I brought my phone in for a simple screen rapair that was supposed to take only 3 hours. Instead of it taking 3 hours it took 10 days because the technician broke my phone. Throughout the 10 days my phone was gone, I had to call many times and each time they said they would have called me with an update but they didnt have a number for me. However, I had already given them a phone number to contact 4 different times. The kicker is the phone still doesnt work so I will be going back for a refund today. Im not even completely confident that they will give me a refund after breaking my phone. It is unreasonable and I have told absolutely everyone I know not to go to batteries + bulbs. I let them know it is worth going out of town for a phone repair where they will hold themselves accountable and have better customer service.

Ordered online for store pickup due to not being able to ship Lithium batteries. The manager called immediately after placing the order to confirm that the item was correct, and it was ready to go with very helpful staff when went to pick it up. Very pleased with service at all levels.

Needed a watch battery installed...Fred Meyer Jewelry dept said $20 if they could do it and I’d have to leave it with them for awhile so they could “figure it out” . I went to Bimart and they said $20 too, but couldn’t do it.Didn’t know Batteries Plus in Corvallis even existed til someone told me, but they did it in 5 min and it was going to be $13.99, but I opted for the $20 lifetime replacement service...I don’t know if his name is Dennis...but the guy who changed my watch battery was super helpful and based on the other employee deftly juggling different customers I’m guessing the whole team there is pretty awesome...lots of different services too, like screen repair for phones etc...

I went in to get my phone battery replaced after it completely died on me. They explained all my options to me, helpfully walked me through the process of what they could do, and even gave me a great deal on the service. They did the job in under 3 hours same day and my phone was working good as new afterword. I’m glad to have work done so quickly and kindly.

Had a very positive experience my car key had snapped off in the ignition away from the fob and I spent months using a pair of pliers to start my car. Thanks to these guys I managed to get a replacement fob and spare key so I dont have to go through this agai All together for the two keys my total was less than the price a dealership wanted to make a new key. Went to get our key fob fixed. Sales man took it into the back and took it a part. Brought it to us, said he had to order one for $90! It woukd take a week to get it.We live on the coast so that would have been inconvenient to us to come back get it. When we went to leave the remote did not work at all. Took it back in and the salesman was very rude to us stating he did not break it. It worked when we gave it to him. Salesman refused to do anything but argue with us. We will NEVER SHOP there again.

These guys came in clutch and helped me out of tight spot. When MY phone dropped it didnt break the screen but damaged the power button. It was jammed in the down position and they used outside the box thinking to solve a problem i was unable to. Not only was the price fair, but Patrick and his associates were super helpful answering my questions and very respectful at every step. I bought a car battery from here. It went dead after a few days of the car not being started. And the battery was only a couple weeks old. Then I got it jumped and a week later it died after a couple days of not being started. I bought a brand new battery and it was only good for a month now it dies after sitting for a couple hours. I wish I would’ve just went to an auto parts store.

Overall a good experience, however, there were a couple of issues that presented a minor frustration. First, the repair to my iPad was one day later than promised (not a big issue). The other issue was that I was told that I could receive a veterans discount of 10% off of the repair, however, when I picked it up, I was told that discount didnt apply to repairs - only products. He did take $10 off so that was something, but would be nice if the employees had a consistent story across the board.

Bobby was extremely helpful! He was the only employee there at the time and he took care of all the customers quickly, solved several weird problems for all of us, fielded phone calls, and did it all with a smile on his face. I am very happy with the service he provided and will definitely visit this store first if I have any electronics issues!

Wonderful experience today at Batteries Plus! Thought my phone was broken, they ordered me parts, but Id just put my screen protector on incorrectly. Erik did some trouble shooting and my phone was back, 100%. No charge. So gracious! Also got a good recommendation on the Simple Snap screen protector which he carefully applied. I called Batteries and Bulbs and spoke with Erick and he listened to me patiently even though it was close to closing time and assured me that if I drove from the coast to Corvallis that he would have what I needed. I arrived at the store this morning and was greeted by Bobby who found exactly what we needed. he also took the time to make sure that it worked in the device we needed the battery for. He made sure we got all possible discounts. He took the time to educate us on LED lights and which would work best for our needs. I needed a marine deep cell battery for my grandson. I first called & spoke to Patrick. He suggested I may want to get a charger & battery case and if I ordered the battery online I would get a 10% discount. I did that but ordered the wrong battery by mistake. I had a seamless smooth process, finding the UPS backup model I wanted, ordering it online with a small discount, and picking it up the same day at my local store from a salesperson who had the item already behind the counter and ready for me. I am fully satisfied.

My iPhone 6+ needed a new battery for sure but also because the battery was so swollen my phones mute and volume buttons didn’t work any longer. My screen also had a big white pressure spot from my battery. Mae from batteries plus totally took care of me she fix my mute and volume buttons, replaced my battery, and fix the pressure white mark on my screen in like 30-35 mins these guys are great! They also won’t lie to you and say they know more than they do but they do know a lot about repairing phones that’s for sure!! Thank you guys again!!

Incompetent people, and poor service. Purchased a motor cycle battery, it had to be filled with acid. They were busy so I gave them 5hrs to fill it before I returned, it still wasnt filled, no customers in the store and 3 people working. He had to go in the back and fill it while I had to wait. Got it home and 3 of the cells had no acid. Now need to make a 40 mile round trip to get resolved. Tried to call to let them know but was on hold for 10min before hanging up, I was just there, 3 people working and not a customer.

I meant to review a while back but here is my experience. I bought a battery for my moped in summer 2016 and i spent a little more to get the one that was estimated to last about a year longer with maintenance. I used it for the summer and then placed it on the battery tender that they recommended and sold to me. a year later, i placed the battery back in my moped and it was dead. i took it in and it was totally shot despite being kept on the tender they sold me... I wanted a replacement battery but because i didnt get to hooking it back in till a little later in the summer it was just out of warranty and they wouldnt do anything about it.If youre going to sell something, you should be ready to back it up. especially given the nature of the usage of the battery being confined to good weather months.If youre going to buy something, only get what you need, dont bother letting them upsell you on something that doesnt do anything. I will NOT shop here again and wouldnt recommend going here, to anyone i know.

I wish I never came here. I only gave them an additional star because they fixed one of their mistakes free of charge.My iPhone is almost 2 years old so I thought I’d replace my battery since it didn’t last quite as long as it initially did. I went in and had a new battery within a couple hours. Later that evening I noticed there was a spot on, seemingly, my outward facing camera’s lens, and was showing up in my picures. The next day I went in and let them know what was going on. An employee with dark hair, glasses, and a medium build assured me it was just a speck of adhesive that would come off quickly. I came back a couple hours later and they let me know they could not remove the speck, and that they took the phone apart entirely to try and locate the problem, even replaced the screen of my phone, but to no avail. He also said that it didn’t actually make sense that replacing the battery would have caused a speck on the camera lens. He then made a statement that implied it could have been there already and that it wasn’t caused by the Batteries + Bulbs people. I offered to show him pictures taken earlier from the same day I brought the phone in to them and he kind of backtracked on the statement. He said they would order a new camera and replace it for free. They also let me know they were having trouble getting the phone back together, so they were going to take each piece apart again to try and get it back together the way it was supposed to be. I left again and came back a couple hours later. They let me know they’d call me when the replacement camera came in. I picked up my phone and took it home, only to immediately notice the screen response was very poor, sometimes taking 12+ times to respond to touch. In addition, the screen displayed a few random bright and dark spots.A week later I received the call that the camera came in, we scheduled an appointment, and I brought the phone in the next day. I let the person helping me know about the screen issues I was having, and the person recognized that the screen was having some sensitivity issues. The same employee with dark hair, glasses, and a medium build approached us and took a look at my phone for a brief moment. He didn’t see the screen display inconsistencies in the brightly lit store, and walked away mumbling something about they can’t fix every miniscule problem my phone was having. This came across as quite rude to me, and I would have been open to discuss this issue, but he walked away and ignored me.I picked up my phone later that day, the camera was replaced and seems to work fine, but I still am dealing with the screen issues that arose after they took my phone apart.From my perspective I brought in a perfectly functioning phone, they messed it up, fixed some of the issues, and made me feel like I’m a pain in their butt. It looks like the store has generally good reviews, so I didn’t expect to experience this issue, and definitely didn’t expect to experience a rude employee, but I hope this review is helpful.

Never have I been there and either found exactly what I needed or an expert advise of how to fix my problem or where to go to get it fixed. All this has always come with friendly help and a big smile. I am beyond satisfied with their products and even more with their service.

I wasnt going to publicly discuss my experiences because I hoped it was just a misinterpretation on my part but after reading Jills review - I must say that Ive encountered similar behavior by an employee at the Corvallis store. One employee - a shorter than average guy with a medium build and dark hair, I also remember glasses - gave me a similar look that felt creepy and just odd. That was bad enough but when he went to the back to look for an item, he put his hand on my shoulder and said hes be right back. He may not intend to seem lecherous, but that is the vibe I get. Some staff - a tall guy and blonde gal - are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable so Id love to go back to this store but Mr. Touchy/Starey makes me uncomfortable.

I showed up here when they were closing and I was going to have a very difficult time getting home without a new battery. Bobby stayed late and put a new battery in my car saving my day. I had an awesome experience.

The staff was unprofessional. He installed my car battery with secure bracket unscrewed. I went back the next day and he had no idea how to install the bracket correctly. I had to told him where to secure the bracket. I also needed to tell him a longer bolt was needed since the battery they recommended is higher than the original one. During the re-installation, he tried to convince me the battery was secured when the bracket was in wrong position, the bolt was loose and I could wiggled the battery easily. He said did nothing wrong and might charge me extra labor fee to fix the problem.

Batteries+ had replaced a cracked iPhone screen for me before, so I went back to them when my phone jack became loose and had trouble connecting to the charger. They said they could replace the jack, but before charging me the 90$, they were able to clean out the jack and get it working properly. What I thought was an irrepairable loose connection was only a dirt buildup in the jack. It isnt often you find such knowledgeable and helpful clerks willing to work a problem and save you money instead of just going through the sale process.

I just had the BEST service at the Corvallis Batteries+Bulbs store! I took my iPhone in for repair (cracked screen), and not only did they do a professional job, but they were done an hour early!

Overall the service at this store is great. I have one concern - one employee, I think his name is bobby? - walked into the store - maybe off of a break and he smelled like hed been smoking pot. I realize its legal to smoke it in Oregon but Im disappointed that you have an employee who seems to be smoking while at work. Not ok.
