My son went for a state inspection and oil change. They said the wiper needs to be changed. We paid the wiper in order to pass the inspection. Also, we paid for the oil change but I found out the oil was dark. It means the oil was not change. The door cannot be open on the driver side after inspection, I found out the screw was removed and maybe the mechanism of the door was removed too.Going to complain tomorrow.The tech. who did to my sons car is no good!DONT Trust NTB !!!UPDATE: 7/2/21I went next morning very calm in a soft voice to this place,The guy accompanied me to the boss office.The boss yelled at me when he saw me, close the door may be locked the door. So I cannot talk In a nice manner, because he is yelling constantly at me all the time. He talked/yelled like an animal to the customer. I came to ask help or some explanation but the minute he saw me, He YELLED at me, how can the manager solve the issue? If he has a BIG attitude so in order to answer him I yelled him also in order to answer him. The boss treating me to sue me Because I posted a negative review. So I called the cops, I feel unsafe from him. Also, the woman who is the customer of this shop,Handed me a short letter about them, she said the boss he yelled at her to.She handed me a note, you have to call the district manager who is really really nice. She stated also she is a witness.Good luck guys!PS: I am hoping the higher management will do something to him.He look like combative, angry, big temper,he cannot resolve any issue.All he cares is the positive reviews.

Ive always had good experience with NTB but today was a bad experience with John. I appreciate the service they provide to keep correct air pressure in tires but John was not in the mood today. Had to go elsewhere and will not be recommending our customers to go there anymore.

I had a flat,.rolled in NTB 20 minutes after they were supposed to be closed. One of the techs was still working. He finished the truck he was working on and then got me back on the road. Bryan, thanks again for taking care of me and my girls so we could make it home. Definitely, above and beyond typical service.

Always the nicest most professional people working there. I’ve gone multiple times without an issue. The person speaking about their sons car actually came in yelling and causing a scene while I was waiting for my car. They handled it extremely well and made sure the other customers in the building were being helped without getting interrupted but the guy. What he was saying made no sense! Culpeper NTB is always my go to.

So, they were busy when I arrived this morning, 12/29/20. (Culpepper, Va) I was referred by another tire store in their area... We have used the Culpeper Va location several times over the years. Work has always been completed quickly and efficiently and the staff has always been a breeze to work with. If you have any questions or concerns speak with Charles S and he will walk you through. Will happily return when the need arises again.

I only use them for alignments. When I went this week, they told me all my rotors needed to be replaced for about $850. I told them I have all my work done at the dealership service dept and that I was going the next day, anyway, for an oil change, so I would have them take a look. As I was leaving he tried one more time and said he could take $50 off the price. The next day when I went to the dealership in Charlottesville, they told me all rotors are in good shape and dont need to be replaced.

I called on a Friday explaining exactly what the situation was that I would like to make an appointment as I was traveling through and I had a odd sized vehicle but gave exact sized of heigh and width. When I showed up on Monday morning for my scheduled appointment they took it in and I waited 40 minutes for them to tell me it would not fit in the door. As a service shop you should know what your door height is and should have been able to tell me before I made an appointment that my vehicle would not fit since I gave you exact size. Now one in town can fit me into their schedule today which puts me a day behind. Thank you for wasting my time.

I called in to NTB and asked if they had any appointments to patch my tire the same day. They did, and they said it would be free. I didnt believe them, but it was! They fixed two tires that had nails in them for nothing-- which makes me want to come back here for my next set of tires, etc. Charles was super helpful!

Had a 2pm appointment. Arrived at 1:35pm. It was after 3pm before they took the vehicle in the shop. At this business over 2 hours for a tire rotation and repair leaking tire. Rude not customer focused. Seemed like they didnt care whether I was doing business work them or taking it elsewhere which next time I will take it elsewhere.

They did a great job swapping out my stock rims with new ones even though it was a tough job and took half the day. Awesome service!

Dropped off my car for the State Inspection and picked up a couple hours later. No problems. All staff were wearing masks and socially distancing.

I brought my daughters car here after a local dealer couldnt find/fix the problem - and the team at NTB knew exactly what the problem was, and how to fix it. They squeezed us in, immediately ordered the necessary parts, and then repaired the vehicle within budget and on time. Charles, John, and Ryan have been helping us out for years, and continue to treat us as valued customers. I highly recommend this NTB location - Ill definitely use them again.

My family and I took a short weekend trip to the Culpeper area (we all came from out of state). Saturday morning we awoke to find that my daughters vehicle had a flat tire while. Not wanting her to drive home at the end of the weekend on the compact spare tire, we headed for NTB. When it was our turn to be assisted, we shared our plight and boy, did Jeremy Lemay step up to the plate! Though we told him we were out of town (so not likely ever to patronize their business again), we were treated like royalty and Jeremy had us in and out of there in a heartbeat. This location is awesome. Parking lot VERY small but the staff is great. Had an emergency with a trailer tire while headed that direction. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Even as a walkin customer they got me in and out swiftly and professionally. Highly recommend this shop for your tires when needed.

The people there were really nice, but they wouldnt believe me that one of my tires had a slow leak. Low and behold four days later and its back down to 24 psi from 36.I just went somewhere else and they replaced the stem. Problem solved.

Gentlemen here are very professional, and friendly. They take time to explain everything if neccessary. They are also super fast. Also nice waiting area.

I have been going to these people for as long as I lived in this town. They may be a major chain but they never make you feel that way, theyre always very personable and awesome. I will always take my car here for repairs. The only time I had issues is when someone backed into my car in their parking lot, they dont have any security cameras so there was no way we could see who did it. Overall I like this place very much and the people are what make me come back.

The bathroom and coffee area is not clean, otherwise I love this place and people. Too bad there couldnt be a separate bathroom for employees and customers. I went to this place for brake work. I found out I needed to reset my traction system instead which was a fraction of what a brake job wouldve cost me. They are honest techs. I definitely will be using them in the future.

I booked my appointment for an alignment online and when I showed up at the appointed time, I didnt have to wait long before my car was on the alignment rack. While I was waiting, an older gentleman came in with a nail in his tire and he needed it repaired because he was going to work early the next day. Even though they were booked up, and it was getting close to closing time, they still took care of this guy. My alignment was complete in about 20 minutes and after I paid, I was on my way. This will be the place i will return to for my future alignment work and possibly tires as well.

I have been using this place for circa 15 years and it never disappoints. From the manager Charles (and Mike before him), to the front desk folks John & Jeremy, to the senior mechanic Ryan, they have always figured out the issues for all my vehicles over the years.

In and out in less than an hour. Simple fix and great customer service.

I have had my tires replaced here twice now and they have excellent fast service getting me back on the road each time. John at the service desk is great. I will return to them with my business.

Had an appointment at 9:00am for tire install and inspection, they pulled the car in at 9:10, sat in the bay till 11am to finally start doing the work..didnt get done till 12:30pm. Three and a half hours for maybe an hour job. Terrible, never again

I have been happy using Merchants and get most all services done there. The only issue I have with my last visit was being charged $60 to change two light bulbs! Labor $55 and bulbs $5. Ridiculous!

NTB in Culpeper is my Go-To place for routine services likes brakes, oil changes, alignments, etc. The people there make the difference between wanting to go to the same place and not choosing the many other places to get the same services.

Had a 12:30 appointment, got there early, took my vehicle in and all work was done within a hour. I would highly recommend any or all to use their service.

I went in for a power steering pump. was told it was the rack & pion. Never was given an estimation for the work and ended up paying $1,325.00 dollars when I anticipated about 5 to 6 hundred dollars. Called back and talked to representative, hindicated that he would discuss with his boss. Unfortunately, (for him) he never hung up his phone and heard him discuss with tech. Vulgar words were used to discrible me and about the work in general. Called back to discuss what happened when he talked to his boss and have never received a return phone call. Apparently, he does not want to discuss this with me or he didnt actually talk to his boss.Every time I have called since then he is not there. Yeah, Right. Yall blow this one and there will never be a chance to screw me over again.

Very poor job, they severely damaged my custom rims. I wont recommend taking your vehicle to this location. Especially if you have after market custom chrome rims to have tires mounted. They will destroy ur rims. They have absolutly no respect for customers personal property.

Took my car there because of a Low Pressure light on. They told me they patched a hole in the tire so I payed them and went on my way. Next day, Low Pressure came up again. I took it back to Merchants to fix. I find out that I have a cracked rim. In talking with the Technician, he told me that he remembered my car and said he couldnt find anything wrong with my tire so he filled it up with air... and guess what... the Low Pressure light went off. DUHHH..So I payed them $25 to put air in my tire. Didnt take my car back!
