Very happy they have Saturday appointments in that I work full time and it would be hard to see them during the week. Text reminders for the appointment we’re helpful. Once there, everyone was super helpful and friendly. Looking forward to getting my new glasses!

My visit to Larkspur Landing Optometry came because I was dealing with an emergency. I start there because I want you to understand that my anxiety was already at about a 10 on a scale of 1-10.The next problem that I was dealing with is the fact that I just started a new job and my health insurance ended June 30 and my new plan wont kick in until August 1. The day that I had my emergency was Wednesday, July 14.That brings me to my third stressor before ever coming to see the doctor, I work in SF and get off work at 5pm, so I needed a doctor with evening hours. Thankfully this office stays open until 8pm on Wednesdays.I arrived at 7. The young man who works there was very kind and asked me all of the right questions and when he got to the one about insurance, I start to over explain and he was very patient. My fear was that he would turn me away, I assured him that I was willing and able to pay out of pocket because I needed to see the doctor. He listened, and understood my challenge and reassured me that I would get in to see the doctor as soon as the current patient was done.Sure enough by 7:30 I was seeing the doctor and she was pleasant and most importantly knowledgeable and was able to tell me what was causing my discomfort and give me a very simple way to apply a warm compress [hint: boiled egg].I was on my way and they were able to close the office at 8. I highly recommend this office and once my insurance kicks in this will be where I get my eye care needs taken care of.

I have been going to see Doctor Day for about 15 years. I saw her other Doctor and she was amazing! Very thorough, complete eye exam, dilation, wow that was fun. But very pleased with her and the office staff, always a great experience!

Dr. Gina Day is AMAZING! She is so experienced and knows how to work with a complicated prescription and patients desire for a tall list of wishes. So glad to be back at her practice. Im wearing the trials I got from her yesterday and it has been working in all difference situations, work (multiple computers varying in size), playing the piano and reading music sheet, and bike riding etc. Keeping my fingers crossed Ill end with contacts that will improve quality of life instead getting constant headaches.

The staff were kind and professional.. I was early for my appointment and the staff took me in and showed me around like a good ole friend would do.. I was in and out within 30-45 minutes for a whole eye exam to picking out my glasses..I would recommend to any of my friends that need there eyes checked...

Very helpful experience where the optometrist explained everything in laymans terms so I understand what is wrong and what I should do. In an out relatively quickly and have nothing but good words about this place.

Dr. Day has worked diligently with me to address vision deterioration in my right eye that is probably related to the onset of cataracts. In November, an ophthalmologist give me a prescription that I used for pair of desk glasses made at Larkspur Landing optometry. Dr. Day rechecked me yesterday because I was not seeing well out of that pair of glasses.She was able to give me a better prescription, and sent the desk glasses back to have new lenses put in at no cost to me, even though she isn’t the one that gave me the bad prescription. I also want to give a shout out to Josh who has helped me select several pairs of frames. Rather, he has helped my wife select several pairs of frames for me and managed to come up with solutions that we all like. He is great to work with. Works for landing optometry has a great selection of frames. And they take my VSP vision insurance plan from work, which makes everything really affordable.

Dr Bautista was Wonderful with my nearly 12-year-old who was coming in for a repeat eye exam, updated eyeglasses and also an evaluation for contacts! Not sure the contact thing will workout, but if it does it will because of the patience of Josh, the optician who was helping Jake learn how to put them in and take out:) Our whole family comes here and would recommend them highly for all your eye needs!

Dr. Day and her staff do a great eye exam and explain everything very well. Unlike some optometrists, I’ve never felt pressure to buy “their” glasses, and when I have bought glasses there, they are very helpful with maximizing my vision plan benefits.

I would heartily recommend Larkspur Landing optometry to anybody. I arrived late for my appointment at the end of the day, but they were completely gracious and took great care of me anyway. I was walked through all potential glasses options very thoughtfully and never felt like I was getting an upsell. All of the different financial costs were explained to me in advance, and I was given plenty of options and points to make choices to ensure that what I was paying what I could afford. Five stars. Highly recommended.

I had the most awful experience with the Doctor. Gina Day.. She nearly threw me out of her office after I asked her to let me know before she puts the bright light up against my eye because it gets irritated by the bright light and sunlight. I strongly felt it was because of my race that she yelled at me and then ran to the front door and told me to leave her establishment in front of customer and employees. I was speachless.. Im seriously thinking about legal action.

Staff is pleasant and environment is clean. However I had a pretentious customer that brought his bike into the store and cut in front on me in line. This shouldnt happen now, or in Covid without staff redirecting self important narcissists.

This was my first time at Larkspur Landing Optometry (now located in Corte Madera), and i am so happy that i was referred to this business. Because I visited during COVID, I have to say that the staff really went above and beyond to make sure all safety guidelines were met and exceeded and I never once felt threatened that I may be putting myself at risk by being seen there. She actually gave me information that will make me safer anytime i am out in public in regards to my mask . Also, i absolutely LOVED the optometrist, Gina. She made me feel comfortable, was super easy to talk to and taught me things I had never once learned before in my 15 years of wearing contacts and glasses. She is also very eco-conscious and let me know that not only is the packaging my contact lenses come in recyclable, but so are the contact lens themselves and you can bring all of your user contacts to her and she will mail them off to be recycles into new plastic. I had a wonderful experience being seen here and would highly recommend this optometry office to anyone.

My visit was fine, my insurance on the hand was confusing and frustrating for creating a delay. Overall they were nice and helpful the apointment went smooth i highly recommend but the building is a bit tricky to spot . also the stomping from the floor above is a bit nerve racking however. Overall im satisfied . if you need new glasses or your eyes checked i recommend here. However if you are with California partnership insurance please 2x no tripple check your status. Dr day is a delight i would definitely go there again for my optometry needs. And now... We wait for my new glasses 👓 to arrive.

It was my first time here and the staff was super welcoming. They were super hygenic and was prepared for COVID. Had hand sanitizer and alcohol wipes ready outside for patients. They all wore masks and made me feel safe. The optometrist was amazing and she made me feel comfortable!

Very good experience here. While it took a few days for the appointment (there is no difference really than other optometrists in the area) they had excellent presence on my insurers site so that i could schedule online through them. Very convenient. When you get there, they have a good system to deal with Covid and incoming customers with outside chairs and sanitizers. Dr. Gina Day is terrific and really does a thorough job of eye exams and with a smile, wonderful personality and expertise. The equipment used for eye exams are probably par for the course, ie currrent, but not fully the edge of innovation but it certainly does the trick. They have an excellent and broad line of glasses in the store for view and trial. Normally I have a hard time finding even one pair i really like where I found about a dozen. So that was great. As for pricing, yes, you can go online and get frames cheaper than here but with my insurance, i was able to get a very affordable and stylish frames. Since I need progressive lens, they are expensive no matter what. While I havent received my glasses yet, I cannot provide feedback on that but up this point highly recommend Larkspur Landing Optometry.

I went to see Dr. Bautista (not sure of spelling) at the new place in Corte Madera. I needed a pressure check for my glaucoma and she could not have been more accommodating and pleasant. She even assured me that my reading will be sent to my ophthalmologis in San Francisco. The office really respects social distancing with hand sanitizers placed outside, before you even enter through the front door.

The whole staff was professional and nice to me. My eye exam was very thorough and I felt care for.

Eye exam was great and very thorough. After that, no one seemed particularly interested in helping me pick out glasses. I ended up having to leave after sitting there for 30 min.Update: I went back in after the response and worked with them on a new pair of glasses. They were very professional and accommodating. The selection of glasses is really good and the process of choosing lenses and frames was easy. I can recommend their services after the new experience.

Great service! The Dr. is the best, she listened to my concerns (I had a contact stuck in my eye) and she did a very thorough exam. Got some recommendations on care as well. Since I was there and I hadnt used my yearly benefits I took the opportunity to get new glasses, they have a great selection, I was able to order a pair and I got it one week later! Everything went smoothly and Ill continue going to them.

Gina Day was good. The rest of the staff must have been new, because they had no idea what they were doing. Also, very crowded, which surprised me given Covid protocols. They referred me to an ophthalmologist who I saw a couple days later. That ophthalmologist contacted them but they couldn’t find my records from three days prior. So the Opthamologist was frustrated and called me. I guess I now need to call the optometrist and remind them that they gave me an eye exam and referred me to this particular ophthalmologist, who would like to share information with them.

The optometrist was extremely rude discussing my prescription and her recommendations. I am new to contacts and didnt fully understand the information. She was rude and short with her answers which left me confused

It was not simply the professional courtesy extended to me but the personal attention as well as the thoroughness of the eye examination and concern they showed that deeply impressed me.
