Mike eased my concerns about shipping and the shipping service ran a little late (was about -20 degrees in MN) and let me about 1 mile from my home in a commercial parking lot. Driver was very friendly as well.It has been over 2 months since my purchase and I’ve cruised the salt-free roads many times and turned several heads with the upgraded appearances.If I look for a used vehicle in the future, I will check SoCal Auto Motors again!

I bought 2 Honda CRVs from these guys, and I won’t shop anywhere else. They don’t have any wiggle room to negotiate, but their cars are like-new with low miles, so it makes sense. They don’t sell junk, or cars that need work. My car didn’t even need an oil change. A++ 👌🏼

Purchased a 2005 mustang gt from them. After lots of searching through every other mustang within forty miles they had the best price I could find by a good margin. Our experience was fast and enjoyable. The paperwork portion took maybe 20 minutes and we were all set. Took the car for a long drive and everything works great. Would definitely recommend them and will be looking into their stock next time Im in the market for a used car.

Don’t buy anything from these sheisters! Expressed to them that I was purchasing my 16 year old son his first car. I was interested in a 2006 Ford Mustang. Paid $5000. Looked really good from the outside but it turned out to be a 🍋. Almost $8000 in repairs needed. It’s broke down twice so far. Already invested a $1000 in repairs. Only had it for THREE months! 😔

I went to checkout a Honda Accord and looked at their inventory and they have a nice selection of cars and they all looked clean. Looked at a 2012 Hyundai Elantra they had and it really cought my eyes. Mike was really generous and gave me a discount on it so I can afford it with my budget. Would give a zero star if possible these people are selling bad cars bought a lemon car from them with recalls and over 6000 in cost in repairs car was unsafe for me and my kids to drive in. lied to me yelled at me as well. pregnant and due in 3 days and in bed rest treated me aweful. getting an attorney now. watch out they are scam artists. told me vehicle was in immaculate condition. everything had been checked and had no problems. they are liars. got the registration as well to find out they charged me a lot for a registration that ends in 3 months after i purchased the vehicle. paid 6700 for car and repairs are equal to the cost i paid all of the bad reviews for here are very true. have your own mechanic take a look first if purchasing a car here. owner went with husband to test drive and wouldnt stop talking the whole time to keep him distracted. here is list of things needed to be fixed that was told didnt have any repairs needed.extended warranty is only going to cover for repair of power steering pump anad rack and pinion; they will cover 100%of parts but aftermarket and partial part of labor. total amount that they will cover is $1235.00 ---- you will be responsible for partial labor which is $500.00the following items will be in order of priority:*power steering high pressure line leaking $533.82*timing belt package ( timing belt, drive belt, timing belt tensioner, cam and crank oil seal, coolant and water pump) $1250.00 ----- drive belt is brittle and deterioration, tensioner not holding tension.*sliding door bearing for both doors $697.00*front engine mount collapse $601.19*side engine mount collapse $283.11*hea shields, exaust pipe and honey comb inside cat converter deteriorating $2362.19

Had a good experience...was a little nervous at first because of negative reviews, but the car turned out good and the price was fair. I would reccomend.

Firstly, I need to accept my part in this experience. I went into it believing that we would get a fair deal on a car; that the dealer would be honest. Based on prior YELP ratings, I was encouraged. Secondly, we were naive and inexperienced with the consumer protection clause of our contract. Today, that is no longer the case, and we will know how to proceed in the future, thanks to the shadiness of this dealer.1. At first glance, Mike and his brother are nice people. Very helpful. They provided a CarFax report and answered our questions. We got the obligatory: I have lots of others who want to look it. It was fairly typical.2. We negotiated the KBB fair market value for the vehicle, I believe, although given the need for work on the vehicle, probably not.3. Mike told us that they purchased it at a CarMax auction where they normally leave a page on it with the issues of the car. According to Mike, there was nothing on the page. Therefore, we thought we were buying a low-miles, older, well-maintained car with no issues.4. We agreed on a price and signed the contract. We also paid extra for the California consumer protection clause that allows us to return the car in the event of buyers remorse. They were amazed that we were willing to pay it. They had never met anyone who had done this before.5. We found out that they overcharged us for that fee. They charged us $350 and said there would be a restocking fee of $350. In doing a little more research, for the price of the car, they should have only charged us $125.00 AND there is no restocking fee.6. The car needs work. We have a reputable, inexpensive friend who fixes cars. We now know we need to put in at minimum of $500 due to leaks in the rear manifold and transmission. So much for CarMax indicating that the car was clean via Mike.7. When we called Mike to tell him that wed like him to consider paying for the $500 or we would return the car, he was aggressive and showed his true colors (see 1 star Yelp review). They wanted to try to charge us an additional $350 re-stocking fee (this is contrary to the law). When we proposed that he couldnt, he berated my husband over the phone.8. When he called back to say that they would waive the $350 restocking fee (of course!), I told him that it would be easier for him to give us the $500 dollars. He responded with if you wanted a perfect car, you should go buy it new. This was uncalled for.9. Given the antics of these car dealers, we have decided to keep the car to spare anyone else any issues with it. Mike and his brother were willing to take it back, but we worry that we will have to deal with more verbal abuse. Were eating the money and hoping nothing else goes wrong with it.The bottom line: Dont trust the word of these sellers. If you can get the used car checked out before buying, negotiate it. Also, if you decide to pay for the protection, know your rights. We didnt know enough as we arent seasoned car buyers. After this experience, we know we wont grace SoCal Auto Motor’s doorstep. You may want to think about it too.
