Incredible people ! I’ve been going here since 80’s and still love coming here . They always make accommodations to the best of their ability. Very thoughtful and cordial staff. I don’t think there is better eye doctor or team anywhere.

This place is AMAZING! I Highly recommend! I just moved to the area and needed to get my eye’s checked. My perception was outdated and it had been 3 years since I got them checked! I don’t have eye insurance so I dragged it out as long as possible. Not only is this place affordable, but all the products are quality. They all are incredibly helpful! I walked out with 3, yes 3 new pairs of glasses and new contacts! I have never been more happy with the products I have received! Chanda and Bob were so helpful and kind!

I have been going to Wahl since I was a teenager. Bob and Shanda are so nice. They treat me and my family so well. The Doctors are also great. Not only Are staff kind and welcoming they have the best deals on glasses. Everyone at Wahl truly cares!!

Came twice. Was charged more than initially quoted both times but chalked that up to “taxes” or whatever, but come to find out they missed the face I have advanced closed angle glaucoma. LosersWish I could rate 0 starsShopko optical saw my problem immediately

I am not sure this place deserves a one star. I should have walked out and never ordered glasses. So much wrong here. They pushed me to the Brand name frames, all 40 they had. I had to ask about the room off to the side and he said those are our discounted frames, you can look there I guess. Still charged me full price of what my insurance would pay for the frames. Basically they charged a total of $897.00 to my insurance for an eye exam WHICH WAS WRONG BY THE WAY!!!!!!!!! After a month when I finally went to pick up the glasses, they were way to strong, thick and the lens fell out the same day. Needless to say I got my eye insurance involved and got my benefits reinstated after they had to contact him. So much wrong with this place, the exam and the staff. As Bob would say I wouldnt recommend them to my dog! I was able to get two pairs of the top of the line lenses w/ frames for what Bob charged me for a pair that was not even my subscription. BUYER BEWARE

Bob and the whole entire team provided excellent customer service and we were very knowledgeable about the products. They were extremely friendly and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend going to them for any of your vision needs. I will continue to utilize them and recommend to friends and family alike.

A great place to do business for all eyewear! All staff is very knowledgeable about their products. Was looking for sunglasses for sports and the staff was able to lead us in the right direction and we are extremely happy!

I will pursue other opticians in the future. I had a checkup this year and the optometrist was great and professional. Couldn’t complain at all about the doctor. Bob and the other lady who run the office portion were not as professional. They were clearly not happy I was choosing to not order glasses from them this time. I chose not to purchase glasses from them as I recalled the last time I got glasses from them I was there for 3 hours and pushed to order designer frames. Then Bob had been confused about how to figure out what insurance would pay. He would give me a cost, try to get me to just order thru them paying cash vs. using insurance at all, and then after he gave me that information his coworker said he wasn’t doing it right and I should use my insurance. Then when choosing frames, they have to unlock containers each time you want to try on frames. After I ordered frames, I then had to return twice because they forgot to do measurements and then forgot to do something else regarding insurance. That all being said I wanted to still go there and give them another try for my vision exam and because I may go back and purchase frames from them in the future. However, first I wanted to go ahead and try a new option and get glasses online which should be my choice. I decided this time to still use Wahl Optical for the exam to be consistent. They questioned me on why I was choosing to use another option and their tone of voice was rude. Then after I finished my exam, they again tried to get me to order glasses from them and even said “you snooze you lose” because I chose not to get frames with my insurance this time with them. I could tell they were not happy to just give me my prescription and then they also refused to give me my pupil measurements from the last time I got glasses because “they don’t have to”. Now my choice is not to come back because “I don’t have to” and neither will any of my family members. I don’t like to feel pressured to purchase things and get an attitude when I nicely explain why I am not.

I cannot recommend this optometry office enough! Not only is the staff very knowledgeable and kind, they actually genuinely care about you as a patient and your eyesight. Took my stepdaughter in today and she too, loves them. This is her second experience with them and she was excited about the choices they offered... she also got a T-shirt!

What a find! Beautiful new building and an absolutely fabulous selection of high quality designer eyewear. Bob (the owner) and Shandra are extremely professional and are committed to making sure the customer is happy with their purchase. I have previously gotten glasses at Robert Max in Omaha & Legacy Eye wear I am now a convert to Wahl Optical! Their prices are extremely competitive, but it is their great customer service that has made the difference.

I’m not sure why I had the experience I had based on the other reviews I’ve read. I chose this place based off the reviews. The exam went well, very quick and efficient. The glasses selection was not as smooth. Bob bless his heart is very kind and has the very best interest for the customer, although he can be a bit distracting when you’re trying to choose from their selection. Most places have their glasses readily available to the customer to try on which is convenient to someone that doesn’t have the luxury of having a lot of time to shop around. I wouldn’t have minded asking for someone to open the cages had I of not just heard the snarky rude comments coming from Chanda. Bob was asking her a question about where a certain frame was located in the back so I could take a look at them, she responded with “I don’t know Bob, go look through the million black cases we have in the back. I am in the middle of something Bob.” Customer service skills are lacked on her part. I wanted sunglasses as well, I asked Chanda if I could use my medical card from my insurance company to pay for my glasses, I’m not sure if she misunderstood my question but quickly snapped back with “well I don’t know how much is on that card, that’s something you would have to tell me.”. Ok, that wasn’t my question, I just wanted to know if I could use my card to pay for sunglasses since they’re not technically a necessity. I was there on my lunch break as I work Mon-Fri. I was hoping to get in and get out, safe to say that did not go according to plan. So, come to transaction. I’m finishing my purchase on my glasses and frames and Chanda then decided to interrupt before Bob could finish up to pull him away for something that was on the computer, like that couldn’t have waited a measly two minutes until I was finished and exited the building. Instead, I got to listen to their conversation about why something couldn’t be processed for several minutes for them to turn around and tell me to “have a nice day.” More time wasted. I will be finding a new place for exams and frames as this experience was less than satisfactory.

Ive been going to Wahl Optical for at least 15 years and Ive always have received wonderful service. I now live in Tampa Florida and I still do my eye prescription service with Wahl Optical. The staff is always helpful and always trying to look for my best deal and best pair of eyeglasses for me. You just do not get that kind of service down here. Wahl Optical is a Jewel that I truly miss from Council Bluffs.
