Was headed to buy a used oven from someone on Marketplace they had left home. I’m doing a 100 remodel on my kitchen and needed everything to be New. I went to Second Chance I Googled and pulled up. In 10 minutes I had a new oven/stove, free range microwave to be mounted along with a new set of stainless steel pots and pans with a brand new Keurig. All brand new I love it. Everything is modern and didn’t have any noticeable issues. It’s sort of one of those places like Ross they sale you marked Down name brand items for less because of the deficiencies that the human eye can’t see but manufacturing can’t sell because of branding stamps and accountability. I love this spot it’s genius and no how to pick out quality nice Appliances I spent 1850 for all of this. I’m a Happy Customer. Edgar is the best.

Everything went good! No complaints! Texted 3 different places with questions about the appliance I needed, this was the only one that replied and very quickly.

I purchased a washer and dryer in December 2020. Edgar provided a good and fair description of the appliances that were pretty minor and for me, it didn’t matter since they’re behind closed doors anyways. The delivery was timely, I received a call and the installation didnt take much and I didnt havec any problems. I use my washer/dryer on avverage 1-2 timex per week and they are both working perfectly. Im satistied with the purchase and I wanted to wait some time before providing my feedback and review of the washer/dryer and I give it 5 stars!

Great business to work with. he was able to find a stand up freezer for me and my neighbor a deep freezer. speedy service and fast delivery. very good pricing as well. when i need appliances i will differently do business with him again. my neighbor was also very happy with his service.

On august 19, 2020 I bought a Kitchenaid refrigerator from this company. I picked it up, took it home and got it installed. Exactly a month later on September 19, 2020 the freezer stopped making ice. I called Edgar Vasquez to let him know about my freezer was not making ice. The dates are important because my warranty was up on the day I called him. He told me he was going to send someone over to my house to look at my freezer. About a week later, Miguel his technician got in touch with me to set a time for him to come over. Miguel took a look at it and ordered the part that needed fixing. A week later Miguel returned to fix my freezer. I was so grateful that my freezer was fixed and we can enjoy our investment with Second Chance Appliance! Thank you for taking care of my refrigerator. I WILL GIVE IT A SECOND CHANCE!

I think I was a special but weird kinda case but the owner took really good care of me. I would definitely recommend Second Chance Appliances over any major department store any day, you are guaranteed to receive spectacular service after the sale. Go by and visit their showroom of appliances, tell them I sent ya.

Make sure you are desperate enough to shop here. I was sold a used dishwasher under the specific terms that brackets and insulation was to be supplied. They brought it over the next day and the guy just left. After inspection of the unit I realized that the brackets and insulation was not there and when I called the shop they told me as is. Steer clear of this place if you can. The price difference between this place and a Sears or Best buy outlet is negligible enough to spend the extra coin elsewhere.

Don’t do business here. Bought a really nice oven here. When we got it to our older home we realized it wouldn’t work. Brought it back and they refused to allow us to return it. We are now stuck with an oven we can’t use. I don’t understand a place that would do this to a family. It is one way to do business but it’s not a good way to do business. We will never buy here again and we wouldn’t never recommend this place to friends or family just due to the business philosophy of the owner.

I bought a restaurant quality high-end stove with double side by side oven. It was a scratch and dent. The sales person was informative, and helpful.The sale was smooth. The stocks excellent. We have had it over a year, and have had no issues.

All week was a bad week for me and to top it off on Saturday my tire had blown out and I had no phone. I had no choice, but to exit MacArthur blvd and park at a gas station. I then walked across the street to Second Chance Appliances, because I thought they possibly had sold phones. When I walked into the store, I spoke to the guy at the front counter and asked him if he sold phones, he said they didnt. He was genuilnely concerned about my issue, and I had told him that my tire had broken down. He allowed me to use his phone to make a few phones calls, and he was super nice about it.Thank You again.

My one time experience with them was pretty good. I was able to get a perfect working grill 40% cheaper simply because the box was dented; 5 years later the grill still works.

Searched high and low for a 24” stackable washer and dryer that had no agitator due to my small older apartment complex. I was using a front load and switching to stackable would be small so I wanted nothing to do with the agitator. Plus it’s not good for your clothes. I found this place on OfferUp and low and behold they had the perfect unit! It was a scratch and dent unit but once it was placed you couldn’t even see the scratches or dents. It’s never been used and worked just fine!Purchased it in October 2018 and now into January 2019 I noticed my washer was doing an alarm for troubleshooting. It was clogged. I called them to see if they could do anything about it. It was past their warranty but it being a brand new unit they were curious to why it was going out fast and they would service it for a small fee.Adrian installed my washer and dryer like a champ. The poor guy it was a small area to install and he had to climb over my unit. Well he was the one to come back and look at it. He fixed it and somehow a sock got stuck in the piping. He was even willing to let me watch so if I wanted to fix it myself I could get in there.I really appreciate all the help and the customer service they have provided me. I would recommend this place hands down! Looking forward to doing more business with them in the future.

Me and my husband have a baby on they way next month and were desperately in need of a new fridge. Our current one was very old and just didnt seem like it would last much longer, a expense we couldnt risk once the baby gets here.We were going to get a fridge from the bestbuy outlet store but wanted to swing by Second Chance to see what they had to offer. They had the LG French door instaview door that we wanted at bestbuy but with a ice maker included in the door. At bestbuy this model (without the ice maker) was $1700. The one Second Chance had was $1,450 +$95 for delivery an hour away! Great deal and Edgar was very helpful and kind.They got the fridge installed yesterday and it works great. However, the motor on the icemaker isnt working. I dont believe Second Chance was at fault because who ever dropped this fridge off left the ice maker on. In the manual, it states to not leave ice maker on if not hooked up to a water supply. This probably burned the motor out. Once again, I dont hold Second Chance responsible as they would not have known. Called Edgar and told him about it and he promised to arrive later next week with a new ice maker to install.Very professional and efficient customer service. I trust they will make things right with the ice maker because of the superb customer service we received from the start!thank you!!!

I just want to tell the owner thank you. I had a new washer that broke and the owner of 2nd chance really helped us out with what I may add a Better washer delivery was same day. With a hectic time in our lives the last thing we wanted, was to worry about a much needed washer in a full house. Again thank u 2nd chance.

Too proud of an owner, even comparing his not so pretty store with best buy. I wasnt gonna write a review but since the owner called me shady, a person that drove all the way 40 miles just to see what he was selling ready to pick up Im gonna go ahead leave this negative review.I came to this store with an agreement to purchase a dishwasher with no dents for $400, sign was open, no one was there, I had to call both numbers to get inside and get someone to answer the door. When I got there, the dishwasher has a dent and they said they will fix it and deliver it on Monday. Anyways, Owner agreed to us with this $400 dishwasher deal and I recommended them to my sister who was also in search of a wall oven. They both agreed to bundle up both our purchases for $2600 cash, but to make story short my sister backed out leaving only my deal. When Im about to pay he insist now that I pay more than $400... I refused because of principle, in my opinion, if he wont honor what he says, he will not honor any returns if defective.Also, this store wouldnt deliver till you pay them, attendant said they will lose money if they deliver before payment, which doesnt make sense. As a customer, he wants us to cough up $2600 and wait for them to deliver it 3 days later and just trust them, not a good way to build rapport. I take like this owner makes sure everything is profitable and wouldnt inconvenience himself or gamble to build a relationship with his customers, even told me do bestbuy deliver before you pay I smirked and told him, you guys are not best buy, especially with your bad reviews like this.P.S. attached photo of their business policy, everything is Final Sale EDIT: to Owners responseWhat do you mean you chose not to take my money?? DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!This place is horrible! Its family ran and theyre all crooks! Theyre quick to take your hard earned cash and lie to you about how theyre going to fix the problem with the appliance you select. On top of that the delivery service they hire is literally two guys and a pick up truck-who were 8 hours late to deliver our appliances. The manager Edgar Vazquez is so unprofessional and will raise his voice at you and will tell you that YOU need to worry about what he has to go through and your needs as the customer is the least of his worries! So unprofessional and unethical! Their BBB rating is a C and they have a multitude of complaints from people on other sites-yelp, google, bing, etc. If they send you to their warehouse in Dallas the lady named Nancy is the sister to the awful manager at the store. Theyre both equally unprofessional. Save your time and headache just dont do business here.

Beware – they claim all sales are final but dont tell you that. There are also no signs posted anywhere in the sales room. There is a small blip on the receipt. When I purchased a refrigerator, I said I can cancel this if I want and the salesgirl said you have 30 days. Within 24 hour of a business day, I changed my mind after reading bad reviews of the refrigerator, and called to cancel the purchase. It had not even cleared my debit card account and the fridge was still in the store. The lady on the phone said, no way. All sales are final. Could only get a store credit. I have called every day to work this out, and returned to the store to try and work it out. They insist they dont need to voice it or have a sign up stating all sales final. I consider this bad business and am very unhappy with them. Please be aware. Also, they have several bad reviews for servicing the appliances, and people tend to have trouble with them. If they decide to work with me and refund my money, I will remove this review.

SECOND CHANCE APPLIANCES Mr. Esgar sold me a faulty Samsung refrigerator with a freon leak!! I have had 3 different repair men, that have said, its almost impossible to fix!! I was told to purchase a new one, that it would be much cheaper than to fix the Samsung bought from Second Chance Appliance Mr.Esgar!!! I had also purchased a warranty for the unit, however Second Chance ApplianceRemoved all serial #s from the refrigerator and revoked warranty!!Shame on you!! I have contaced Samsung and they are going to investigate my complaint!! If you gave been taking advantage and have lost your hard earned money buying Junk appliances, Call the original maker of the product and put in your complaint!!!! Also call the BBB!
