One of my favorite places to grocery shop. Food is fresh and the variety is awesome. Prices are reasonable at the moment. Their staff is totally happy and friendly. Nick, the butcher, Trinity, Nicole, Gerard, Heather and Sean in bakery have superior customer service and it is always a joy to see them. Thank you, Vons!

Extremely clean, light and easy to shop. Make sure you use a Vons/Pavillion membership Card. Full price without it is outrageously high on some items.

They are pricey. I get my fruits and veggies here. Still I end up spending a lot more then what had in mind. I feel like while things are already expensive, big names raise a little higher for the same reason, the name. Still though, staff members are always nice. Store always looks nice and clean.

Went in for specific items (high pH water in cans) - found some (none, anywhere else). Completely done with plastic. Aluminums somewhat better than paper (reusable & easily cleanable). Score! Stock wad low, so a recheck is in order, today.

Large parking lot, always a spot. Carts available at the entrance, shopping baskets too, disinfecting wipes available at the entrance as well. Lots of specials and online coupons. Produce is great and the meat is good quality too. We love when the ranchera is on sale. Friendly and helpful employees. Havent run into any situation for complaints so overall nice grocery store.

This is my go to market. I don’t get out much so I appreciate the nuances of customer service. Heather and Theresia are the best and you’ll understand why if they assist in checking you out.I’ve scoped out the area and Ralph’s, Gelson’s, Stater’s, and Mother’s aren’t as wholesomely consistent in quality as I’ve had here.It nice to have a good go-to market.

Great place in the area for some shopping while waiting for family window shopping in the same commercial complex. You can buy coffee at the Signature Cafe (inside). You can also covert coins into money bills insides using some vending machines.

Grocery store. Well maintained. Glad that theyve installed self check out kiosk.

Great experience at the bakery with Gabby, she made a cake for my husband at the last minute I was so thankful and grateful I was able to have the cake I wanted it for him thank you Gabby I will be coming back for my future cakes you rock!!!!

I started going to Ralphs years ago because at the time Vons seemed more expensive and personnel wasnt as friendly... but that has improved.

Mask required. Self-checkout if you like. Some staple items on quantity sale... mix-n-match 5... things like that.

Found everything I wanted. They have lots of nice store-prepared or baked items. Pretty high prices though compared to same items at Walmart.

Manager followed my roommate i around and said rude things because we went to trader Joes first and had to bring our bags in with us as we dont have a car. Offered to let the manager search my bags because he was making rude comments again about why did we bring our trader Joes with us.. when i offered him to search my bags he told me its ok we already had people watching you.. We didnt have to shop at vons too but we wanted to. This shouldve been handled way differently.

Its been a while since I came to Vons for a sandwich, I used to be a staple for me. Christopher helped me out today and made me a terrific TBA! Ill be stopping by here for lunch more often.

I had an enjoyable experience at Vons on 17th street, my cashier was Nora, and she was cheerfully pleasant, organized, and knowledgeable. The store was spotless, including the fresh produce, which I found to be equally orderly and inviting so kudos to the store manager as well. Overall, I highly recommend this particular Vons store to all of my family and friends.

Great staff of checkers at this Vons on 17th St. Knowledgeable, friendly & efficient team. Some of the OGs checkers Theresia, Heather, Nora, Keith, Nicole are so friendly and super efficient. The produce department is also great and always try to keep their produce in stock. Im just really impressed with how friendly and nice the staff are, especially with all the things thats been happening today in 2020. Appreciate all the hard work and remember that the staff are all people too. Give them the respect and love for all the hard work and dedication they do!

I usually go to Albertsons...... But it is gone now. No worries... there are two Vons Markets in Costa Mesa. $5 Friday deals are excellent. Shop the ads and you can enjoy shopping at a higher end grocery store and stay in your budget.

This place is worth trying. They have large portions for fair prices. Regularly neat and with awesome ambience. I highly recommend this place.

Edward needs counseling on basic customer service. My friend and I were going through his line somewhere between 2pm and 3pm. My friend had a coupon that he forgot to give Edward and when I reminded him Edward said its too late . Extremely arrogant and and rude. I told him I wanted to see a manager and what I received was attitude. He reluctantly gave my friend his money back and asked me if I had a problem. I told him I certainly did. I had never witnessed such a rude and arrogant attitude. I will not return to this Vons again. I will be talking to the main office.

Store was clean and plenty of parking, the aisles werent full of merchandise but had all the basics and more. The checkout lines well marked, and the cashier was very amicable any great.

Vons supermarket is quick and easy place to get your groceries. This Vons has a deli, to get fresh cold cuts for sandwiches. The deli also prepares fried chicken daily. While picking up your fried chicken dont forget to get some macaroni and potato salad to go along with your chicken. Made fresh daily in the deli is also soup. They usually make four different types of soup.

Never Enough Checkers at this store now I used to love Vons and theres a huge history in my family of grocery workers that go back into the original Vons before it became a huge conglomerate of what it is today and unfortunately most of the grocery stores have forgotten that people are more than just dollar signs at any rate everything that I find there is good but theres never enough Checkers even if you only have a few items they have few Checkers and its very frustrating to stand there waiting and waiting for them to get another check or call down to the front and several times I go up and ask them would you call for more help which is a customer I shouldnt have to do at any rate its a clean store the Delhi leaves a lot to be desired as they let a lot of food I went up to get something I wanted and asked how old it was and the deli manager replied 3 hours and I said dont you think thats a little old? And he said well will refresh it and when I waited for it to be refreshed I dont know if it was really refreshed or not because what I got was just as hard and tough as what looked to be 3 hours old that was already in their container out for purchase. So they need a lot of help in that Deli. Very cute grocery stores I should add have top-of-the-line delis there grocery store Deli is not a dedicated out Deli so you really cant fault them for not being an actual deli style deli.

If you shop here, I urge you to check the expiration dates on everything that you buy!!! Everything that I purchased at this store on June 6th expired at least a week prior. This is not the first incident I have had with this store selling expired food.

Ripped off not the first time. No rainchecks. Just a switch and bait game . Will not guarantee that all groceries you paid for are given to you. Yeah, we are in a pandemic but this doesnt mean to screw the consumers.where are my bags missing . You put them on the shelf to double dib it and yet your incompenta worker will not give me the bbags.i have spent over a 100 and you still dont appreciate customer loyalty

I stopped by and waiting for another pickup close to the Vons grocery store. I have shopped their before purchase a roast beef sandwich to go. The sandwich was good.

If I give more stars Id be jumping the gun.New store for me. Ive only managed to show up here because they are open until 1 am.My hours are extremely odd so remembering Im hungry and havent eaten is usually between 11 and 1 am. So extra points for staying open Vons.Now my waistline has a fighting chance. Beautiful store, convenient location. The weekly specials are really good. Twice I was eating steak for a week @ $4.88 a pound.

This store is well-located and easily accessible, but still far enough off the main stretch heading toward the beach that it is fairly quiet and frequented mostly by locals from the surrounding neighborhood. It gets the usual after-work rush from about 6-7 PM, but otherwise tends to be a quick checkout.

Ive been shopping at this Vons store for over 20 years and they normally very efficient and fast. most of the employees are long term employees and great! however today manager LoraALLOWED a line TO forms 6 or 8 people long. SHE takes the 1st person allows my larger Basket to move over as she opens a New register. Then when I get to the registrar Says I have too many items in my basket.The line that I had been in however everyone had moved forward.I hope the store gets back-to the way it had been for the. Twenty minutes to get through

Good location for when Im over in that area. They are so much more expensive than my Stater Bros.

Almost every employee there is grumpy and miserable. The only person that ever talks in a pleasant way is the butcher with all the tattoos but I havent seen him there in awhile. Today I took a heavy item out of my cart to hand to the cashier so they wouldnt have to come around and get it out of my cart and he said I dont know what youre going to do with that. Seriously? If you all hate your jobs, quit and find something else that suits you and let more deserving people have the job.

Put the self checkouts back in so I dont have to wait behind 4 people. I could have been home 15 minutes earlier. You people have no idea how to run a grocery store. If you didnt have all the corner locations, you would be gone.

I like their specials, very nice. But this morning as I was watching the older guy who was putting containers of fruits and vegetables on shelves not wearing his MASK. I approached him and very nicely mentioned to him about his MASK. He simply looked at me and said I know I am not having my mask. The question is if hes sick and breathing on the products hes transferring it to many people. I am sure that theyre not going to remove the stuff from the shelves. I did complain.
