Annette SAVED my dress from a seamstress who did a terrible job with only 3 weeks to do it! I have fallen in love with my dress all over again after seeing the final product. Its clear that she knows what shes doing and she knows what looks good! I cannot recommend her services enough!

Highly recommend Annette for wedding dress alterations. She not only took in my dress that was three sizes too big, but also accommodated my 30 day timeline…all while I was on crutches LOL. She was very friendly and reasonably priced.

I had the most amazing experience working with Annette to tailor my wedding dress. She was kind, professional, experienced, and did an amazing job!After another tailor in Austin ruined my first dress, I rushed to Dallas to find a dress designer or tailor who could fix it. Unfortunately it was too far gone. I repurchased the same dress 1 week before my wedding day. I was turned away from several tailors who said they could not alter it in time. Thankfully someone recommended Annette to me, so I called her hysterical, crying and begging for her help. She had such a calming presence that I so desperately needed after my previous experience. I left her shop feeling confident that my dress would be altered correctly. She finished the alterations in THREE DAYS and it fit like a glove.I will be forever grateful to Annette for the work she did but also the support she provided during a traumatic time. Miracle worker to say the least! I was on a very tight time crunch and had called around to so many bridal alterations that said the timeframe to have my dress altered was much longer than what I needed it to be done in, I even had one tell me they could fix the rest of the dress but not the hem in the time I needed, my dress was so long I could not walk in it without holding it up. Luckily I saw Annette’s shop was referred by Terry Costa so I called not expecting much than what I had already heard over and over, Annette told me this wouldn’t be a problem and that she could do it, I even mentioned it was multi-layered with lace with a long train because I could not believe it, she politely said “that’s not a problem, regardless of what kind of dress it is you need it done for your wedding day” and that’s what she did, my wedding was Saturday and my dress fit like a glove with the PERFECT hem (that I could now walk in)! I got SO many compliments. Thank you Annette!

Annette SAVED the day for me! My dress is very intricate with a very long train, several layers, and a LOT of beautiful lace. Everywhere I went for alterations was quoted at $700+ and I was even turned away by some tailors. I felt so defeated until I found Annette. She took me in and made me feel like a princess! She made sure everything on my dress was perfect, for a fair price! She knew I was on a tight timeline and she knew how upset I was that alterations were going to cost more than I budgeted for -- so she not only fixed my entire dress within 10 days, but she also knocked down the rush fee. I feel so blessed to have found her! Annette charges a $500 flat rate, and it is SO worth every penny. She is an absolute professional, quick, and super nice. She even stayed open late several nights because she knew I didnt want to have to leave work early! She worked overtime to make sure I had my dress in time. Words cannot express how grateful I am. I 10000% recommend her to any brides with intricate or special dresses. If you want that special/professional touch, Annette is your girl!

Annette is incredible! I bought my dress as a sample and it was 2 sizes to big. It was a hospital gown on me and Annette made it fit like a glove! Im so impressed at how she transformed it. My dress was beaded lace and she made everything look flawless in moving things around. I had it hemmed, taken in, bustled, cups added, mesh cut off, and I completely redid the sleeves/straps. I got so many compliments on how perfect it fit me. She is competitively priced and totally worth it. She even sewed in a parch in honor of my late mother in law. She is absolutely incredible!

Shes absolutely the best in DFW area. Wouldnt trust a gown to anyone but her. She will take very good care of your special occasion dress.

Truly the worst experience I could have imagined as a bride. I went to Annette because my sister used her for wedding alterations and was happy. Unfortunately my experience was far from pleasant. Annette was rude, responded days to weeks after I contacted her for my initial appointment, follow ups, etc. and didnt do the work she promised. She was extremely disrespectful and rude. She made disrespectful comments about my body which no one wants when trying on a wedding dress.While I was in the middle of a fitting a woman from a local bridal shop (actually the one where I bought my dress) came in and she immediately switched her persona to be bright and cheery. I wish this had been my experience as well but she went right back to being rude as soon as the woman left. I had to make multiple unplanned visits to have some basic mesh added because she forgot to do it in between original appointments - even though that was the only thing I needed her to do. She also failed to sew in my monogram as I asked her to do on multiple occasions. This resulted in me not having it sewn in on my wedding day. My alterations we so minimal and she couldnt even get that right. I had puckering that should never have been in the fabric for what I paid for her services. I would not recommend her to anyone.I waited months before posting this review to make sure I wasn’t influenced my the emotions and stress of a wedding. I can assure you that she is truly just unprofessional and rude. Do NOT use her.

I had the unfortunate circumstance of having my wedding gown custom made overseas. It arrived to the U.S. late and ill-fitting. I had less than a week to find someone to fix my dress. Annette is amazing! We had a previous seamstress who had cut the hem too short and Annette was able to fix it and it looks perfect! She fit us in to her schedule and made sure we had it in time for portraits. She is fabulous to work with and has an amazing talent!

Annette works miracles. She worked on my dress that had intricate lace sleeves that had become oversized due to 20lbs lost, and when the day came it was like the dress was custom made. She works with your schedule and I can’t imagine trusting my dress to someone else.

THIS LADY CANNOT BE TRUSTED. I called a week in advance to make an appointment and was scheduled around her time / schedule. NO ONE WAS AT THE SHOP WHEN I SHOWED UP. She left me high and dry in a time crunch which we discussed over the phone. I did not receive a courtesy call beforehand to reschedule or anything.... radio silent. I DROVE 90 MINUTES ACROSS TOWN IN RUSH HOUR TO MEET her 4:30pm availability and she WAS NOT AT THE STORE FRONT NOR HAD THE COURTESY OR PROFESSIONALISM TO CALL ME!!!If you want someone reliable, this is not the place to go! No respect or courtesy for customers! Spend your money elsewhere and get your bridal alterations done perfectly, on-time and price consciously anywhere else!!Her prices are not that competitive either! She has ego-stroking prices that are set for Highland Park clientele without the quality or customer service to back it up.

I went in to see if I could make an appointment and as a huge favor she saw me right then and there. She took great care to make sure all four layers were going to be even and also did a little magic to help the bust fit better.So glad I happened to see this place!!!

Can’t say enough about Annette and her service! We went a “cheaper” route for alterations for my first daughter’s wedding and learned our lesson the hard way! So when my second daughter found her dress we went to Best Fit and couldn’t have been happier! Annette really went the extra mile to make the dress exactly what my daughter wanted and then had to “re-alter” it TWICE due to the bride’s fluctuating size! No question what we will do when our third daughter gets married...Best Fit for sure!!!

I am so beyond lucky that the place I got my dress from couldn’t schedule me in for alterations. I was so scared at first but I found Annette and she was a Godsend. By the time I got ahold of her she was already fitting people who had my wedding date so even though we would be on a tight timeline she still took me in.She’s so extremely talented at her craft and was so great to work with. She saved my entire day honestly. Annette was amazing! When I had major problems with my custom dress designer she took my side and help me get a refund. Not only that I was left finding a new dress 6 days BEFORE MY WEDDING! To say the least I was freaking out. I found the perfect dress that needed minor alterations and Annette finished them in like 2 days and I picked my dress up the day before my wedding. Its was very stressful but I wouldnt have been able to find someone to do the alterations in that short of time she was truly a life saver. I highly recommend her service and prices over anyone in the area she was truly amazing!
