purchase one best lawn mower ever

Ive been doing business with Cowan for 20 years but not anymore. I bought a brand new chain saw got it home and it wouldnt half run took it back and told the sales person I had just bought it and was having problems he than without even looking at it told me I must have miss used it and it would be 2 to 3 weeks before they could look at it. Left there went to lashley tractor in Lithonia and bought a echo brand that is bigger and seem to be built better than chain saw I got at Cowan. And the last words Jessica the sale associate said to me was if you have any problems bring it back. Never again Cowan.Update 8/3/2021 after leaving this review I was contacted by Tim and although it wasnt his store where this happened he apologized and ask me to bring my chain saw in to him and he would personally have it fixed under warranty. Thank you Tim.

First time visiting here since I moved to Conyers a couple of years ago. Lindsay assisted me with a new battery for my key fob. I actually phoned ahead to see if they carried the battery I needed and spoke to Lindsay. When I arrived, she was looking for me and remembered my name. She got what I needed and replaced the old one while I was there. This stores employees are very kind and helpful. I will surely go back here.

Bought a replacement handle for a Bush ax and good rubber gloves. This is the only place with the handle and a good selection of rubber gloves. Much higher quality and better selection than home depot. The tool selection is the best.

Not very good......worker in racial profiled me ..... I was in the store with tools trying to assemble a swaging cable and the man came up saying that I was doing it wrong and he didnt even know what the tool is or how to use it (having spent many years in us navy...using such tools i knew how to use it but was trying to figure out how to get the swages done in a neat manner with this style of the tool. )he then proceeds to ask me if I am going to pay for the tool. What audacity(or should i say what assumption) ....because I am a black man Im going to use the tool am not play for it .....now heres the question! Would he done that to a white customer?.

The inventory.may be limited compared to big box stores BUT they more than make up for it in knowledge and caring that Your project gets done right the first time.

Went there the first time to purchase a key fob for my car. Had the key cut and the fob programmed at half the cost of the dealership. The young lady who does the programming knows her stuff. The customer service was the best.The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They are a little ways from my home, but when I need hardware supplies, I will make it a point to shop here.

I didnt have a good experience at this store...I had the socket in hand to be fitted for the right size bulb I needed and was still sold the wrong bulb..

Thank God for this place. Its good to know good ol fashion shops like this are still around. I went in an hour ago to get a plumbing part, I happened to have on a KISS shirt, & me & a couple of the employees talked for a few minutes about Gene Simmons. So so pleasant, like we were old friends. Other places need to take note of how to treat customers, like an old friend. 🖒🖒🖒 Ill be back to Cowan ace hardware again.

Dropped of my mower for service they always take care of us

Very nice store. Location is kind of difficult to access. Its at the back of an old shopping plaza. So if you hadnt been there before you might pass it the first time. But the tools are good and inexpensive its a wide variety. I wish I had more metric it would make working on my car lot easier since it is a German made car in a lot of the screws are metric. But other than that the staff is nice stores were late and in a very safe area.

The people at the ACE Hardware are very nice but they need to wear masks....they have a partition but they are not always behind it and they, for the most part, they do not wear masks....I will go to a store where the employees do....I am a senior and at risk....they are putting me at risk....

Always have what you need for the job

Cant answer a simple question. I called to ask if this was a black owned business, the lady that answered the phone said she didnt know she then asked if I would like to speak to a manager. When the manager answered the phone I then asked if this is a black owned business, she said its American owned. Then she proceed to ask me was I black, am I American. A simple no would have been fine.
