Today was my first time there, I just get off my car and felt like home. The service was great, I will definitely go back. It was worth the drive.

When ever I go to that store it takes me back to my childhood when I stayed in Tunner Courts Projects back in the golden yrs.. The last time I visited that store was back in 2018.. Im glad its still there maybe one day Ill visit again.. I love their fresh cut cold cuts and I was surprised to see they still sold one of my childhood favorites.. Jugle Juice 😋

Hello out there public is me again 😎 I actually been going to this place for over 35 years.They still have fresh meat cuts, from bologna to salami pressed ham neck bones pig feet.And all at reasonable prices.So come on down and get some of this for good home down cooking. 😎👍

I shopped here today for the first time. All the butchers had great customer service and pleasant attitudes. The guy who helped me was friendly, knowledgeable and had patience. The cashier who rung me up was so rude and unprofessional.

I was very very impressed with the quality of the meat, however they do charge what its worth! I was informed that may be a better priced meat market than most due to the location. In any case l will shop there again the customer service was good! You basically have to tell them how much money you want to spend on the item (first)before you just say I want one of those and one of those and 2 of those. I hope this makes sense! To follow up! The chicken wings were 3:39 lb I purchased 1.74 lb at$5.92. lastly I purchased two separate pounds of high-quality hamburger meat.

Party wings are the boom, love the whole oxtails chopped up right in front of per your request in thickness, and Smokey Denmark links. I love my black neighborhood Packing House. I thinks they should open more. Heading back there today.

They only let a few people in at a time while making everyone mindful of the 6 ft rule. They were out of a few things I wanted but made up for by having things I enjoyed in my childhood. Everyone was nice friendly.

Somewhat rude meat cutters. Yells from across the counter to ask What you want. Meat display has no prices. Seems to annoy workers when asked what things cost. I guess you should just say give me $10 worth of this and $20 worth of that. That might get you through. Good luck

Good prices, fresh meat. You can buy 1 hamburger patty, 2 peices of bacon,3 slices of lunch meat, $ 2.00 worth of ox tails, 1 fresh pig feet under $12.00 or what every your budget is.

The store has good prices, however, it has some serious cleanliness concerns and the customer service is atrocious, at best, at the deli counter. The use of loud profanity makes you want to walk out.

Wonderful place to shop if your looking for bargain prices on meat and canned goods. Also it takes a bit of time as the lines are long at the meat counter but its worth it.

Pretty decent little market for meat. What regular packaged food they have can be a little over priced & basic, but the staff is friendly & willing to help you. You can tell them how many pounds of something you want or how many dollars worth you want & they are ready & willing to go with the flow in getting your order filled. Lots of selection when it comes to meat & the prices are pretty much the same as you would find anywhere else. The store seems to be run like your old time butchers back in the day which was a unique experience for someone who is used to shopping at the big chain stores. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

Dont waste your money at the grocery store if you are looking for oxtails. I bought a little over 4 lbs of pre-cut oxtail for $18. They cut it up for me with no additional charge. Same cut at the grocery store will be priced in the upper 20s or low 30s. Good place - dont mind the neighborhood.
