Love this store! Many hard to find items with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. My favorite section of the store is the fastener aisle. There are literally hundreds of drawers, offering a wide variety of screws, bolts, nails and more; plus other hardware items from knobs to springs. A selection you wont find at the big box, home centers.Now Ace isnt known for its low prices, but they are competitive with the big guys on many items. Even though they might be slightly higher than said big guys, they provide a level of service you wont find many other places - and thats worth paying for. There is unfortunately no lumber yard or huge selection of building materials. But as the name implies theyre a hardware store and in that category, they win hands down.My only complaint is that I wish this store was bigger.

This hardware store is full of inventory- not quite as diverse with one-of-a-kind items like the old Turner Hardware. The staff is knowledgeable and were extremely helpful- they even spent a great amount of time looking on line to see if they could help me locate a specific product- turned out that product is no longer manufactured. Good pricing on tall paper yard bags. And they made keys in a timely manner. Much better experience than a big box hardware store.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The manager went above and beyond to resolve an issue I had with an online order. He also let me come in and buy a new faucet, ours just disintegrated, 2 minutes after closing time on a Sunday.As far as price goes, they wanted less than Home Depot and Amazon for something I needed,(by about $8.00).

Love Ace for their friendly and knowledgeable people. They usually have everything I need. This trip I was looking for wall insulation, which they did not stock.

One of the few places around you can walk in and find some fine thread, class 10.9 metric bolts on a weekend. Its also close to the Dallas Makerspace which makes it handy for weekend projects.The hardware selection is pretty good, not like M&S but much easier to get in and out of in a pinch. I usually find myself waiting much longer than one would expect for a 2-3 person checkout line or to find something thats out of place, which is the only star off.

Ace has bolts, wing nuts, screws, and washers that Home Depot doesnt. They always seem to have what I need. I especially like the unusual gift items I dont see anywhere else. Lots of sport teams souvenirs, funny cards, and things for home decor, as well as usual hardware stuff like hammers and wrenches.

For many of my younger years I didnt get Ace. Prices slightly higher than the big box and smaller inventory. Now older and with many more skills I find myself at Ace more than any of the bigger stores. Typically more educated employees and many of the things youll never find elsewhere. Pay pennies more to save dollars long term. :)

Ace is the place if your needing that special item . its big store and lots to see if you know what you want or need for that special job your doing.. But when it comes to employees trying to help you your better ask another customer because the employees lack knowledged of anything but sitting there making thier hourly wage.. The store is so disorganized it mind boggling.. Good luck fellow shoppers youll need it there....

This place is poorly run. Website says they have the item in stock that I want. Order placed online for curbside and get the email that its ready for pickup. I drive 30 min there only to find out that they never had the item but picked a similar item and tried to fulfil that. the employee knew they didnt have it in stock and even asked the manager about it but they still fulfilled it even though it didnt match what I ordered period when I asked the manager why it was even fulfilled when clearly the skus dont match he just said I dont know and sorry and didnt offer to do anything to make it right. Really disappointed in the disorganization as well as the response to the manager admitting they royally messed up.

A new project popped up in our mind and we were desperately looking for a circular saw. We reached to this location of Ace at 5:58 PM (just 2 minutes before the closing time). The door was closed but they allowed us to enter. Not only that, they helped us in getting the one we wanted so quickly that we were back in our car in straight 4 minutes with the saw. Great service guys! Keep it up.

Great local hardware store that fills gaps that the big chains dont. They have a good selection of traeger accessories and some grills. They can also copy many expensive car keys for much lower prices than a dealer, I got a spare for my Toyota and it works like the original. The staff is also very helpful.

Ace Hardware, Formally Turner Hardware which was The Go To Hardware Store for literally anything you needed. Well, now as Ace its not nearly as good or complete as before but still has the best available when it comes to fasteners. I still shop here and again when it comes to fasteners or metal stock, mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel you stand a better chance of finding it here then elsewhere. I remain a loyal customer.

I like this neighborhood hardware store. Prices are a bit higher than the big box stores, but employees are always super nice and helpful along with a smile and good advice! I am usually a price shopper but I do appreciate the small town feel and periodic sales at this store. Sometimes have harder to find items. Give it a try!

My go-to hardware store since moving to North Dallas. Light years ahead in customer service. Very clean, well stocked, and organized. Easy to find what you need, and a fun place to browse around for DIY or home improvement projects.

This is an amazing independent ACE Hardware store. You can actually find someone with knowledge of the hardware and supplies you will need for any project. Have more than I need

Updated old fashioned hardware store that will always be Turners in the hearts of the neighborhood. Theyve added a lot of useful stuff and just stuff you need such as bird food and a wide selection of glue. Friendly and helpful; theyre always ready to take you seriously and help you solve whatever riddle youre trying to work out.

Gm Jose and his team are focused on making shopping there easy and fast. If youre in a hurry or are unfamiliar with a product that you need, they can help you fast.

If you need a strange part then come here. They have it. Ive been building and repairing for over 28 years, rarely do they not have a similar replacement part. They will carry the strange item I need but may not have the right size. Most staff members have been there for years and will know what you need and where to get it. The young ones do not have the experience to know what item is what or ways to solve customers problems. They try but are clueless. I do shop here frequently. HD and Lowes are useless unless it is standard construction item. The staff is great! I go in for problems to be solved.

If you cant find it here youre probably not going to find it. Worth the drive! :-)

Always super friendly and very helpful. Staff here will walk you to the area you need to find the product you are looking for. They are usually waiting near the front door to help you. Quick in and out makes it easier than a bigger box home improvement store.

Staff is helpful. Had a discontinued American Standard Bath stem that was broke new seal didnt help. Staff found the right part to rebuild the discontinued stem.

Definitely had a decent selection the things and its a large location thats close to my house. But I did go in to purchase fuel hose line for my weed eater and although there is only two options available I was not actually able to complete the purchase. Its not that the tube was expensive or that I couldnt find it I simply couldnt find an employee to help me cut off what I needed

Impressively large selection of items with a great team of employees who were almost uncanny in how helpful they were. I asked someone for hydrated lime and he knew the exact isle and location by memory. They even offered to carry the items to my car. Thanks guys.

Employees i encountered were all friendly and helpful. Found a cheap key ring and a plant stake. That was about it. But the customer service made up for the lack of stuff i found to buy.

Some restocking issus, but overall has most common hardware items. Home depot has construction hardware, but Weatlake has twice the variety (steel, stainless, brass etc.), repair/replace type and sizes.

Had to come here for a speciality tool that no other hardware store had. I found a gentleman to help me and roughly/terribly explained the tool I needed and he directed me straight to it. I think his name was Phil. The store was clean, well organized, well marked, and the service was great.

I much prefer ACE to the big box places, and this is the best of both worlds. A relatively huge place, not as big as the big boys, but large enough for most projects. The real edge comes from the staff, which is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. In short, everything the staff at the bigger places all too often arent!

Very helpful employees working there

Brought these guys a broken off key, with little to no hope of getting one made. The blank was showing in Stock, but not on the rack. The guys helping me went out of their way to track down the needed key in Stock that was still in boxes they had just received. After a couple attempts they were able to make a working key. Also had my pocket knife sharpened (which they tried to give that to me free), Im not that type, and gladly insisted/ paid for the service anyway. But they took a very good amount of time and effort for what amounted to $5 out of my pocket. Outstanding customer service is rare these days, so i felt necessary to take MY time to write a good review. Thank you, from a very satisfied customer.

Which now brings me to this. : Alot of times you have employees at stores or companies that are not paid very well and lot of times you get, No we dont have it for the easy underpaid have to do nothing answer. Im of the opinion when management Sees they have a great employee as with Julia, please reward them with a raise not a bonus. Bonuses are one time things. The last major chain of hardware stores to actually practice excellent customer service. On Sunday they had a popcorn machine going! Love the selection of hardware and small parts cant find that anywhere else.
