What a great find! This cute, eclectic spot has a unique flair. The bakery items are amazing. We had a lemon curd muffin with raspberry icing. Yum! The veggies burger salad was fabulous. Coffee drinks are served in huge cups! Our server, Will was friendly, attentive, and personable! He listened to our needs and gave great suggestions! I cant wait to come back again!

Great breakfast skillet! It was tasty and had great ingredients like brussel sprouts, beans, sweet potatoes, cauliflower and more! Definitely hit the spot and the oat milk latte was also very good.

Smells amazing from the moment you walk in, looks fantastic and taste doesnt disappoint. Knowing it is all lovingly made from scratch makes it that much better. Staff extremely warm and personable. And the decor... I think Ive found my new favorite spot!! ❤️Today I tried the oatmeal, coconut custard and flat white. All were excellent!!

Fun decor, attentive, helpful and kind staff... every request was met with a smile and of course! Food was fresh and all scratch/in house made ~ from the freshly roasted red peppers and homemade turkey sausage in my (egg white) omelette, the flavorful and spicy hot sauce to the house smoked bacon and scratch made cheese bread my SO enjoyed... perfect example of the details make a difference! Highly recommend this place and well be back at some point to try their lunch menu! 😊

As a former New Yorker recently relocated to Brewster I have been craving a run to a coffee shop where I can sit and drink my coffee from a ceramic cup maybe with a side of a freshly baked pastry. So happy I found this place, it definitely is more than a coffee shop as their menu is quite large, but it is filled with that cozy atmosphere and serves wonderful coffee and baked goods! Staff is beyond welcoming, tables are well spaced and you feel nice and safe there. Cannot wait to be back!

In a word: Outstanding! What a great little Cafe. The staff was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Food tasted fresh. I had breakfast tacos with the hot sauce on the side. It was delicious. Fresh squeezed juice was done right, sweet with no bitter. One note - if you drive a full size SUV use caution when parking. The back lot is low clearance. I only had a couple of inches in my Toyota, I could touch the beams. Dont know if Ill ever have the opportunity to visit Danbury again, but The Mothership will be on the list if I do. Tim

The food and drinks were great but when we tried to find a place to sit, all of the tables were dirty and there were some flies buzzing around. Once we alerted the staff to the issue, they quickly went around and cleaned the tables.

I went for Sunday lunch with my boyfriend. First time here for both of us... WE LOVED IT! The food is super fresh and delicious, very nice vibe, and the staff was great, especially our server Will. He went above and beyond, gave us great recommendations and always made sure we were okay. We will be back!

First time here, parking in back is tight and with a low 6ft clearance. Luckily I didnt drive my truck today. Entering thru the back was a bit confusing since no one greeted us and we had no idea where to go, if we seat ourselves and how to order. Super friendly staff at the bakery. The food is a bit pricey and portions are small.The BLT I had was amazing delicious.One downside I have is they didnt have OJ or soda to go with my meal. So thirsty....

Food was great a bit more expensive than anticipated but high quality for sure. Mushroom omelette was excellent. Super fluffy, even though it took 20 minutes to make. Coconut macaroons were amazing, the cheese bread could use a little work but my son liked it none the Less.

Came in this morning with my family and had a great time. Mothership on Main had a good variety of things that made everyone happy and their coffee was great. I am happy that we swung by and not Dunkin this morning. Thank you so much for giving my family and I a great experience today.

My wife loves this place! She doesnt ever want to come home and tries to go to Mothership on Main every week. She comes home and tells me everything that she and her friends had. I am jealous! I cant wait to have a guys day here. If you want to try a place out I hear ALL THE TIME that this is the place to go.

While visiting Danbury this week we stumbled across this gem of a restaurant. Upon entering the eclectic, fun space your mouth starts to water as the amazing smells of baked goods overtakes you. The food is off the charts delicious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff, EVERY single one of them, were very pleasant and clearly happy to be at work. This is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Find for anyone lucky enough to be in the area!

Great service and delicious food. I ordered a tofu scramble and they had no issue substituting what I wanted. Very yummy! Also had quite a few gluten free and vegan options!!

Great scratch made food. Stop for breakfast had a great BEC sandwich. The decor is unique, reminds me of when I visited my grandmothers house.

This place is a great bakery/coffee shop. Plenty of choices on the coffee. Our boys were able to get some steamers, so they enjoyed it too. They had some vegan bakery options as well. Could also watch them baking their goodies through the glass between their kitchen and dining area. Definitely worth the stop!!!!

Awesome place! Amazing atmosphere and tasty food. The feedback I’d give was the food did take a little while for being a salad and two BLTs, and if they toasted the BLT bread it would have been even better! We are just passing through Danbury but i would recommend it to others. :)

Interesting place. Fun, eclectic, open-seating space with a friendly, efficient staff and excellent, inventive food. Scones like fresh-baked blackberry bourbon are fantastic, if a touch sweeter than average. The bacon, egg and cheese was generous on the cheese, two eggs and excellent well-cooked bacon. It was served on a home-baked roll that was a bit smaller and more dense than expected, the one downside to this otherwise outstanding sandwich. It took almost 10 minutes for the kitchen to produce my sandwich - worth the wait, if youre not in a rush.

Mothership is amazing. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. Desserts arent overwhelmingly sweet and sandwiches arent dry. This place is an instant favorite.

This place is great for breakfast and coffee lovers. Not an upscale place but the food was definitely fresh, everything straight out of a farm or oven. The dining area is really spacious and has a lot of fun stuffs for the kids to play with and keep them occupied while you relish your food.Just a little downside - The potions were small so not always value for money..

Absolutely amazing experience!! We went for dinner and it was nothing short of amazing. The space is open, fun and inviting. All the wait staff were so kind and accommodating. The dinner menu had a lot of fun cocktails and mocktails that were delicious as well as a great selection of upscale comfort food. The tacos and biscuits were out of this world.The price point was perfect for the level of service and quality of food we received! I cant say enough about this place. Dont miss out!!!

Not from the area so after reading very good reviews about this place I was excited to try it! What a disappointment!! We were seated and did not get menus until I flagged a server down after a 10 minute wait, waited another 15-20 minutes to get our order taken, after we placed our order we waited over 40 minutes for the food 😑...the food was ok nothing to gloat about and too pricey but if we are in the Danbury area again, DEFINITELY will not be going back to this place. I found a hidden gem called Sonny Side Up...ABSOLUTLEY FANTASTIC!!!! TOTALLY MADE UP FOR OUR BAD EXPERIENCE AT MOTHERSHIP ON MAIN 😊😊

A solid three stars. There was quite a line when we visited. They were great about getting things moving quickly. I was also impressed by the food. What brought out the 3 stars was the coffee itself we asked if the Ethiopian was a yirgacheffe we were told its an Ethiopian. We ordered it anyway. Ended up pouring it out in the grass. It was old, stale, coffee. Not sure they know how to brew drip. The latte was ok though the calibration was off and i ended up with watery coffee milk.Its a cool place to eat and hang out. Just not for coffee.

Stopped by for breakfast when I was visiting a friend. The grilled veggies sandwich on the menu was really good. Service is super. They actually have oat milk available for my latte. Nice atmosphere too. Small menu though, although I don’t mind.

Great atmosphere. I moved in down the road a while ago and finally checked this place out. Rotating specials give extra variety to the already varied menu. Was impressed by staff interaction, the girls I saw were certainly a great team- very important in a more intimate eatery like this.I will most definitely be back, it was too hard to choose which cookie to eat!

Why if youre closed on Easter Sunday would your website still accept reservations? Also, you did not make it very noticeable on your website that you were closing on EASTER. I drive from an hour away to discover you were not open.

Good place but no table service and coffee is self serve not the best service. This is order at the counter and then sit and they drop your order to the table. They are missing the mark in my opinion.

Coffee here is between very good and excellent. Its the best Ive had in Connecticut by a large margin. Espresso shots are tamper and pulled with real skill - great crema, balanced acidity, neither watery not over extracted like you find with chain joints.The staff are friendly and if you arrive hungry, the amazing smells from the kitchen and visual displays of the pastries may well get you ordering more than you planned on. My only quibble us with the coffee itself. It is good but not up to the skills of the barista working on this Sunday morning.

You must go to Mothership! Baked items change on a daily basis and are so good. The mocha custard looked to die for, but I could not indulge because the special was so scrumptious. It was a butternut squash soup (vegan and dairy free) combo with a grilled cheese on white bread. If I could I would eat here every breakfast and lunch.

To be able to pick up a freshly cooked turkey right out of the oven on Thanksgiving Day is priceless! It was not only cooked perfectly but was delicious. We got more compliments on the turkey it was hard to admit we didn’t cook it ourselves. Thank you Mothership!

Attempted to bake the molasses cookies shown on page 104 of October Connecticut Magazine. Extremely disappointing! Used all of the ingredients listed, baking time and temp, quantity, and then aged mixture for 4 hours in refrigerator as instructed. At 12 minutes the mixture flattened out like a pancake and was still raw and uncooked. Attempted a longer baking time with the same result. Recipe must be wrong.

Probably the most incredible buisness to have opened in this town. I find myself at Mothership weekly if not more almost religiously. Their beverages are the most beautiful and brilliant things that could be contained in a cup, and their in house made food is equally phenomenal. This place has ruined sub par coffee shops for me, due to me now knowing what exquisitely made coffee and coffee shop foods are. The service and friendly manner of everyone one there is also worth mentioning, I honestly could not say enough great things about this place, there isnt enough room for me to type it all and your attention span is not enough to read it all. I hope this place is here to stay forever.
