Great experience. You can tell the doctor was passionate about his craft and he took the time to explain what was going on with my eyes. And the selection of glasses? Awesome!! So many styles and colors! I loved it. And they were very helpful and patient in helping me step out of my comfort zone and choosing an awesome pair of new glasses.

What a find! Firstly, my refraction was easy and the doctor very knowledgeable, kind and courteous. With my new prescription I am seeing better than I have in years! And the frames! They have the best selection for every taste. Personally, I like funky, unusual frames and they hit it out of the ballpark. My cousin, who went with me, is more conservative, and she ended up buying 3 pairs of glasses. All are beautifully crafted. This practice is exactly what I was looking for. It was referred to me by an optometrist friend who was at that time on maternity leave. She had worked in a few places, but insisted I go see Dr. Sonsky. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and directed to the front desk where a sweet receptionist had me fill out paperwork. The doctor took our temperatures, and we were led to the examination room immediately- we did not have to wait at all. The room was clean, and decorated nicely which put my daughter at ease since this was her first eye exam. The doctor was kind and professional, and completed all the tests himself.This was a relief for me since my last eye place (Royal Palm & University) had a bad vibe, run down waiting area with chairs full of tears, cracks, and peels. The high office staff turnover rate was an indication that it wasn’t a pleasant place to work. I always waited thirty minutes or longer, and had to switch rooms repeatedly (and had to wait in each room again). The overall feel of the place made me unsure of the quality of equipment which was be used.So glad I discovered Eye Contact West!

Ive been going to Dr Sonsky for over 30 years except for one time Sears was having a special, big mistake. It was years ago and I learned my lesson, you get what you pay for, specials are over rated. If youre thinking of changing optometrist dont hesitate to go see Dr Sonsky, hes the best. He knows what hes doing and has no problem making sure he fits you with the right prescription if you feel something just isnt right. Hell keep trying till you feel comfortable. What a shame, after years of good service, my daughter lost her glasses on Sunday 9-20-20. I called on the following Monday to come in for an exam and new glasses, the call taker told me she couldnt get us in until Oct. 9? I said to her that I wasnt sure if she heard that it was sorta an emergency and she said that was the best they could do. She said she would call if they had a cancellation, still waiting. We got appointment the next day at several places and had my daughters new glasses by Thurs thanks to Joann at Eyes on Atlantic. Years of customer loyalty bringing 3 kids to their business.
