My experience at this storage unit was pretty unacceptable. I was expecting that a storage facility would keep my things safe and dry and this place certainly did not do that.I rented two units from Corvallis Self Storage, a 5x10 and a 10x10, both part of the corrugated roofing units (as opposed to the shingled units). After moving things into my units, I came back a few days later to find that the 10x10 had leaked a substantial amount of water (literally puddles) onto the items in the unit and the 5x10 had a small leak as well. I should mention that originally I was going to put my things in another 5x10 but I noticed water on the floor so I got one that looked dry (my mistake, I should have left right there and then). In my experience with this place they went 3/3 with leaking units.At the very least I would expect that Corvallis Self Storage hire a moving crew to take my things to the new place after such a mess up on their part but instead I had to spend hours during the holidays moving my wet things to another storage facility in town. And then I literally had to call the managers of the storage unit it Portland to get a refund on the units because they dont offer refunds. I did finally get a refund BTW, but considering the circumstances I wouldnt expect them to fight about it. It just adds to my negative review.The only redeeming quality of this place that I could see was that the woman at the front desk was very kind about the whole thing, especially considering I was pretty upset and not exactly being nice about it.If youre looking for a storage facility to keep your things safe and dry I would recommend looking at Walnut Blvd Self Storage or Crystal Lake Storage, or at the very least DOUBLE CHECK to make sure any unit you think about renting at this place is dry.

I left after several years because they just kept raising the rent every year. Just recently they socked us with a $13 per month insurance charge on top of what they were already charging us. I went to another place and managed to get twice the amount of space with easier access and the price was less. I dont understand how anyone can say they are a good deal. I was a customer of theirs and never missed my rent for over 3 years but the price just kept going up and up and up. I dont see any change in sight so if you want to rent there be my guest.

I was very pleased with the customer service here. They were very professional and helpful and the process was quick and easy with good rates. In all I would give a 10/10 for convenience and customer service.

Literally the nicest people. BJ worked with me the whole time during my move from Oregon to Virginia. Very affordable and they work with as long as you let them know ahead of time. Great service and friendly faces!
