We had a blast at Myx Blend Bar! We decided to go in and get some custom lipsticks while on a girls trip to Dallas, and we were not disappointed. The girls were so fun and helpful, and we all walked away with gorgeous colors personalized to each of us. They have many different colors and shades to chose from, along with 3 different types of lipsticks and 4 types of gloss. While it’s not a “cheap” activity per se, the experience was so worth it. Definitely will be visiting again on our next trip to Dallas!

We had such a great time here! I came with my sister and we both went in with very specific ideas of what we wanted. Audrey helped us and she was so helpful and we found the exact perfect colours so quickly. I loved all the options available like the scents. The finished lipsticks seem to be good quality so far and look great! I would definitely go back!

This place is my absolute favorite! It’s always a great experience! From the fabulous customer service, to the beautiful shop, to the mimosas and finally the actual product. Everything is top notch! I always get the exact color I’m asking for while having a fun experience at the same time. It’s my favorite place to bring girlfriends for a girls night out, a treat for Mother’s Day, or just a little pampering. You won’t be disappointed!

Brought one of my girlfriends and daughter here on Sunday. AMAZING! Such a unique and fun idea for a girls day. Sean helped us and he was just wonderful! Helped us blend the perfect shades and played along with our Mean Girl movie references. Would definitely ask for him again!

DO NOT COME HERE. I promise you, you will regret it. I truly would give 0 stars if I could.Two months ago, we began planning a bachelorette party and wanted to include this experience for our bride. Therefore, we booked 2 MONTHS IN ADVANCE to ensure that this would be possible. We also received a confirmation email in May, stating that our party of 10 was successfully booked. However, upon arrival to TX, we were told that our appointment was never booked. EVEN THOUGH, we had a confirmation email on our phones and it was booked two months in advance. The employee we spoke to, Aubrey, was NOT helpful in the slightest, rude, and did not even try to accommodate us. We even attempted to change the reservation to two people, just so the bride would be able to have a good bachelorette trip but they denied our request. (Keep in mind we had a confirmation email in hand and we were still told there was no appointment under our names.) Many of us drove 5+ hours to come to TX, only to be turned away and have our time wasted. This business lost $500-$600 that day. They need to learn better customer service and how to keep appointments, especially once said appointments are CONFIRMED BY THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. Do not even try booking anything here, because it will end up being cancelled, without notice, ruining all of your plans. Do not come to Myx Blend Bar Dallas.

The most fun experience!! I’m always looking for great things to do with my gals. On this particular occasion, I brought my bridesmaids to make our wedding lipstick color. The employees were a joy and I had no idea what went into making cosmetics. I ended up buying everything! Can’t wait to go again!!!

Experience was so bad I had to leave this review. Made a reservation online for 5pm. It stated to get there a little prior to your appointment time, so my bestie and I were there at 4:50pm. We didn’t even get to sit at the lip bar until literally 5:35pm. When we were finally seated, nobody helped us for 15 minutes. Other individuals who came in after us were being seated and helped. There were about 7 or so workers behind the counter- no acknowledgement or anything. The place looked super cool and seemed like a fun experience. The aesthetic was cute! But the customer service was not good at all. We were in town visiting and ended up leaving without fulfilling our appointment. This was a major disappointment since we had been looking forward to this experience for months. Do not recommend unless you have time to waste.

So fun! Brought a friend here for her birthday/post-breakup. Our Myx-er was absolute perfection! Wish I remembered her name. I have plans to bring my mom for her birthday next month... and anyone else. Everyone should enjoy this experience!

One of the coolest & best experiences ever! I have had the pleasure to Myx multiple times with my girl friends and even my 8 year old daughter and we ALL loved it! Perfect for any occasion or just because. The staff, the product, the store are just top notch! We will be back!

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I was in Dallas for the weekend to celebrate my cousins birthday and we had a reservation for 2:30. We were running late due to having to find a park in that area as we are not familiar and wasn’t aware of how crowded the area was. We called and informed her that we were running a little late she informed us that we have a 10 minute grace period. We parked our car and got to the door at 2:41pm. The manager Aubrey addressed us very rudely and told us that she will no longer be able to accommodate us, we were too late she also said that she will charge the card on file for 50% of the total amount that would’ve been charged if we were all to have participated in making the lipstick. So we asked to reschedule she told us 6. After thinking my friends and I decided that we did not want to support a business who we feel treated us with no respect at all. We went back to cancel our 6 o clock reservation and explained to the staff and manager that we did not want to patronize a business who we feel acted prejudiced towards a group of black women. The manager did not offer any type of apology on how she acted before she was rude yet again and said we were going to be charged anyway.

An absolutely amazing and unique experience! A hands on activity and steps you out of your comfort zone on colors! Camille was THE BEST assisting us through the whole process and will be bringing all of my friends back to experience this place. Thank you so much for such an awesome time.

Myx Blend Bar is amazing. When I walked in I was greeted warmly and helped pretty quickly, despite a much larger party also being there. I was looking to make a specific color I had in mind and my sweet myxologist helped to get it just right. From the atmosphere to (more importantly) the quality of the product, Myx did not disappoint. Can’t wait to bring my girlfriends back for a uniquely fun girls night!

Arrived in high spirits after driving 45 minutes from Fort Worth and enjoying a nice lunch at RH with my mom. We were greeted and sat promptly since it was later in the day and we had made an appointment online. Everything quickly fell down hill from there. My mom went first and the mixologist spent the first 20 minutes out of 30 on her blend. Which is totally fine but then make your appointments longer if each person only gets about 10 minutes by the time you’re done making a profile.When she finally got to me, I simply asked her to recreate the first blend she made my mom since I tried & liked it. Should be totally simple right, wrong. She tried to remake it but it looked dark brown, not the best color on me and not even close to the natural pink that was made before. Rather than happily remake it she told me it was the same color and her attitude toward us immediately changed. I guess she was offended I said it was brown? Some people like brown, it’s just not what I asked for and nothing to be offended about. My feedback was polite, and they should be used to a little lighter, more pink, etc commentary at a custom lipstick bar, right? Her energy was off and she was loudly sighing and not communicating or talking with us or making any suggestions on how to fix it. She never introduced herself so I don’t know her name, she didn’t make any small talk like ask us where we were from, what brought us in, what color we were going for, nada.Her service was just not friendly, and I felt rushed when the group next to me was being treated way better and also over their allotted time. She told me, I have a 4pm so I guess we’re going with this one. I told her that I didn’t like the blend so I guess I was leaving without a lipstick. I did not say this, but there’s no way I’m paying $50 for a lipstick color I don’t even like. I think she thought it was ok to bully a customer that way. She had the nerve to ask me why I sighed by the end of the appointment and I was gracious enough to say it’s because I had to have to leave without a lipstick instead of pointing out how rude she was the entire appointment and how uncomfortable she made us feel. I was drained by the end of my appointment, and really regretted coming. I had already told a friend and my realtor about my weekend plans to come here, but I will not be recommending it to them nor anyone in the future unless their customer service improves dramatically.Finally she tapped on another employee who was much friendlier and a sweetheart to make my lipstick. I was told I would get to try my final blend before making it into the mold but I didn’t get to. Super disappointing, and no satisfaction guarantee. Obviously we didn’t get any mimosas or offer for a beverage or water like other reviews. Overall, the employee ruined what could have been a really fun day out with my mom. A lipstick bar is such a cute concept but with inconsistent color matching and poor customer service, you’re way better off getting a makeup consultation at Sephora or doing another girls day activity where the employees are happy to be there.

Sean was the Best Host!! Friendly and enthusiastic and knew how to keep us 5 Ladies smiling! He gave us Fun and we all need sum of that!

The experience today was the worst ever.. I scheduled for 10.. originally I scheduled for 15 but was told that I would be held to that number so I went down and was told I could add more if they showed which is what I did on our prior visit .... well 13 of us showed up and 3 were denied service we were told that there was another party after ours..so they could not run over on time ...I was also told that they were struggling to do the people I scheduled which was odd because you schedule so they could have enough staff is what I was told then she said she was struggling to do our party without the 3 people she denied service to...then after I was upset she said she could do us after the others maybe she forgot about Casper the friendly ghost and his friends that was after us because now no party is coming the phone has not rung nonone walk in to cancel so it had the be Casper and friends coming she was not accommodating or friendly never once apologized only one of the ladies that worked there did and she was trying to fit us in while the other lady was not having it because Casper was next!! crazy tail self!! I told them that I was leaving a review and I also said we would not be back not once was there win back attempt no NOTHING!! EVERYTIME IM IN WEST VILLAGE it empty on there no wait Casper nem be In there my bad !! you should do better business and you should definitely let your customers know that you NO LONGER ACCEPT CASH !!! because those were not the rules on our last visit then the only thing you could say was since June how are we suppose to know that prior to showing up!!! I had to leave a star to review!

It was absolutely terrible. Made an apt for 6pm, we arrived at 5:45pm. Once we arrived they barely greeted me and my party of 4. Another party of 6 came in and they were greeted and met with mimosas then afterwards they gave my party mimosas. They sat a table of 2, 3, and 6 before us when we arrived earlier than them. Attempted to speak with the manager and she had the WORSE attitude advising it’s based off your “mixologist” which I didn’t ask for a specific one so that didn’t make any sense. After 45 minutes past our appointment we still were not seated, I asked for the owners information and left. Called the owner to advise of the service that my party experienced left a voice message and haven’t heard back. No customer service.

I booked a reservation for 7 PM, drove 45 min in traffic and was late because of an on-the-spot accident in front of me that was out of my control. Originally, I wasn’t informed of the 15 min grace period until I called and asked. We rescheduled in-person for 8 PM with the grace period in mind. Understand that they wouldn’t have given it to us if my friend didn’t ask. Their energy projected that they were trying to not be here on a Wednesday with the gloomy weather. We could tell.Being around corner as we said we’d be at, (exactly one restaurant down), we arrived at 8:06 only to see them gone from the building. Initially, the sign in front of their door says they close at 9 PM. If we have a reservation, I would expect them to respect the grace period, even if it’s the last time available. From the very start, my friends and I felt Audrey was trying to leave from the get-go. Her energy and tone seemed off. Even on the phone when I confirmed the appointment 2 hours before, i had a feeling in my gut she thought I would “flake” because i had a robo-killer for unknown callers and could not follow up til I got off work. I even called mid-traffic to let her know we’re on the way - why would i turn around and go home?For me to drive this far just to be dismissed before closing time shows me a lack of professionalism and I don’t feel comfortable coming back. Neither do my friends. The aesthetic is nice, but being 5 minutes past the grace period time with no appointments after is so confusing to me. If this is a 45 min experience, would it kill to take us in anyway? We would’ve finished at 8:05, and they still would’ve been able to dip. There were only 2 of them there, and 1-2 other customers with a bunch of chairs available. Seems to me that they might’ve left after those 2 customers did so that they could leave early, or hid in the back. I understand people may flake on them all the time, but to assume? They have my number. I’m disappointed, because I really wanted to experience this with my friend, one of which came in town, just for them to jump the gun and cancel. I understand things happen, but this seems unacceptable. Other than that I heard good things for their houston location, but I hope they’re not always like this with other customers.

Visited MYX with my bestie for our bdays! Had an amazing experience with Camille. She helped us select and create the perfect custom lipstick shade. Along with our beautiful new lipsticks, she gave us great beauty tips and recommendations to keep our lips looking plump! The studio was very clean, temperature checks upon arrival and proper social distancing in place. Can’t wait to come back again with more friends!

Myx excels from the awesome management down to the mixologist. I absolutely love the shades that I was able to create... perfect Fall additions. However, the reason that I will return again next season is the superior customer service offered by the location’s management.!This company can be trusted to get things right!If you’re debating going .... I normally don’t even review places but this place was so badly disorganized that I had to let it be known. Originally saw MYX on TikTok and looked super cool! I booked everything online for me and my friend. We arrived early. And that’s when everything went down hill. We waited for about 45 minutes past our scheduled appointment. Then proceeded to wait another 30 minutes after being seated. Everyone around us was being helped. The hostess who sat us left randomly and announced she was taking an Uber. There were 7 people working behind the lipstick bar. No one acknowledge us. There was another group next to us who had been sitting for 20+ minutes. It got so bad we walked out. The place looks cool and I do hope they get their customer service in order but sadly tI won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend to my friends.

This place was awesome! We went there for my friends Birthday celebration and had a blast!! Camille walked us through the whole process, she was knowledgeable friendly and had a lot of patience with us! If you go here ask for Camille she s the best!!

Such a fun experience. Our host Jen was knowledgeable and fun, and I would recommend her highly. The store and process were immaculately clean: temperatures were checked on entry, everyone was wearing masks unless you were actively trying on your lipstick. They even gift you a mask with your package!

Went this past weekend with my sisters and mom, we all loved it ❤ very clean relaxing setting and great customer service Jen did a great job very sweet and professional and SHE KNEW WHAT SHE WAS DOING!!!👍👍👍

Went for a girls night and had THE BEST time! We worked with Leslie & Camille and are already planning on coming back again. They were professional, knowledgeable, and really made it feel like we were just hanging out with friends. We all left satisfied with our custom lipsticks and the formulas are great. I also love that they save your custom colors to your profile so you can come back and buy your favorites anytime!

What a fun place! The whole experience wasjust so enjoyable. The gals at the shop were very sweet and explained everything. They talked us through each step. They were very patient with my pickiness and helped me make the perfect colors! My mom also got her perfect colors. Fun experience but expensive

I celebrated my birthday with friends and we made some beautiful shades of lipstick. It was first Friday and the drag queen show was so entertaining. Im definitely coming back for my next get together with friends.

I had the most AMAZING experience here! I did the mommy and me package and it was literally the best decision I made for my trip to Dallas. My appointment was for 8pm but they take their last client at 8:15 on Saturday so when I called to say I was running late due to getting a bit lost there was no issue. It was just us for the appointment and I was ENAMORED by the service. The young lady working was sweet, fun, personable, informational, engaging, just overall great! We had so much fun drinking soda and champagne while making lipstick and a lipgloss I was ready to go home and rant to everyone I knew when a special little girl in their life to give it a go. I can’t wait till they open their Houston location because I will be there front and center. Do yourself a favor, make an appointment, and go have the time of your life.

Not only a really fun experience but top notch customer service! I brought in a group of 8 for my birthday and we had the best time. Everyone on staff was SO nice & patient with our crazy group. We had a couple girls leave feeling like our colors were a little lighter than we saw in store so I called and Kendyll, the operations manager, blew me away!! She sympathized with us, thanked us for giving her the opportunity to make it right and immediately remade the colors with the highest amount of pigment — and even shipped them all straight to our homes with a handwritten card. You can’t find customer service like this anymore. Would go back and recommend them to anyone! Way to go MYX!!

Me and my 9 year old daughter went into the Blend Bar the other day and had BLAST! It was a really cool experience & the Manager that helped us was so friendly & explained everything. She made our experience there even better, explained everything and showed us a good time.The Mommy & Me package is what we ended up doing. It’s a great deal; a lipgloss & lipstick for the price of one! We are planning on doing my daughters birthday party there in the fall; she can’t wait. Definitely a place to go on a Saturday when you are looking for something to do & my custom lipgloss & lipsticks are amazing quality and look fabulous on! Such a cool idea! Chrisse & Camille are the BEST. Not only did they make our experience so personable but extremely fun and relaxing too! Make an appointment, call and make sure they are working before you come in!!
