We stayed a night in our 38 class A w/ toad, lots of room. There were lots of other campers. Quiet and safe areaWe shopped the next am the store was clean and had everything we needed.Thanks Walmart!

Get you an awesome alarm clock that has outlets and USB. Plus I has a back up battery built in. Very useful for sure =).

I ordered through instacart for pick up. I was in need of food for all of my animals. I pulled in to a spot, let them know by text that I was there and then opened my trunk access. Never had to get out of my vehicle. They loaded my items and I went home. Loved not having to go into the store 🙃

How does THE major retailer in Cortez, CO not keep adult masks stocked during a Pandemic? Is this local Walmart aiding the spread of Covid intentionally?

Decent Walmart, good place to get provisions. Store was fairly clean and stock was limited, quick to get what you needed and check out. Staff are friendly and helpful, plenty of parking with easy access to store.

Overnight stay in our 5th wheel RV. Very friendly manager when we called ahead to see if we could stay. They just requested we stay in the upper lot with the other RVs.It was a very popular stopover as we counted at least 15 other rigs with us and even someone that slept the night in a sleeping bag next to the curb by our trailer. Felt bad when we saw them in the morning because it was below freezing temps overnight. But it was quiet and safe. Great overnight stop.

This is the very first time Ive been here.Were came from LV to camp in Bayfield.This store was exceptionally nice,well organized,and the staff was super friendly-

Not sure where this particular Walmart was, Durango or Cortez (We shopped and stayed at both.), but we appreciate that we could overnight here and shop for some items we needed because they were open late. They didnt have some items we needed in stock is the reason I didnt give them 5 stars.

Very nice ! Well stocked Nice tire service, even made a last minute change and they were great about it. We were only passing thru but both times we visited we encountered a lady working the counter and area of the tire center i believe her name tag said Natasha and she was absolutely wonderful! She knew her area was friendly and very helpful not only did she find the right battery for my key fob but even changed the battery for me. Great customer service!

I went to the only cashier in the store and some would think she would be tired and maybe alittle grumpy but to my surprise she was very pleasant and very helpful. It was a real pleasure to have her for my cashier. Emily was wonderful. I will always look for her to have her check me out. Emily you are a real bonas to WalMart. I well shop there more ofter if I can find your hours. Thank you for making my shoping trip a pleasant one.

7/18/21 Needed a few things so I went to the local Walmart. Layout was a bit of from the ones in used to but the staff was happy to help. Not terribly busy. Pretty typical visit to Walmart.

Decent Walmart a lot of camping, RV and fishing gear. I purchased a footling sandwich from the deli and ate it the next day. It was very good.

Tried returning a pair of shoes in store and was told I could not because I didn’t have the receipt. Really? They made me feel like I stole the shoes because I didn’t have it. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We needed to pick up a few items for our camper, so we stopped at Walmart. We easily found what we needed and proceeded to go to self checkout. Nathaniel was overseeing the registers. He was so full of joy and incredibly helpful! You could tell he loved his job and he even stated so, all while being on oxygen!! Wow!! The world could use more Nathaniels!!! Great hire, Walmart!!

Its a Walmart. I feel forced to use Walmart as they are squeezing out all the small businesses everywhere and in a lot of places its the only place to shop its sad. The perception is they treat their employees very badly and until that changes Ill continue one star reviews.

It was clean and had exactly what we were needing. I was also glad to have an Associate check us out! I do not like self check outs!

Not very friendly when I bring back a warrantied device within a 2 week time period they tell its broken. Thats what happens when a drone takes three seconds to abort mission.

Did the shop online and no contact pick up. Went very smooth and very sweet considerate staff grocery loading ladies. Love the fact you can buy anything from the store and get it delivered and loaded to your vehicle. Definitely going back!

Walmarts are walmarts right? This was was so clean, organised and stocked it looked like a different place to my local shambolic Walmart.

All you can get with reasonable price. Limited products of Asian spices though. Would be nice to have more Asian products.

WalMart was not busy got our fishing license and supplies. Went to deli and the lady said sorry there not frying chicken today. I ask how long before you have any but was told not today. Then why you putting out mash potatoes and corn and gravy she just ignored me. I geuss no fried chicken for the picnic on fathers day.

I am ever thankful to be able to walk into this establishment and not be deemed a societal derilect from the moment I pass through the threshold... Thank you staff. Its nice when we arent judged prior to our experiences.

They sell expired on march 21 2021 pizza dough on May 10 2021, when returned it was shrugged off by the lady at the service return center as our fault because in her words I always look sale by dates when shopping. Its a big store..Now thats costumer service, make you feel like its your fault and insult you.

The good thing with Walmart is that while you are shopping, you may get wifi messages or otherwise get wifi connection. It makes us all winners.

One of my favorite place to shop, everything in o e place. Good prices, and good customer services.

Don’t order pickup here. You will spend more time in line than you will shopping for your items.This isn’t an exaggeration; they combine the lines for pickups with money orders, store returns, etc, despite there being a dedicated register and check-in kiosk for the pick up ordersThe employees were great though.

It is all the same only worse than you remembered. Hardly any toys. Electronics has become boring and sterile. No one can help you and you mostly have to check out yourself. You do all the work then have to play cashier and you arent getting paid.

Oh well I bought a bathing suit recently so I could use the hot tubs at the Cozy Inn.

Out of everything like mist of the time its ridiculous and when you ask someone when it might be restocked they are not friendly about it.

Actually this is a clean nice store. Some shelves were a little light on inventory but we found everything that was needed.

I often get hassled for my receipt when leaving. This is absolutely unnecessary and is not appreciated with greeter titles. (Bob continues to harass me) I am a guy that now says no thank you when beckoned for my receipt or I tell them I am stealing all of this...they go so far to read the bar codes to see if its the same on the receipt. Get the heck outta my way jokers! I also get frustrated when checking out...$200 + in groceries and only self check outs are open....

The Place is somewhat nice. The Staff is between friendly and rude. The customer greeter is friendly. Sometimes they have what I need in stock but sometimes they dont.

I enjoy going here but like usual, I didnt get everything I wanted bcuz they were out of stock. But it doesnt mean I wont be back to the place

Been to a lot of Walmarts and this one is definitely one of the friendliest and cleanest. I love the no worries attitude of the people of Cortez and the Walmart there reflects that in spades.

Wal-Mart pretty much is the local place to shop. The Cortez Wal-Mart serves 4 states. Very busy and even busier on week-ends, first of the month. There are a lot of seniors Native Americans, and seasonal tourist. OFTEN LINES ARE LONG. SOME people do not like self check out, they feel it has taken jobs away from locals who NEED THE JOB and WHO WILL IN TURN SPEND IN OUR COMMUNITY. Ordering is often not correct on items that are consistently out of stock. Just a small thing, reducing the fabric department is bad because you have to ACTUALLY go out of state for a fabric shop. The employees are always very busy trying to restock and help customers.

I called in advance to get a quote on the tire I was told how much it would be and I told them Id come right by they said no problem when I got there theres only one employee working in the tire area I was told that it would be several hours and that I should go sit in my car and they would get me as quickly as possible that this does not reflect anything on the females that were working in the automotive section but it definitely does reflect on the old crabby male who was the person who was working in the tire center if there is only one employee for that department I would strongly suggest that you hire someone else

Alot more stuff then other walmarts

Felt uncomfortable with how many people that weren’t wearing a mask, not only was that an issue but this Walmart does not have any hand sanitizer stations or wipes so you can wipe your carts down. Also the countertop of the conveyer belts are always dirty. You would think they would have someone cleaning with how busy this Walmart is.

Clean and curtious employees. Always busy, especially during the summer with tourist season.

Always a good overnight in the RV and a great place to restock on supplies.
