A-1 locksmith are life savers, if you have any thing that has to do with keys, I encourage you to go to A-1, they respond to calls, and communicate too, there is a difference between copy cats and original. A-1 is the real deal, Im satisfied. After calling too many so-called locksmith places, they dont pick their calls nor return calls, A-1 have made my day. You people get my business for life. Today I came in wanting a new key fob for my truck. I recieved nothing but great attitude from Mike he was quick to help me out and get me taken care of! Definitely recommend this place for any needs in keys.

We went there today at 8am, we were the first customer there. wanted to get a replacement Key FOB for our 2013 Dodge Caravan. MICHAEL was Very Helpful, VERY Professional, Very pleasant and we got best customer service. We were done in 30 minutes. Tho about $50 expensive then Ace hardware or anyone around we got quotes from but Only these guys had this model Key Fob instock and did it having to make an Without Appointment. Everyone else told us they would have to order the key and will take about 5 days.Really Happy with their service and that they had the key in stock and we were done in 30 minutes. Called asking for help getting into my car, a gentleman picked up that spoke very poor English. After our talk and me not feeling comfortable with him, I then decided to use my roadside assistance from progressive instead. The man still showed up and lied to me when I asked if he was sent to me by progressive road side. After finally getting him to admit he wasn’t with progressive roadside, he copped an attitude and made me pay $25 for his trip out. I paid to not create a problem. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Was going to use you to help rekey a few vehicles. I am asking for a REFUND as I found this RIDICULOUS. The real roadside assistance rep showed up moments after and did an excellent job.

I called Key Rescue Who told me it be $15 just to come out and do a service call plus whatever the tech needed to charge after two days of phone calls with them I finally get somebody to tell me an estimate cost. It would’ve been $15 +65 or more for them to pop up in my safe. I called A-1 !and they told me a flat rate of $30 and no more. I get there and Jeff and James saved my day James Jimmie to screwdriver into it and popped it open and didn’t even charge me! You guys have my business for life and my high recommendations if I ever need anything again with locks you will be the first people I call and spend my hard earned money on! The guy they sent out was extremely rude and unprofessional. He tried charging a ridiculous amount to begin with. After not agreeing with the price and trying to negotiate he was getting frustrated and saying inappropriate things. He kept rolling his eyes and speaking under his breath. At the end, after calling a different place that was charging me way cheaper, he wanted to match prices. I refused since he was giving me such horrible service and told him to leave. He did not want to leave until I had to raise my voice at him.Never calling this place again

A-1 Locksmith was AWESOME! Jeff and Ed the Head, were very professional, and took care of my needs. James was awesome too, even though he was on vacation. I had a duplicate key with buttons, made, and they were right on point, when it came to programming it. I had a appointment window today from 9am-1pm. I mentioned to the lady that was quite a window. And she correctly stated that its better to have a wide window than to have disappointed customers. I said that I needed to pick up my grandson from school at 3:15pm. And she assured me that this would be no problem. I took it upon myself to leave the office early today to insure I will be home during this window. Around 12:30pm no technician or phone call. I called A1 and spoke with a gentleman (pretty professional) who told me the tech was just finishing up at another location. While talking to him I received the call from the technician. He informed me that he wont be at my home until 2pm. Quite naturally I wasnt pleased with this. If I wouldve got a phone call at 11am I would have had a much different response. The tech expressed to me that DeSoto is nearly out of their service area. Which is completely irrelevant as there should have never been an appointment made in the first place if this was a pivotal issue. He then suggested that I call Pop a lock to get service. If any of my agents decided to tell a client to go to a competitor I would immediately reprimand them. But whats worse about this story is it tells me that either the company or this particular employee doesnt respect my time. And this exhibits a poor example of quality customer service. You can get more money.. You can get more assets. But once your time is squandered its gone forever.

Locked my keys in the trunk. Contacted A-1. Very nice young man came very quickly. Had my car open and keys out in no time at all. And it did not cost me a fortune. Yahoo!! Hope I never find myself in this situation again, but if I do, A-1 will get the call.

These guys were great. I had a very obscure, dealer only overseas key that I needed copied. The guys were very helpful and cut their closest key free of charge. It ended up not working but the way they acted made me a customer. Great guys.

Horrible customer service, as soon as we stepped in, before even a word was said the man at the counter had an upset look in his face like he was bothered to receive customers. once we asked for pricing we were quoted outrageous pricing. We asked to cut keys on a car without programming and even higher if programmed. we thought wed give this location a try attempting to support an actual brick and mortar locksmith. my first experience at this location will be the last and will not be recommending.

Bait & Switch. Was told $15 trip charge (true) & $19 to re-key a lock (NOT TRUE). They wanted $350 for 1 door and $185 for another. Was told that the $19 was if I brought my lock in. Somehow I dont think they were going to pay me the $15 trip charge if I brought my lock in. Stay away from these people.

We came home early one morning after collecting family members from DFW to discover that the door fixture from the garage to our kitchen had literally fallen to pieces. I tried to remove it, thinking that this would be a simple replacement of one locking fixture with another. After a while, I could get the assembly partially done, but the main locking shaft would not budge. THAT is when I called A-1 Locksmith. They said that it was a busy day, but maybe they could fit me in between 10 a.m. and noon. About 11:15 a.m., they called to apologize that their locksmith was hung up with a job for 7-11 much longer than he had though. They promised that he would be there within 90 minutes, and he was there in an hour!Benjamin came in, asked if he could enter our house without shoe covers (THAT is considerate!) and then he looked at the garage door. He asked, HOW OLD is this lock???? - - 1955. He said, Ive never seen one like this but Ive heard of them. I turned my back, turn around, and he had the lock off. There was a tiny dimple on the shaft that only required the right tool, a push, and it would slide off. He rebored the door, replaced the lock with a modern black fixture, and he said anything else??? Heck, this was 15 minutes! I said, sure, how about looking at our front door too. Same thing. In 30 minutes, he had replaced the front door bolt with the SAME KEY AS THE GARAGE DOOR!! THAT makes life simple. He then checked our patio door, gave a squirt of some locksmith grease, and it works like new. ALL OF THIS WAS LESS THAN $150.These are terrific locksmiths!!! If you have a problem, BE SURE TO ASK FOR BENJAMIN. He is friendly, professional, and he will solve all of your problems.

A complete rip off. They advertise saying they would charge 20$ and I was charged 360$ just to drill a whole in the existing lock and fixing a new one. This is a bloody scam for all the new comers in Toronto. I happened to speak to my friends later and was told I could literally get a new door fixed for the same price I paid for a stupid door knob. If it wasn’t an emergency i would just hope I dint call these guys. Fake advertising and overcharging scam artists!😡😡

I bought a used car and was directed there with a receipt to get my keyless entry fob. This was over year ago. I showed up and was told it will take a while to program my car. I used my lunch time for this so I figured one hour would not be enough. I returned later. On my return it took less than 10 minutes to program my car and get the fob. I had to wait about 20 minutes before though. It was nearly impossible to get their attention since they were busily working on their stuff and clearly expecting you to know theyre busy. Very cold reception for a prepaid service in my opinion. Fast forward to today, the fob is not working even after having the battery replaced. I showed up and told them. He said the battery might be dead. I explained it had been replaced. He said then the fob is short or something like that. It needs to be replaced for like a $100. I mentioned that I got it from them. Their response was that the warranty was for 6 months. And without missing a beat he asked if I wanted to buy another fob for about $100. I declined and left. My thoughts: Does a fob have a life expectancy of barely over a year?? If I bought one for about $100 over a year ago and now Im back at your store getting the same thing, wont you bother to find out why the first one you sold me didnt last? It could genuinely be my fault and Im ok with that. But to hurriedly sell me a replacement without any attempt whatsoever to find out why is not a sign of good service. I can live with the cold attitude but not the negligence I felt.
