Stopped in to pick up a couple items and left with twice as much as I planned, tyipical trip for me. Great place to get those speciality tools that you dont use daily. Certainly need to watch what you purchase, quality may not be as great on many items compared to the higher priced Name Brands. Most items are just fine for the average home owner or backyard mechanic

Great tool, great prices. Never had an issue with staff. Only complaint i have is that i have to go to council bluffs.

This place is evil if you are battling a tool addiction, the icon line is impressive, I almost prefer it to the name brand tool truck names.

Once again, needed a tool for Monday at work. Dremel like, rotary tool. And of course Harbor fright had one(with a hard carry case) for the perfect price. I had plenty to choose from also:)

Has lots inventory clean but has a lake of imployes

Harbor Freight is a lifesaver. Needed some cheap tools to fix my broken down car during a 5 hour road trip. Could use a second checkout person to speed up the line at this store is the only critical thing I can say.

I dont get into Council Bluffs very often but I was working near the airport so I hopped over the river and stopped at Harbor Freight. I wanted to buy something Id seen during my last visit several months ago. Imagine my surprise however, when I found the doors locked in the middle of the day with no sign of anyone inside. Thanks a lot for wasting my time and gas.

My husband gets his tools from here and this is an excellent place to buy batteries from! Make sure to get their catalog because it has great coupons in it all the time! If you ever need assistance, their customer service is wonderful!!

The store is bright, clean and easily manuverable. There are nice large signs to direct you where things are so you can get to what you need quicker and easier. The employees were very busy working, which made it a bit hard to ask for help, but it was a bust day and thats to be expected. Our cashier was super friendly and nice. Will come back!

Great tools for the weekend hobbyist. If youre in the trades, you probably want something a little more durable. That being said, I do use my stuff a lot, and nothing from here has failed me yet.

I had to return a miter saw and blade. It was a gift i had bought . It wasnt the one they wanted. So i tried to return it . I discovered that i never got my receipt. They would not credit it back to my card and said they could only give me store credit. I said i can show them my bank transactions on my phone. The manager said that i could have made ten puches to make that anount. I dont even know what that means. He said if i wasnt in their system he couldnt give me cash or credit it tto my crad and then pointed at some information that was on the counter and said thats our police. He also stated the that it is all stores policy not just theirs. I told him he was worng and that i work retail and we do returns all the time if the purchase is done with credit card. Bad customer retention policy.

Good prices and I found exactly what I needed right off the bat

The lady running the register broke the handles on my bag and dumped everything on the floor. She then replies yeah the handles keep breaking on the bags. She puts my stuff in the ripped bag and hands it to me. No second bag, she then says yeah the whole of bags is bad. Then why use them???? Carry my bag into the house with no handles and the bottom rips out and my stuff dumps all over in the snow. I guess its hard to find good help these days.....

Good deals, lots of coupons. The tools are about a 50/50 if theyre worth it on the cheaper end, ive bought a shop crane and other various tools and ive only had issues with the cheap chineseium hand tools. Also the customer service here is amazing!

This store is 2 hours from me. I took the trip to council bluffs for the sole purpose of visiting this store. I had the choice between council bluffs or Des Moines. Based on Google ratings, I chose this store. I wasnt let down. The store is clean, organized and well stocked. Fairly easy to find as it sits next to Home Depot.The most memorable part of my experience would have to be the cashier. Her name was Teresa. Through upgrades, sales, and discounts she convinced me to spend more money than I had planned. But for only $40 more, I upgraded from a 10 miter saw to a 12 compound sliding miter saw AND a 27 month extended warranty. There were a few other items she either upgraded for the same price and/or saved me several dollars on. Add on her contagious cheery personality, and i left there with more than i needed and a smile on my face.Thank you Teresa.

Harbor Freight is a great store for cheap tools. They arent all poor quality or junk. They are getting new products with better quality as of recent. The staff are helpful and polite and they have a clean store.

Good deals on good equipment

Walked in and found exactly what I was looking for in less than 2 minutes. I spent the rest of my time there being filled with ideas for other projects. The layout of this store is intuitive and accessible. They stock plenty of the items you want. I would offer 5 stars, but Im a bit put off by the paid membership to get a discounted price on select items.

Not too bad of a place inexpensive on tools but one problem most of the tools are Pittsburgh and you have to return them there if they break so if you live a ways away it can be an inconvenience

If you dont go to harbor freight youre just wasting money. Sure some things arent that great but, hey! Get the warranty and if you use it a lot take it in and swap it for a new one before it runs out! No charge! Its under warranty! Try it! It works!

Staff is there to help customers with difficulty locating items. I thought I would not like tools from this place, but I must say they out performed Snap On, Mac, and Cornwell for a fraction of the price.

Great store for generic products. My only problem is the consistency with listings; Ive found the same item with more than 1 listing in their advertising coupon book, which had big price differences.

Ive never had a tool fail from here. Always have a 20-25% off sale. Employees are always helpful and multitask well.
