Horrible customer service! Went to buy a wig and the tag said $49 on the wig, but at checkout said $70. I told them and showed them the $49 price tag on the wig and they refused to honor the price because it was labeled $70 on the wig stand!! I have been to loyal of a customer for too long. Dont shop here. Buyer be wear!!

I am legally blind, and can no longer tell colors. My friend took me to One Plus Beauty Supply on Skillman today to purchase 2 wigs. The Asian female owner assisted me. I told her the color I wanted, and she found and handed me the wigs. Once I got home, my friend noticed one wig was not the color I asked for, nor was it the color indicated on the package the owner found and handed to me. We immediately took it back to get the color I told her I wanted, and that she told me it was when she gave it to me. The female owner who assisted me immediately said she didnt hand it to me, and without even looking at the wig, she blurted out that was the last one they had in that style, which was a blatant and intentional lie, as she told us all the shades she had that style in as she was looking for the color I told her I wanted, and which was also the color the bag indicated. The male owner then started the mantra, No refund, no exchange! I didnt want a refund-I only wanted the color the female owner told me she gave me! I feel like she took advantage of my visual impairment. If I or.my friend had chosen the incorrect color, I could accept that, but thats not what occurred. The female owner looked through those wigs to find the color I told her I wanted, and she called out the other colors as she looked for the one I wanted. Unfortunately, Ihave to depend on others to see what I cant see, and since you cant try wigs on because of COVID, and cant return or get refunded, I asked the female owner to help me, and trusted what she gave me was what she said it was! I will NEVER frequent this establishment again!

Im here now and I unfortunately have to leave a bad review. Employees are rude too often AND Ive received conflicting information regarding store credit, etc. Its really annoying and frustrating to be given the run around.

Great place to get your beauty supply needs. Before you leave the parking lot ensure you check your receipts and the amount you have paid for your items. I purchased my hair ( 4 packages) braiding today and a few other smaller supplies. Went to the counter and the woman accidentally charged me $785 instead of $85. When I noticed the charge and the woman helped me with the issue quickly by voiding the transaction.

My favorite beauty supply. I travel a bit just to come here. They have a huge selection of everything. It’s very organized and clean. I love the point system where you earn points to get money off. The associates are always nice. My go to beauty supply.

Worst experience ever. I would never spend another dime in that place. One of the female cashiers the older one with the cold black hair attempted to spray me with the water today and called me out of my name behind if I was going to pay debit or credit . If it wasnt for Gods grace I would be in jail today. I will no longer support Asian people and their businesses in any kind of way. Please do not shop there they dont think anything a black American people.

I went today for the first time. I used my credit card it went through no issues. However, when I had to sign the receipt it was an issue because their receipt printed and my name didnt appear so they wouldnt let me get my items. Luckily, the refunded my money (wish I wont know forsure until sometime next week)I am extremely disappointed with this place & I will never ever come back again. I cant control what your credit card machine print out. Ridiculous! I should have just kept going to my normal store.

Clean, neat and great customer service

I love this place. Granted they could have a little more of a selection for crochet style, but for the size of this business it is ok. The staff arent necessarily overly friendly but they are in no way mean. You just need to have a clear understanding of what it is you are looking for or better yet know the name of the product and they can tell you off top of they have it or not.

There is a vast array of hair and other products here at reasonable prices. I went to 3 other beauty supply stores looking for a hair sponge. One in particular. This is the only place I always find it. The staff and Police Officer are very nice.

Im really disappointed in my purchase today. I bought a beautiful full lace human hair wig off the mannequin because it was the last one for $4 off. The part is 4 inches in just the middle and an inch and a half on the front sides. The rest is just black lace with tracks sewn on and a centimeter of lace attached to the back.🤦🏾‍♀️ I, of course washed it when I got home because it was on the mannequin and the hair is just sopping off in large chunks. Money literally down the drain. I guess Ill be looking for a new hair store or stay shopping on aliexpress where I can actually get a full lace wig. Not some lace front poorly thrown together and shedding like an animal

I only visit this establishment because its close to my residence. The people that work here are rude and will follow you around the store. Its very uncomfortable. I make my visits as short and sweet as possible. I gave it 2 stars because they have a great selection of my natural hair products.

You can find bundles at reasonable prices, they always have sales on hair and I also love the tights with the bling decorations on them. Nice array of cosmetics.

It was a nice Beauty Supply House I feel like they need to do a little bit more Remodeling and open up some of the sections there because if you dont look around and every area you might miss something good, like for instance when you walk in look to the far right theres a whole section with nice jewelry but if you dont pay attention you might miss it because it looks like a whole nother store inside a store. But overall they have a lot of nice products and a good makeup section the hair weaves are okay. To meet some of the prices are a little cheaper than other places as well here.

My go to store. Service is improving.Update: I went in today and the older lady cashier with short hair thought it was funny to rush me into decision in front of her co worker. This same cashier forget to remove security sensors causing the security alarm to beep upon leaving.Ive spent much money at this store and this lady has been rude many times, I decided to comment positively prior to todays experience to support business but enough is enough! Remember to remove your security sensors, it is an embarrassment and your reactions to it is humiliating as I am not a thief and actually work. I have spent $400 plus in one visit at this store and shes forgotten to remove sensors sending security out to humiliate me. I have been shopping at this store for years and I will be shopping elsewhere for now on. Hell it may be worth it to open my own beauty supply! Some of us actually like to PAY for the things we want and constantly asking me if Im ready while laughing is childish and annoying.

Horrible customer service, security stalks you like you are stealing and you can get a sense of slight racism. As a seller you always wear a smile on your face and be willing to help if you want to gain more consumers. Fix attitude !

Always find what I need. A better variety than others like it.

Make sure you double check the prices they charge you at the register. The prices are already too high. I’m not paying you $13 for something I can buy at Walmart for $7. On top of the fact that they are overpriced they frequently try to change the price at the register if you don’t pay attention. When you tell them that the price was less they say “oh the prices on the shelf are old”. Then they try to offer to adjust it like they are doing you a favor. If the prices are OLD UPDATE THEM! & if you have the price marked wrong, you should correct it for the customer and apologize. This has happened to me multiple times. No way everything I pick up is the wrong price. They just try to see if I’m paying attention. I won’t be coming back.

The location at Skillman and Royal has zero customer service skills. I’ve been shopping here for years and just found out today that you get a 10% discount if you’re a stylist. That’s something they’re not going to broadcast. They never want to answer any questions and only interact with you when you come in to spend a few hundred. I rather go to a black owned business and support them, than go back to this location, who clearly doesn’t give a darn about the customer.

They have a great selection on products but the owners are so rude to their customers its a shame that the African Americans women are not treated with good customer services and we keep this place in business, The ladies who work in the wig department are friendly, But the owners & staff at the check out are so rude they need to work on their customer services skills. They have a million security videos and a security guard sitting at the front overlooking the store watching your every move which is not cool hopefully I can find a better beauty supply store soon.

The owners are rude and disrespectful to their customers. My mother was there today and she asked if the display wig was 10% off in addition to 30% sale price because it was the last one and multiple people had tried it on. She asked the owner and requested that he reconsider the discount. In a very rude, abrupt, and dismissive way he told her to take it or leave it. She paid for the wig (only bc she needs it for an event tomorrow) and told him he didnt have to speak to her like that and that she wouldnt be back. My mother is 64 year old heart patient and educator. She deserves respect and kindness. Black women spend entirely too much money in the beauty supply industry to have to put up with rude owners and bad customer service. Their stores are in OUR communities. They send their kids to college with OUR money. WE deserve more respect. If the owners dont feel it is important to treat their black clients well, then they dont deserve our money and can move their shops elsewhere.

This is the only beauty supply store I will be going to from here on out. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the security guard is great, prices are affordable, and the selection is way bigger and better than most beauty supply stores around. This is definitely your best bet if youre looking for the complete package.

Great selection, moderate prices...customer service is exceptionally low. They seem to be irritated if you asked them where something is or any inconvenience to where they have to stop what they are doing to answer a customers questions. Thats why I wont be shopping there again. Sometimes people require assistance when shopping and as a consumer I expect to be helped and guided to the right products Ill need.

Typical beauty supply store. Good selection of both natural and traditional products. There is a security guard perched at the front door (literally on a pedastool). Dont expect high quality customer service. Also, dont come here if youre looking for expensive or high quality hair.

I called ahead to find the product line I wanted. It was indeed there. Service was courteous. Several of the items protective lid was up a little. But I do not believe that they manipulated the products in any way

They do not honor their own prices! They had multiple products marked for one price and then when I got to the register I was told that it was more than triple the price it states! And after being told that I could buy it for the regular price, not the sale price because the new girl marked it wrong, mind you the new girl is the only black person working in the whole store. I still had to wait until she finally finished talking to another person to ring me up for my other products. After she was done she started throwing trinkets from around the counter in my bag saying it was free. 😒 I laughed and told her to remove it from the bag and she said it ok its free for you........no maam. I dont want your trinkets for free I want you to honor your products as priced. Then I had to ask her for my receipt. Im dont know what they are used to but Im not the one! They are never going to get my money again.

Unprofessional!!! I asked for a product and the last rushed me to an isle to the wrong product. I was trying to explain what I wanted and she cut me off before I could explain. I was in town visiting my grandparents and came to buy some things for my grandmother so I could do her hair and they were completely and utterly rude to us the entire time. I’ve been in plenty of beauty supply stores, I’m getting my license in cosmetology. And this place was by far the worst experience that I’ve ever had in a store. Will not be coming back on my trips and my grandparents will definitely not be reccomending them to anyone either.

It was HUGH, I found quite a lot and saw quite a lot. It was breath taking.

The lady obviously doesnt know the difference between a straight raw texture, vs a wavy. I asked if this bundle matched this pack of hair cuz I didnt want to buy 2 packs she assures me that it was the same texture I knew shouldve checked myself.

Very huge beauty supply. They offer many more types of weaves thab regular sized beauty supply stores.
