Such a unique experience! Pete is such a nice guy. Friendly atmosphere. Cool, eclectic vibe. Tons of choices! I got the classy lady. 8 milk options! Holy cow! Ive had the crepes on a past visit, they are delish. Pastry options available. Indoor and outdoor seating. The have a rewards program too. Will definitely be coming back! If you are looking for something different and a cool place to get great food and chill, I highly recommend it.

We found this adorable coffee house by chance when passing by the area. Peter, the owner was super friendly and the coffees and baked goods were fresh and tasty. I’m so happy we had this option instead of a Starbucks!!! We’ll definitely be back next time we are close by.

Cute place!! Good vibe & atmosphere, however, the Americanos were very weak. Maybe we should have let them make them with water?? We have never been asked if we want the water all the way up. Dont know what that means! Spent $10 on what tastes like McDonalds regular coffee. (Feeling spoiled by our little town Joe Beans coffee caboose!)

Today’s travel took us to Danbury we were trying to get out of the heat and I’m on a mission to practice my photography so we stopped at Rumors European Cafe for some coffee and a snack. It’s a cute little cafe and although it was hot in there it was definitely better then being outside. One sip of that latte and I quickly regretted not getting a large. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area. They also have a tower of board games. Final cost for coffee, a latte, a bottle of water, muffin, and brownie which was gluten-free by the way $15

I dont know if I came on a bad day, but my cappuccino tasted VERY watered down with basically no flavor. I was disappointed in the beverage, but I will say that the interior is awesome and has a very home-like atmosphere. There are board games everywhere so if you run out of things to talk about with whoever you go with, you always have another option ;)!

Im a big fan of a coffeehouse that offers good coffee eclipsed by a menu sharing local goodies, comfortable surrounding allowing you to tap the intellectual side, sharing sound and sight without leaving your witty side out doors. Looking forward to the patio in warmer weather. A slightly hidden treasure!!!!!

Hidden gem! They made me such a delicious coffee. I usually stick to black coffee but felt a bit adventurous and opted for the nutty professor from their menu. What a great drink! Sugary, yes but hey were all allowed some cheat days in a year! Highly recommended.Covid protocols being followed. Outdoor seating available. Not crowded.

Cream is really good if you order it they make it right there, but coffee is held in those gas station pots (the ones not connected to stay hot). So pick the jug up to estimate how much (or little is left). The less left, the colder it is. Our coffees (we bought) were a blend of all the jugs. Thats being said the people are very nice and if you arent satisfied just tell them and they will fix it. Just cant be afraid to speak up! I will return.

What a fabulous place to stumble upon! The owner is exceptionally helpful and friendly. With his recommendation, I tried the hot Dario (two shots of espresso with Nutella) and my wife got the Nonna’s Biscotti iced (latte with amaretto, orange, and almond). The Dario is rich with flavor and not too sweet. The Biscotti has a nice hint of the flavors with none overpowering the drink. We’ll definitely visit again when we’re in the area

HOLY COW, IS THIS PLACE FOR REAL!!!! This is a slice of Nirvana, literally everything in this Cafe is fantastic! Its so good, they should build a City around it and have its own mayor.

Rumors cafe has been one of my favorite spots in Danbury since its opening. Tucked away on Mill Plain Road, its a treasure to be discovered with wonderful service, quaint atmosphere, and delicious hand crafted beverages. Theyre taking all necessary precautions during the pandemic while still maintaining their homey vibe. Rumors is a great place for work, relaxation, and interesting conversation. I cannot recommend Rumors enough.

Several gluten free bakery options.At the very entrance to the littlenplaza it is in, and facing the road. No signage on the side of the building, so I actually found it a bit difficult to locate. Cool, laid back atmosphere, but the barista was only able to make 1 coffe at a time and had no other help, so with one person in front of me, and me ordering 2 coffees and some baked goods, it took well over 10 mins (15?) before I was back in my car. A variety of cool different expresso-based drinks. Mine were a bit too sweet, but given it was the first two I have tried I am sure one of the many options will be perfect. I will be going g again.

I went there my whole high school career because it was addicting! The coffee is amazing, especially their signature lattes, and I love how it comes in mugs if you choose to stay and drink.

I am very impressed with this small coffee shop. It took a little while to get our drinks, but the batista clearly put care into making them. My chai tea latte was one of the best Ive ever had! The shoppe has an eclectic mix of paintings, photos and nik nacks, but it all seemed to work together.

Without a doubt, the best option for coffee in Danbury. Although the prices are higher than most, this small business has some of the freshest coffee around. If you aren’t sure what to get, their iced coffee is an easy and delicious choice. They have seating inside and outside, hot drinks, iced drinks, tea, plus a small variety of pastries. Please stop in!

The guy who seemingly runs the place is so nice! The coffee was also super fantastic. Theres a little gift shop set up for the purchase of some soaps and randoms which is nice to have for people seeking souvenirs perhaps. Then, there are photos of dogs on the walls and that does it for me. Again, coffee was so delicious!

Very fun and a great place to hang out! The coffee is great but there are many selections of drinks you can choose from. There is also a small selection of snacks. The environment of the shop isnt like any other, its warm and comforting. Anybody could feel at home at rumors.

This is a cute little coffee shop. It reminds me of one back home in southern Georgia. It has half a dozen tables . There are books to read on a book cart and there are games to play. There are small gifts that you can buy and theres some pastries that are available for purchase. As for the coffee, it was okay, but it was weak. I am used to a very strong cup of coffee and this was not . The help was nice . They did have a sign up saying they were closing early today. try any of the baked goods, so I cant comment.

Great environment, good coffee, and an excellent staff. Also they have games so you can hang out and play Monopoly or a game of LIFE with your friends or family over a cup of coffee. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quality coffee shop.

Coffee takes a while to get to you, but its amazing and delicious. Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very calming. Their large iced coffee is comically big. I suggest the laté, but youre solid getting anything from there really.

Maybe its my bad luck, but this high reviews coffee shop has not translated to anything impressive. Both the coffee and desert the first time around were bland. But I figured I give it one more shot. I tried a different desert and coffee, and again it was disappointing. The decor is small but cozy, and relaxing. I will give it one more shot next time I pass by this place next month. Like they say in baseball, three strikes is needed to be out. Its just two strikes at this point.

This is an adorable little coffee shop with an entire bookshelf of board games and beautiful wooden furniture and couches. There is a very creative selection of speciality lattes and smoothies. In the pastry display the day I visited, there were 3 gluten free pastry options (as well as many other gluten options)! My friends and I split the magic bar and the banana bread, both of which I would get again. The other GF option was a big brownie, which I plan to try sometime. Our lattes came in adorable decorative mugs. Wifi is free and the atmosphere is very relaxing. This would be a good place to study and do work.

A hidden gem on Mill Plain Rd. I tried the Dirty Mocha Chai. Very good. Cute place with board games, books and room to sit down and talk.

I usually just grab something and go, but on the miraculous day I have some time to go sit and relax, I plan to do so here.

We spent some time in this place!We had a lot of coffee (espresso) and played a lot with some tableboards (remembered a lit bit of our childhood).Was raining, and was a perfect day to sit and enjoy coffee and muffins.The espresso is very well prepared!The only thing is, they don’t have “salty food”, so.. we’re hungry, and we had just muffins.If there was more options of food, probably I was going to take my friends to enjoy with us.

A really friendly place to frequent either alone, with friends, or with your partner! The baristas and owner are very LGBT+ friendly and try to make sure their cafe is a respectful, safe place for everyone.The general interior has a lot of warm colors and feels homey with a variety of seating and tables so that each area feels special. The walls are decorated with art from local artists, most of which are available for purchase. The owner has a bit of a Star Wars theme going with some of his decorations.Each barista has their own unique taste of music that they play while working and the owner is a very nice guy thats easy to converse and get along with.They can make any of their specialty drinks into iced drinks, which is super nice, and they offer vegan baked goods among regular ones that are just as tasty! A good place to go if you want coffee or tea with something sweet to eat.It can get loud at times when its busy/packed but will always quiet down relatively quickly. They have a large array of table-top games that customers are free to play while theyre here, so its great for small groups. They can do small, private events, just call and speak to the owner about it. I believe they also do to-go orders if you call in advance, but dont quote me on that.Dog-friendly as long as the dog isnt very big, is well-behaved/friendly with strangers.

Cozy little spot with excellent service and has something for everyone, including a whole bunch of delicious signature drinks and assorted pastries. Definitely worth checking out. Skip the 5bux and DD spots and hit this place- You will not be disappointed.

Great little coffee shop located near the WCSU Westside campus. Didnt sleep last night? Have no fear their many latte flavor selections are available in small (roughly 16 oz) or Large (4 shots and roughly 32 oz.) They have a great selection of baked goods also.

It was fine but not fantastic Walked in and the first thought that came to mind was morgue. Extremely quiet and lacked any kind of vibe. Very little socializing going on just a bunch of people by themselves engrossed in their selected media. Regular black coffee was good.

Quality coffee, and a very cozy atmosphere

I had been taking classes nearby for nearly a year without a cafe in proximity I liked. Alas, today I was on my way to Starbucks. To my good fortune, I noticed this cafe along my way. There were a couple tables outside, a mans bike parked, large windows that framed what looked like tastefully furnished seating inside. I had to kill time, so I ordered a couple espressos and a coffee - perhaps not the best decision given its late afternoon, but I had them all black, and they were brewed quite well. They are new since November and dont offer much yet beyond crepes on the weekends, waffles, baked goods, gelato, that sort, but there are gluten free options (not for me, but figured its worth mentioning) and I was told they were trying to bring in more food. Anyways, it appeared the man with the bike was a regular customer, given that he biked in mid-day traffic, and it appears I might be returning as well.
