These guys are awesome. Super friendly, responsive, and honest. They have their COVID procedures down too and it was super easy. I dropped my car off for a new tire and I called to let them know I was there, and left my key for them in the car - I didn’t have to see anyone. They called a few hours later to let me know my car was ready, and they sent me a text so I could pay on my phone. It literally took seconds. I arrived, called them, and a gentleman came out to the outdoor covered waiting area wearing a mask to give me my keys and receipt. Easiest process ever.

Texasland is the first place I think of when it comes to anything dealing with autos (and now trailers!). I needed new wheel bearings for a trailer and they had everything done in just a few hours. Just like they do on my cars, the job was done very professionally. One thing that right now displays how theY care for their customers, during the current pandemic we are experiencing, they are going out of their way to keep their customers safe. From maintaining a safe distance to providing a tented area to both drop off and pick up items, they make sure no one is put at risk. These guys really care about the job they do and keeping their customers safe - both on the road and when they need service.

I needed my car inspected, but wasnt sure considering the quarantine and all, but the person that I spoke with outlined all their disinfecting procedures and I felt better. The inspection was completed, and I was back to pick it up in about an hour. I have used their services several times and find them to be pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend their services.

They use a touchless system at this point in time to get your car fixed or, in my case, inspected. The only down side is that the lobby is closed at this time due to covid procedures but other than that everyone was professional. If you are going to get your car inspected, make sure you have someone with another car that pick you up and drop you back off. Their payment system was done through a text message so everything is no contact.Edit 6/28/2021: Went back for a Vehicle inspection without a prior appointment. Pat was very helpful and communicative for what needed to be done. Dropped off the vehicle and left. The inspection was done quickly and was ready in a couple of hours. As always they were very professional and helpful.

I recently celebrated my 65th birthday and I’ve learned over the years that when you find a good thing you stick with it. I got to know these guys when I brought my company car for oil changes about 15 years ago (risk free on the company dime). I quickly realized that I had struck gold. The quality of service, courtesy, communication, and professionalism are exceptional here. I started bringing my personal autos here ( 4 including daughters vehicles) as a result and have been with them ever since. There are some business relationships in life that are critical for peace of mind and auto mechanic is right there in the top five. I have referred many, many people here over the years and the owner has thanked me many times. I told him I was not referring Texasland Tire to make them look good, but instead, to make myself look good. When you find a good thing you want to share it. For tires and auto service you will find none better than Texasland Tire - they are the real deal.

Got my alignment dialed in to my own custom specs on my 1986 MR2 after rebuilding the entire suspension with aftermarket parts. Most places wont even touch custom specs, much less older modified cars, but these guys are willing to work with you and make sure things get done right. They completely nailed my specs and got everything done in about an hour and a half for $160. Will definitely be back if I ever need an alignment, and Id recommend this place to anyoneUpdate - alignment is still holding true 6 months later and my tire wear is very even, which honestly is incredible given the way I drive and how soft these racing compound tires are.I also just took in a set of rotors from my other car for resurfacing and they came out great. Saved me a decent amount of money and avoided wasting good steel. Had no issues with brake reassembly and they feel fantastic - no vibrations whatsoever.

I absolutely LOVE these folks here at Texasland Auto & Tire! They helped me out quite a bit regarding a situation where my car was supposedly leaking fluids, according to American Patriot Towing. If I could give 10/5 stars, I would!It got towed supposedly because of leaking fluids and a suspicion that it was undrivable. Sure, its got some paint issues up top, and I dont drive it too much because I work from home, but her insides purr like a kitten, thanks to Texasland! Papers and registration were all in order, so it came as a shock as to how it could have gotten towed for such a reason as leaking fluids and being undrivable, considering all of two days prior to its tow, she drove just fine. Thank you Drive Safe and Save app!The whole ordeal was odd, as the emergency tow driver I spoke with who insisted on helping me regarding such an issue, got instantly hostile when I tried to say there must be some mistake, considering what I mentioned above. He wouldnt let me speak more than a few words before hed interrupt in such a hostile manner, and put words in my mouth to make up fictional scenarios to justify himself, just jumping all over the place working himself up into a tizzy!It got so bad, he even challenged me to come down here and crank it on in front of him, as he insisted that there was no way it could possibly drive in its condition. So insistent and confident that it couldnt!So I get there, turn the key, and she starts up instantly, no muss, no fuss! Though, I put it into gear and it had a little lurch to it, a transmission issue all of a sudden? I get it out far enough to be able to safely check on it, and sure enough, the transmission fluid has been drained, as it is bone dry! Manage to get some transmission fluid in it and she purred like a kitten again on the way to Texasland.The professionals there cleaned it up and looked it over thoroughly, and could find NO LEAKS caused by damage or cracks. But the drainage plug was suspiciously loosened to leak it out. Even after letting it settle overnight to triple check. So they tightened it up, and let me know they found zero actual damage that would cause a leak like that.Golly gee! Isnt that so weird? My drainage plug being opened a smidge gets whisked away by a towing company over such an issue that just magically appeared out of nowhere! It aint my mechanics who opened it, as the last time I was there, it was months ago and doesnt fit the timeframe. Sure aint me, why would I cause myself so much strife and lose money like this? I dont touch stuff on my car I dont fully understand the intricacies of, especially not something so sensitive as the transmission. Now, who does that leave? Golly gee willickers, I wonder whos else had recent access to my vehicle and a grudge to prove?Mysterious mysteries aside, Texasland Auto & Tire is my #1 pick for vehicle repair, hands down the best of the best! They are a name you can trust! You should all swing by next time tragedy hits and repairs need to be made! I can near guarantee satisfaction! They are true pros! Their engineering is so fantastically good, itll still work out of spite when it really needs to~

Patrick long was very professional when i dealt with him, he was wearing gloves and a mask and i saw him and the other technicians using heavy duty cleaning spray to clean everything they touched. The experience made me feel 100% safe, I was so impressed with the service that i will never use another tire or lube shop again, i am a Texasland Tire and Auto customer for life.And i really liked how Patricks mask made him look like shredder from the teenage mutant ninja turtles, thats what i was most impressed with.

I came in with a flat tire in the cargo space, as my spare tired had been put on the previous day.This was a new tire purchased from TexaslandTire, Carrollton, just a few weeks ago. They got my tire out to go over, and found a razor blade embedded in the tread. Unfortunately, it couldnt be repaired.. Pat and the others got a new tire put on, and showed me the damaged one, and why it couldnt be repaired. This was done in a short period of time- and made it a pleasant experience. Ive come to this location a few times already for issues with my truck( it is older and needs some work) and they have always been very professional, courteous and always communicated what they were doing and what needed to be done. I cant thank them enough for always taking care of me especially after they found an incorrect part that was put in my truck at a mainstream shop just days prior. They even went out of their way to find a part online that was inexpensive for my wheels without me asking them to. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a professional and honest shop working on their vehicle.

Well I wont recommend them the older gentleman Tom was decent but none of the others even acknowledged me with a simple good morning. Then Tom called himself giving me a discount off of my care plan charges which were according to him $79.99 for the oil change. Discounted $39.00 then with taxes he charged $51.00. I can get the same oil change at the chevy dealership for $39.99 without the care plan. So how did I exactly save this was a mistake will not go back.

Its never fun when you have to go in and reevaluate a review. But if we dont, then whats the point in having them? I reviewed this place once before giving them high Marks for finding and repairing issues created by an incompetent mechanic. Other than price, I was satisfied with the work. But then again I was able to point out the problem to them. Fast forward to this past Friday, and I have to say, Im not sure whats happened to them. Perhaps because I no longer have the same vehicle, but more likely because my current vehicles issue would require diagnostics. I called around 7:45 to see if they would have time to look at it that day. My thought was maybe if I got there early enough they could diagnose and repair in the same day. When I was told yes, I rushed over. I was told I would get a call informing me of the conclusion. And I proceeded to walk home. Yep. Thats right. A shop in the middle of a pandemic, who restricts any access to its lobby, offers no assistance to its patrons who drop off their vehicles to be serviced. Now lets address that elephant. My vehicle was there the entire day. At 4:30, just before closing time, I got a call from a guy who wanted to know, Just exactly how long does my truck have to be driven to hear the noise Im complaining of? To which I thought to myself,Apparently longer than your lazyass felt like driving it. But when I explained that its a little more to it than that. My problem is difficult for me to describe. Ive only owned the truck for a month, so Im not super familiar with it. I was told that they had basically reached the limit of the free diagnostic, that the hourly mechanic rates are usualy $139. And did I understand what he was trying to say? If Please understand my odometer never changed from when I dropped it off to when I picked it up. I beleive they drove from in front the place to a parking spot behind it. Then waited till as late as possible in the day, Im sure knowing that noone wants to be left a foot all weekend whilst they decide if my truck is worth looking at. Well, fine. As I recall, I paid them over $300 last time to tighten 2 bolts. Not replace them, but tighten them. Watch out for this place. Its shady at best. If youve not been taken by them yet, just wait, you will. In the car biz, they call it Bait and Switch. In my biz, I call it Profiling or Cherry Picking. BTW, Ive been struggling with my truck all weekend, it was making the noise when I drove it from their parking lot. In fact worse than before. Thanks for being there for me Goodyear. Way to go.

Pep boys, xpress automotive, carrollton auto will all do it for under $400 PART INCLUDED.Do not waste your time. I simply asked “hey i found that part for much cheaper, what gives?” And the dude literally freaks out on my and hangs up. I wouldn’t take my car here IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON IT.

Just brought my Focus there to have two rear tires put on. Quoted wait time was a bit high, but I told them I didn’t have anything to do today anyways. I’d rather it that way than rushed and improperly done. They took great care of my vehicle and got my tires installed and balanced nice and clean with no hiccups or silly mistakes. Very professional workers. The shop manager (I didn’t get his name) was very polite and experienced. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to someone in need of basic service.

This is hands down the best auto shop in Dallas. We have been going here for years now and have always had a great experience. When I was in college I ripped a small part of my front bumper off my car and went to three auto shops to look at repairs and they all said it would cost $1,000 and I would have to replace the whole thing. Being the cheap college kid I decided to duct tape the whole thing and not worry about it. A couple years later I had moved to Dallas and was referred to this shop. Went in for a oil change and Tom asked me why my car was all taped up. Told him the story of what happened and he expalined it would actually only cost $10 to repair and he could do it right now. (The shield on the bottom needed some basic screws) my car came out duct tape free and perfectly fine! Fast forward a bit and I brought my car in for some more basic maintenance and I mentioned I thought my headlights were going out. Talked to Tom again and he told me that the issue was actually how the light cover was foggy and they could fix it for a couple hundred or I could buy this kit off Amazon and do it myself for $15 (Yes they are that honest!) for this reason we only bring our cars here and always refer as many people as we can to this shop. I just got a new car and brought it in for the basics and when they told me what it would cost I did everything without hesitation because I know everything they say is true and they are not trying to get more money out of me. My husband and I live in Farmers Branch and probably drive about 25 min to get to this shop and bypass a lot of other car shops that are much closer because this shops honesty and great work is worth the drive! Tom is the best and always goes above and beyond to make sure we know what the cost will be ahead of time and why they are making certain fixes. We trust them so much we even called when we were car shopping for my husband to ask Tom’s advice on different cars we were considering. You will not find a shop with more character and trustworthiness than here. We highly recommend this shop and will continue to be loyal customers and send as many people as we can here!

Ordered tires online and made an appointment to install them at Texasland. Staff was courteous and helpful with doing an alignment and replacing stripped lug bolts, and still had the car out in a timely manner.

It is rare nowadays to have a shop with great service like this one. I came in for a tire repair and they did a great job, explain the work and knowledgeable when answering customers questions. Also they torque my lugnuts to spec while most other shops would just hit it with an impact. Will be back in the future.

This place is awful. -Not convenient and will not go out of their way for a thing. All I needed was a fix for a slow leak in ONE tire. I stopped by at 5:00 and they needed me to leave it overnight. I showed up on a Saturday morning and they asked me to leave it 4-5 hours. Their only suggestion was to have someone else drop me off and pick me up. Don’t even bother stopping if you are a single parent or expect speedy service. The Goodyear off Macarthur & 121 is quick, convenient, and 10x better than this awful hole in the wall “business.”

Came to this place to get my transmission looked at. Guy on the phone told me they can take a look at it, so I happily drove it over. I thought the diagnostic was free because I have been to MANY auto shops where they diagnose issues for free, including transmission problems. Bad on my part for not asking if there was a cost with the diagnostic, but bad on their part for not telling me there was a cost before they took my car to take a look. I understand that nobody works for free but don’t you tell the price to the customer before providing the service? Owner said something along the lines of it “being a part of my job as a customer” regarding asking about the price of the diagnostic before service. Ok whatever. Owner dropped the $150(ish?) diagnostic price down lower because of the misunderstanding.I ended up taking it to a local well known auto shop in Dallas and they quoted me $500 less AND didn’t charge me too look at.

The service here has always been top notch from a professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff.

I walked in to ask about getting my car inspected for state inspection. I saw there were a lot of cars so I figured they were busy. I told the guy at the front that I needed to get my car inspected, but he let me know that I could either leave the car with them or leave. I was so confused and thought maybe I did something wrong. I let him know that I wouldnt be able to leave the car with him. I asked him how long it would take til they were able to service my car. Still got the same answer that I could leave the car or leave. I didnt receive a greeting or any level of acceptable customer service. First time in at a Goodyear, and probably my last. Definitely my last time in at this location.
