Great place to get all of your pool supplies. I have an above ground pool and was able to get everything I need quickly and at a great price! Super nice people and will be doing all my pool need through Crown Pools from now on.
I bought a pool 2 months ago and was well aware there was a 2 MONTH wait on the install. The ONLY reason I went forward with my $6200 purchase of the pool was that Wesley Boyer, the general manager, found a liner in stock that I liked. So I bought it!Fast forward to less than 24 hours to install almost 2 months later! Crown Pools of Dallas has no phone reception and I get an email from Wesley that they have installed my liner that I PAID FOR, into someone elses backyard!!! The liner that convinced me to move forward with my purchase! Long story short, I told him I would move forward with the ugly alternative liner and install if they discounted it. He would not do it. So, they gave someone else my liner I paid for but would not make it right. This is a very short version of all that took place.If you REALLY, want their pool and equipment, dont trust them to hold it while waiting for your install .1) The installer will never initiate your install. You will have to text and call multiple times to get any typeresponse. He might even ask you to go get 2.5 yards of mason sand that he is supposed to get to level your pool, like they did me!2) They will put YOUR pool and liner in someone elses backyard and you will not get an apology or or any kind of accommodation!
Take this with a dash of salt as this takes place 2021. The store itself has helpful staff, a comfortable environment, whatever you imagine when it comes to a good pool retail store. However my main issue is the installers. If youre looking for pool make sure you have all you boxes checked. Installers for this company are shaky at best. I managed to get my pool installed after 2 months of headaches and a bad permit submitted. Its not the store or the Mangers fault just a bad experience with the installation process beyond that decent service with patience staff. The chances of having you needs addressed is minimal at best.
Polaris 360 hose swivel parts cost me $25 for the 1 swivel and 2 hose compression rings. The same parts on Amazon are $8.65. I willingly pay more at local stores, but nearly triple the price is unacceptable.
They are super knowledgeable and can tell you anything about your pool or spa!
My wife and I purchased an 18 above ground pool from the Dallas location around 2 years ago. I can say that the customer service at both the Allen location and Dallas was amazing. They were excited to sell us a pool, and catered to us during the purchase.Well, after we bought the pool things took a change. My wife and I had questions as would any first time pool owner. What chemicals do we use, how often, etc..We would bring in routine water samples, either at Allen or Dallas. Everytime we did so, we would get a completely different set of chemicals to use in our mineral pool. Every time we spoke with an associate or manager, it was a different direction on what to put in our pool.We were sold over $200 in pool chemicals, only to be told later, we were sold the wrong stuff. The manager apologized and said its new staff that was hired. Ok, no problem, Ive been a retail manager for 25+ years. I get it, but credit me and let me get the chemicals I should have gotten. Nope, no offer to take care of it. Just purchase the new chemicals. Absolutely ridiculous! The Allen location manager I spoke with made it good. She refunded the chemicals the Dallas location should have done to begin with.Fast forward to this season, and Im needing a new ionizer replacement cell for my mineral pool. Dallas location says in store to my wife and I that they are out of stock, but a female manager that was the would be bringing some to the store. Give them my name and number and they will call me when its in... No phone call. I called to follow up and its a short no we dont have it. No offer to help locate one or explain why I was never called.I call Allen today, August 7th in the morning. A gentleman says he needs to ask his GM, and he promised he would call me back, being he knew Dallas never returned my call. Guess what? He never bothered to return my call.All Im trying to do is get the proper pool supplies from the supplier I purchased my pool from, and they dont seem to care at all about my wife and I, as customers.Its always a different answer. Just go back and forth between the two stores and ask several employees and youll get different answers every time. Why cant we just get a correct answer with what to use for our pool? Why is it after we purchased our pool, Crown doesnt seem to care at all?Its beyond ridiculous that I have to go through this much trouble to spend money with this company.When you as employees of Crown tell a customer you will call them back, do so! Two different Crown Pools in two days and nobody there can be bothered.I found my Natures Pure ionizer replacement cell online finally and ordered it there. Would like to have purchased it with Crown, unfortunately they couldnt be bothered.John & Andrea C.

Tough to do business with.Went in person got ideas on size of pools and given paper on prices...Tried several times to get bid on install.Set appt..no show no phone. nothing.Called Crown 6 to 7 times wont answer phone wont call back.Installer showed..10 days no word.Went to Crown told we are busy.Mgr bad attitude.Dont do business with this company.This hard to buy..how hard to get installed.

For the record, this negative review is not based on their quality of work. I cant comment on that, as I never got that far. I have placed three calls to Crown Pools in as many weeks in order to get a consultation regarding the purchase and installation of a semi above ground pool, but Ive had no response whatsoever. Granted, this a very busy time of year for most pool companies, but nobody is so busy that they cant place a one minute phone call to touch base with a potential customer. I selected Crown as they show to have one of the highest ratings in the area, but as to the level of customer service so far, I am unimpressed and disappointed. This negative review may actually illicit a response, but the window of opportunity for Crown is closing fast.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE 😡😡When we bough our pool cash (05/04/2020) Jonathan told us our pool is going to get here in 1 week to 1 1/2 witch end up been more then 2 month they install on July 18 we start to have a leak crown pool never answer the phone. Then Jonathan keep telling me the owner already know about my problem and that he going to call me, but as today August 20, 2020 no one has contact me about my leak. I WILL NEVER SPEND A CENT IN THIS PLACE AGAING😡😡😡😡😡😡
DO NOT BUY A POOL FROM CROWN POOLS! Their customer service is the worst I’ve ever seen. We purchased a pool mid May of this year, we were told to expect it in 2-3 weeks and that it was already manufactured. After patiently waiting for 3 full weeks we finally called the store and asked for a status update. We were told that it still wasn’t in but would be another week or two, this has occurred multiple times. We have also gone into the store multiple times to ask about our pool and received the same answer. We were misled from the very beginning just so that Crown Pools could get a sale. We have been lied to from the beginning and told what we “want to hear” to appease us, but we are absolutely fed up with the BS and lies coming from the employees. When we went into the store today the store manager Wesley Boyer blames the manufacturer and the pandemic and did not take any blame or apologize or use any kind of basic customer service. He basically said that they lied from the beginning and clearly acted like he did not care that we were unhappy. His actions, behavior and words were unacceptable for someone in the customer service business and I am SHOCKED that he has remained an employee of this location for as long as he has. I would NEVER recommenced this store to my worst enemy. If you want to be treated with the most basic human decency DO NOT GO HERE! I wish I could leave ZERO stars.

I am very happy with my experience at Crown Pools. My Sales Manager Jack Willeford is a very knowledgeable pool man and very nice also. He has gone out of his way to help me figure out what pool I needed and how to take care of the 30 foot round pool I purchased and the chemicals to keep it going. I wish I hadn’t waited so long to get this wonderful pool and I am glad to know Crown pools will help me if I need it.
Amazing customer service here - Ive relied on Crown Pools twice when an unexpected malfunction happened with my pool equipment, and they have exceeded my expectations both times...NOT easy to do. Jack really pulled it off this time by going to bat for me regarding a warranty situation, and handled everything entirely. Just wanted to put out a big thank you to Jack over at the dallas location. He helped me with my Active 10 sweeper that had just ran out of warranty about 8-9 months get fixed. He talked to the manufacture and got them to warranty the unit. Its is people like Jack that make it easy to keep doing business with Crown Pools. He Had talked to a few people that told him they could not help with it being out of warranty. So he kept talking to them until he found the right person that agreed with him about helping the customer.. Thank you Jack you really made our day.
I bought my first pool from Crown pools and Carlos has truly held my hand throughout this process! He responds to texts when I am confused. Once he explains the different aspects it’s always much clearer. It’s like your first child you don’t want to mess them/it up!He has never acted annoyed if anything the opposite!Everyone here is very friendly! The help and guidance CARLOS has supplied is first rate!
