See, Home Depot had been all over longer than another giant hardware stores measuring almost the same diameter and all theirs items in there, almost the same, yeah, Lowes is also an heavy hitter.What I did get from Home Depot? Yesterday I was getting ready my bike, installing the bike rack to carry this from Home Depot, it wasnt easy to secure the box over the rack. I bought a new plastic toilet seat because the old one was looking no good and also the hinges of the seat was broken. I had to secure it with wire but it was not the same, it wasnt steady, it was moving sideways. This plastic seat are not so solid but easy to clean them. It wasnt expensive, $19.99 plus taxes. I feel better now.You asking me again how was Home Depot. Was excellent with me, it took a wile to find an better toilet seat, because the old one I just dumped it on trash bin. This Home Depot is lucky to have Marty! If you need to buy any appliance, Marty is the man!!! He took all my concerns into consideration. We went through all the options at ALL THE STORES together! I 100% got the best deal. I don’t not feel swindled or unsettled about buying my energy efficient dishwasher. I now know more about them and will definitely be recommending anyone who wants to buy an appliance to head over and ask for Marty!!
You can absolutely find everything you need here, no doubt. BUT when they forget to bag an expensive item you need to get the flood water out of your basement after a hard rain, you may have a receipt as proof that you paid but does it even have the barcode on it that theyll ask for? NO. Are they going to blame you for there not being a barcode? Absolutely. I will never shop here again. My mother was given such a difficult time and just about broke down in tears from this terrible customer service. Shame on this store.If only I could rate with zero stars.

Not recommended for any projects or large appliance orders. They are severely understaffed and its very challenging to get customer service if you have any issues. We did one flooring project through them and it was impossible to get any one on the phone to deal with any changes or issues. There were mistakes on the quote and we had to physically go to the store and wait for a long time to speak to the appropriate person several times to get everything sorted. The flooring came out okay and was definitely less expensive than through a more specialized store, but there are noticeable quality issues with the final install. Similarly, I recently ordered appliances through them and when we had issues with backorder/delays it was impossible to get anyone on the phone in the appliance department. IF you do order appliances through them - order each one separately else they will all be delayed until the final one is available!! But I recommend ordering elsewhere where you can get better service.
I have been using this Home Depot for many years it’s a great location I do have a problem with Home Depot customer service in general I would explain my personal perspective I am a contractor I order through Home Depot each year tens of thousands of dollarsI unfortunately bought insurance to one of my drills it is the second time and happens to me with Home Depot and they expect me to find my insurance I am 100% to use my membership phone number when I purchased it each time cost me over $100 just for the insurance but unfortunately about two years later after my $400 drill broke they did not help me at allI will obviously continue buying and spending money at Home Depot but I will absolutely not use their insurance again and I don’t recommend using any of their tools insurance and the future
Selection isnt as good as Colma but all the staff I have interacted with have been exceptionally helpful and generous with their time. Parking is a breeze (garage and lot have separate entrances ( unlike Colma). Lines are typically very short and staff are very efficient about getting people in and out. Havent had a bad experience. I was check to make sure they have what I need before I go, but when they do, this is my preferred HD in the area.
I just wish it was closer to home. Easy to shop and find what you need. Returning things super easy.
I shopped here a few times pre-COVID; and the store was well stocked and pretty organized. I called today trying to get some help so I wouldnt have to make a special trip to the store. Very disappointingly, nobody ever picked up the call, even though I let it ring for more than 5 minutes.
Employees were there to help. Nice. Hard to find employees that are even available let alone, knowledgeable. The appliances might have been cleaned up to look more attractive in apperance. If not it looks like old models just needing to be moved out.

I had the worst customer service in years at this Home Depot. The man was rude and did want to help me. I was planning to order several major items from this Daly City store but so discussed in the behavior of this employee that I just walked out without items Id plan to purchase. This employee was very unprofessional. Who is the manager of this store? I would like to speak to the management. Please, please send a text so I can submit my complain directly to management. I do not believe this is representative of this store. Thank you for your help.

Hopefully they have their escalator / elevator issues fixed, by now.... But 1 elevator was working, and both escalators did run... But one side didnt take your cart, too. They were well stocked and we got more than what we came for.
One of my favorites. But if you need electrical, sucks because it’s the second floor back corner. Otherwise fantastic stock and a holiday corner too

Not the largest home depot but its my local one. Great for little tools here and there. Id rather go here for something quick than the colma ones cause the line is always shorter and more efficient.

Loved this locations nursery and garden area but the staff needs to do a bit more training with customer service though compared to lowes, this home depot would still be a better customer experience.is there a way that we have advisers walking around to help with customers like us instead of having to page someone from someone who always says, Im not in that department, let me page someone.all in all, i would pick this place because of its walking distance proximity to the Sheng Kee Bakery.
We went here to get packing supplies for our move. The staff is super friendly and helpful and they made our dog who joined just feel like a super star - he was in heaven.

I just rented a carpet cleaner. It was expensive but at least the carpet got clean.
Conveniently located at westlake plaza. Gas pretty much everything I need 90% of the time. Usually busy since its so close to residential.

A very good Home Depot. Not having a separate HD Pro nearby creates parking lot challenges. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Rarely out of my size air filter.
The most reliable Home Depot around. Its smaller than the others so their stock is smaller but if you know what youre looking for, they can always help. Look for Devan or Dennis, they know the store, tools, and projects better than some people know their children!
If you are looking to buy an appliance DO NOT order with Home Depot. They, and the delivery company they deal with, will not care about you or your order and they will tell you that they will deliver it, but you will spend the better part of 2 weeks calling them and following up with them only to finally call HomeDepot.com for a refund. This is the WORST service I have ever had and I WILL NOT BE SPENDING ANY MONEY AT ANY HOME DEPOT EVER AGAIN. Go to Lowes, or any other place, do not waste your time or money dealing with these people. If I could give zero stars I would.

Purchased a Bosch dishwasher in July and was finally delivered and installed in October. The dishwasher is great and so was the installation team. My review is for Home Depot because when I purchased the dishwasher, they stated a delivery date of 2 weeks after purchase. One day before the scheduled delivery, I received an email stating the item is on back order and will not arrive until October. No apologies or restitution, etc. They only offered to cancel the item without a penalty. Yes, the price was good and I was not desperate for the dishwasher, so I was able to wait on it. Overall, the customer experience and service was awful. I definitely got what I paid for.
A smaller store but still a good selection. One demerit for the customer service & return area. The staff at the return desk are rather mean regarding the return line. Maybe make the return queue more obvious and rethink the customer service approach.
This one is two stories high. Electrical is on the second floor. The down escalator has off line for at least a couple months. And tight parking.
Ordered a Laundry Unit that should have been delivered a week ago; we have yet to receive any update from this location. We cannot even get someone to answer the phone and explain the delay or when we will actually receive the appliance. 0% chance of purchasing a thing from Home Depot in the future.
Somebody in their corporate headquarters has to address staffing/training of their sales assistants. The place is great if you know what you want to buy. But hell could freeze over if you actually need assistance from someone who knows what they are talking about. It is so frustrating. They would serve their customers a whole lot better if associates had some kind of ranking system - those that actually had handyman/fixit/construction knowledge and those that can just tell you what aisle the lightbulbs are on. AND, have you ever tried to call a department looking for information? Hell could freeze over twice...
Service was great. Always fun shopping in crazy San Fran. Two story Home Depot--you dont find those everywhere! They still have what you need. And an elevator.
Well stocked, well organized and fairly well staffed. Employees were helpful and knowledgeable on this visit. All customers and employees were wearing masks and the elevators have clear instructions on how you should social distance, 5 per elevator.
Almost always have the materials or items I shop for in stock. Self- checkout is convenient. Customer service desk gets quite busy at times. While the parking area is sufficient, its a bit of a tight squeeze with its narrow stalls in an effort to accommodate more vehicles. Personally, to prevent getting my car dented by others, I prefer to park farther away and consider my walk back to the store as exercise!

Absolutely horrific customer service. Waited on the phone for 33 minutes to ask if they had a Dewalt tool combo kit in stock all the while listening to All of our customers representatives are assisting other callers at this time. Your call is very important to us . Please stay on the line and it will be handled in the order it was received .... Actually, I dont think that our calls are that important to you as, if they were, youd find a way to make it a little easier for us to spend our money!! I only live ten minutes from there so it actually would have been quicker to drive down there in person, than it would have been to make a phone call!!!!!!!! In this day and age, SHOCKING!
Westlake Mall..This Home Depot is Smaller than most Home Depots, but has two floors..Its Clean, Neat, No Long Lines,Staff was Polite, Nice and Very Helpful.. Outside Parking Lot. Surrounded by Restaurants, Panda, Bakeries, Trader Joes, Ross, Walgreens, and a Small Target self serve only..
The staff working in gardening are so helpful!

I can see the ocean from the top of some of the shelfs here! great view but i didnt like how there was furniture everywhere for some reason.
I asked for help loading heavy items into my cart, but instead of helping, employees stood by and watched me struggle to load my cart. The cashier was rude and appeared inconvenienced when I asked for help loading my car. Another customer, who was parked close to me, got no help, so we ended up helping eachother. Ill go to Colma from now on Thank You.

Return lines are about 10 miles long, but otherwise this store is so much better than the Lowes in SF its worth the trip.

Lots of shoppers out there today! Found what we needed. They have lots of holiday decorations and plants for sale. (November 27, 2020).
Security person was so rude, standing idly with their juice next to them. She barked at me to stand at the return line with such a poor attitude. The store wasnt even busy. The customer service at the return was friendly and nice but overall, at such a sensitive time in the country, a little kindness would go a long way. Maybe, thats what reality is.

I love supporting Home Depot for all these reasons, and I love that they have online customer service in the US because it’s much better and it means we are supporting US jobs.

Pretty awkward layout, especially around the checkout, and the split level makes it weird. But they have an amazing collection of Halloween lawn decorations, and helpful staff.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO AVOID COVID! Absolutely zero people in the store following the social distancing guidelines that they themselves had posted on their walls. The manager himself told me to calm down when I asked him to please not stand two feet away from me near the cash registers. No measures in place to sanitize anything or keep people a proper distance apart at checkout. This store is a positive disaster from a disease prevention standpoint -- stay away!
I couldnt find the UX offices, so leaving this review here. The home depot online ordering system is horrible. If you order 2 things from your local store, and one of them has to be shipped from another store, they will hound you to come pick up your partial order, and then tell you its your last chance, even if the rest of your order hasnt arrived yet. And if you actually go to pick it up, a few hours after the rest of your order arrives, and they havent stocked the 2nd item yet, youre SOL and youll have to make two trips. F this, I tried to keep my local option in business, but Im switching to Amazon until HD makes this better. Home Depot Corporate: Let me know when youve added a hold until entire order arrives button and Ill take down the review.
I came to this home depot for a replacement valve and facuat after the westlake home depot was out of stock; the website said they had 9 in stock. There was a very helpful employee who helped me get the right parts.
Well organized and plenty of parking.
Customer service is great, products are stocked only issue is the escalator has been shut off for the past month or so forcing people to wait and huddle up in the elevator
I am so frustrated and I am not getting any help. I bought a hot water tank from Home depot and the tank worked fine for about few months and started giving us issues. Called the support and dealing with them for about a month, finally they understood that the tank had an issue. I had to call a plumber again and got the tank replaced. Tank worked fine until few months back. I called home depot as I bought the product from there. I was told that the item has been a year and they cannot do anything. That is not the answer I was expecting from a company this big. I was told to call the support number which I did and I have spoken with 6 different person and yet this issue had not be resolved. This is what I went throughContact Rheem-First I was told that my power supply had an issue. I called someone to check and it was fine-Then they told me that the vent was install incorrectly. I had to call a plumber to redo the vents but still did not work.-Then I was told that to go and buy a tester to test the power supplies. Spend $50.00 but no power when tested-Then I was told that the front power supplier was not working and they have to send me a new one. Waited for about week, finally got that installed.-Worked for about a week and half. Then now it’s not working.
