Sally is always so friendly and helpful. Her store has a little of everything.

Customer service is everything for small businesses and The Yellow Bird has the customer service of toilet paper that has been on the bathroom floor of a gas station covered in urine for weeks. Unless you fit the mold of what the owner thinks is the appropriate customer, you could be asked to leave or completely ignored. Save yourself a visit and avoid this shop and consider other great local shops that have warm and friendly staff members.My advice to the owner: Your customers are your livelihood. Treat every visitor with respect and kindness otherwise they will go somewhere else. Understand that your actions and words affect others, and they can hurt. I hope that this review comes as a warning to you to not treat other customers how we were treated so that your business can turn around for the better.

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint dealer. Love this store! Small, but super organized with incredible creativity. The Owner is a wealth of information for your chalk paint projects. The store items are just beautiful and unique, but not inexpensive. Definitely recommend!

Sally, the stores proprietor is one classy lady. Her store has an eclectic feel with lots of fun antiques, plants, natural lotions and soaps too. She makes you feel welcome and is eager to answer questions about anything. This place is a must visit while in downtown historic Dalton, Georgia. This is a store you will love just as much as I did.
